She's going to be the death of me.

Just a few days after she's out of Anome's prison, and she wanted to go face about fifty of the top Mervs. "To thank them," she said.

"No *CENSORED* way," I told her. "You can barely walk, let alone take on that many of them if something goes wrong."

"I won't have to." She smiled at me. "You'll be watching my back."

I pleaded with her to let us take more backup into the club, but she wouldn't hear it. Didn't want there to be a chance for some kind of provocation spoiling her meeting. Finally, I had to give in; otherwise she might have gone and tried to do it solo.

I'll give them this: they were pretty well behaved. The Merv must have told them to keep their claws sheathed. But some day they'll come out again... I just hope it doesn't happen when I'm standing with Niobe in the middle of a room full of them.

There were about 10-15 eager zionites behind that door in the elevator. All of them Wanting to see Niobe and wishing her the best. and Giving praises. (maybe a little pay off, for the monumental work zion has put in)

And Niobe and Ghost wouldnt of given us the Time of day.

With that said, Captain, I must say that Zion as a whole feels pretty annoyed that you shunted us to meet with those Merovingians.... we know you "trust no-one you don't have to" but we are your soldiers, as it were, and you didn't trust us of all people to remain civil, when even the Merv forces could....

She doesnt trust who she doesnt have to, yet she expects us to trust her and fight under her. Ever heard the phrase "Lead by example?". I was always 100% behind zion and Niobe, that event changed it all for me.

Choosing to thank the Merovingian operatives... interesting. The Effectuator did well, better than I thought he would.

As always Niobe, Ghost, trust no one from the Merovingian side, who knows what they would do when it suits them also. However for the time being we will also extend a certain... thankfulness to them.

You know what, how about getting back to the days when you had some sort of semblance of an idea when Live Events may or would be taking place. To be honest the live events are just about all that are left for us lvl 50's who have been here forever and a day and I'm getting a bit tired of missing them. This hit and miss stuff is not gonna fly much longer with what is left of the old Vets (who by the way are the ones who have really put in the time and effort to promote and continue this game when no one else was). And with all respect and kudos going to the Merv's for getting the job done, it still sickens me to know that they rescued her. No system messages were displaying either I gather the day this went down. How about you get your LESIG people on and have them start laying a little ground work with the major factions they represent about when things may take place.... OR if they are already doing that then they need a kick in the butt because I haven't heard boo from one of single one in months
