I was wondering if there is any way of changing your forum name as a one-time change? I'm tired of using my current one....been using it going on three or so years now.

When these new forums took effect, I was no longer allowed to use my forum name at the time. I had to change it, and as a result posts of mine are going unnoticed and ignored because no one knows the name.
A one-off forum name change grant shouldn't be too much of a problem, considering only an estimated 25% of people will use it.
There is the question of banned accounts using different names to regain access to the forums, but I'm sure the bans handed out are dependant on more than the persons forum name.

I think 'TheGrymmOne' is a pretty cool forum name.
I'd like to change my forum name to my main name. although they don't do it *sob*
As it stands right now the only way your forum name will be changed is if it violates the forums TOS. This could change in the future but I'm not sure.

We will leave it at this. Names will be changed only when we (The MxO Staff) feels that your user name is in violation of the forums TOS or if in some rare cases it's so long that it messes up the formating.
If you feel that your name for some odd reason violates the TOS then report yourself and we will review your name.
