i was thinkin of a way to show remberance for the events that took place on 9/11 5 years ago and i came up with a idea how bout a peacfull day on vector no ganking zerging etc just a true felling of peace in mxo and if any one would like to do it a memorial service lets say at mara C church if u have any ideas fell free to post or emailme or tell me ingame at nubious81

It is an extremely nice gesture, but remember that there's some true jackasses out there who probably are too young to even remember 9/11 and will go ahead and gank and gank and gank, no matter the circumstances.

Seriously though, good luck. I think I'll attend this little memorial service.

i think it is a sweet idea but as every1 else said little kids will *CENSORED* and f*** it all up so i think u will be able to do it as long u have security for people who gank but you will need to give people a warning first dont just start attacking coz that could start war. but it would be in good theme as 9/11 did start a war. lol jkin but seriously im up for it seeing one of my friends uncle died in it and also my sister will be 5 years old on 9/11. or over here its 11/9. but yeah so just tell me what time your doing it at and ill be there if i can make it. (try make it suitable to GMT dont make it at like 2am GMT)

Not being harsh or anything but i'd do that kind of thing out of game so in-game would just be a chase to kill the so called 'non hostile' people. Good idea but it just wouldnt work.

are you actually saying you will go and start killing everyones paying their respects to the people who lost their lives at 9/11? im not saying you have to not kill anyone the whole day just dont kill anyone paying their respect at the church. i mean that was a day that schock the world terribly. that would just be disgusting if you were against it or tried to ruin it!!!

I agree w/ Riac. More of less your going to get the gankers with the responses that they pay there $15 a month to play a game not pay tribute. And it being 5 years old its at the point where we need to leave it in the past and move on, no1 likes to rehash bad memories and im sure there would some offended by it being brought up in a video game.

This will sound harsh, but I doubt those who suffered losses due to the events of 9/11 will care about some people not doing something in a video game for a day.

im sorry...its a humbling idea...but why should we pay our respects in a video game? i mean i'll pay my respects IRL or whatever...yeah great idea have a specific zone for non-hostilities or whatever but a server wide cease fire is for a start not going to happen and secondly just no what we play on this server for. Its a video game, not rl...generally most people play games to escape most aspects of RL.

9/11 was sad yes but worse has happened since before that. Shoud lwe do thsi laso for Holocaust Memorial day? Yes did we all forget about thsi much worse and more dreadful event, maybe the Olymipics in Munich memorial day as well, if you want to do a memorial cermeomy for 9/11 do it on Memorial Day.

hah, well just think of this. How about over 2,000 people just wanted to go home and play video games or watch tv. Too bad they cant. Howabout showing some respect.
