Let me step in here for a minute: I agree with those who say it's at least someone *trying* to put together an event. How about helping him/her learn to do it better rather than smacking him/her around?
And what's this about "no-no's"? Obviously, a player can't make The Kid or The General appear for an event. But someone please tell me when false or misleading information was against The Matrix canon.
If you want to help a person understand what potential community faux pas s/he is commiting, please do so. Who knows? The person could turn out to be a good event planner with some direction.
If you find you're wanting to lash out at people who come up with possibly over-the-top event ideas, then please keep your posts to yourself.
