For the first time since beta, I am taking an extended break from the game (real life, etc., etc.), and I'm not sure when I'll get back. As has been said time and time again, a major part of this game is the community, and I have enjoyed being a part of it. As a little gift, I am releasing a utility I've been working on: MxO Config (UserOpts.cfg for the masses ). Maybe a few of you will find it useful. Hope to see you again soon!
That was the sound of my jaw dropping on my keyboard.

SJ, I spent almost the whole day reading Bayamos' thread (with everone else contributions as well . It was a little daunting, even for someone who's not afraid of tweaking user.ini files. But this. . .man! It's . . . well. . . it's genius.
If no one else says it, thanks bro. Good luck, and come back soon.
Wow, this works pretty well. My awesomeness quote was a before use. But after, pure sex. Absolutely.
Good job! We need more modders like you! Now if only Sony wouldn't breath down our necks when we try to add addons to the game. I think, if you can use an addon, and its not exploiting or anything, than it should be allowed. But whatev.
it's a great little..... cofig thingy altho I'm gonna have to rain on yer parade, for some reason the uber range textures thing don't work, I don't know if they changed it because I've tried it a million times and it don't work rly lookin forward to that aswell
If you mean "Full Model Detail", that's a setting I picked up from one of Walrus' Looking Glass articles. If anyone can see I'm doing something wrong with that in UserOpts.cfg, please let me know, and I'll fix it. Same goes for any other setting.
What does this file do? I'm scared to run it just in case it messes something up.
Yeah, I'm paranoid.
All it does is allow advanced custom settings, its an easy way of configuring your useropts so you can increase the zoom in and out and stuff like that. It wont harm your game at all (As far as I know its imposible to do that with useropts, it can even take a back up of current useropts (Some people might not have one unless you added it in yourself). If your game looks wierd or anything just go into your game dirrectly and delete the useropts.cfg file.
It's basically a user-friendly way to edit your useropts file. This tool was intended to continue being added upon by the genius who made it, but alas, he is no longer with us.
Sorry that my hosting troubles affected others, though I'm glad to see there's still interest in the tool. I've acquired my own hosting, so the site should stay up now, including MxO Config. Enjoy!
