That's the question I pose. Can the knowledge be used to further your character's RP?
Personally, I think not.
You see when I decided to switch my character and kill off my other one, I decided to beomce a brand new redpill again and have to look at the matrix as a new person would. So my character won't know very many but the base minimum of the past events in the simulation. For instance, he knows that morpheus is dead, but he doesn't know the details of his death. So when someone tells him why he died, he's gotta very carefully weigh the words and decide wether to beleive it as truth or not.
