i was going over some old transcrpits (the ones we used to get during critical missions which i thought was really cool but annway) i came across the kingmaker and realized i never figured out who he was or if it was a code name for some one else so who is he?

I don't think we have seen anything else about it
Kind of like the Sarah Edmontons document in one of the missions too, maybe it's something yet to come in the story!

it could be a code name for Assassin. could you post the text of this item?
I assumed "Kingmaker" was a codename for a character we already knew about. In fact, I assumed it was Morpheus.

I don't remember the text exactly, but it was something to do with the Commandos/Red-Eyes sending a report to the General (or vice versa?) about a threat that has been seen near their operation stations they codenamed KingMaker, right? Since we haven't seen the Red Eyes or Commandos running into the Assassin, I assumed it was Morpheus since the Red Eyes took particular interest in Morpheus right before his death, along with other exiles with an unknown affiliation.

If I remember correctly, the gist of the message was about the threat assessment of "Kingmaker" increasing to a very high level due to his investigation of the sabotaged hardlines. And Morpheus was investigating the hardlines.

I always assumed it was the General, considering his role in the hardline sabotage of yore. He's got quite a few pseudonyms, come to think of it. He's also known as David Beatts and Cacophony.

ya i got to reread it but its about him going from high-meduim risk to severe... and its not the general i don't think because im pretty sure it was sent to him from the red-eyes
