Today i started thinking about something thats been mentioned on these bored before. Someone mentioned the possiblity of neo not even being human, he might have been a machine that was inserted into the body of a human in order to "balance the equation". But rulling that out its intresting how out of all the others neo had a higher understanding of what the matrix really was, so much that he was the only human to actually see it in code. I also thought about neos occupation as a blue pill he was a program writer, could this be a reason why neo was more aware and understood the matrix better than anyone else. Also it makes me wonder about the ending, if neo died, then why didnt he die in the first film? because he is the one, right? but if he is the one why, or did he really die in revolutions?

I do not suggest that the machine city inserted the anomaly because the Arc admits himself it is a problem he has been trying to keep under control. The Architect, while brief, was pretty foward with neo.

The Matrix can not reset with the anomaly running around wild when it broadcast the 'prime program'. The anomaly itself in this form is 'AI' (for lack of a better term) in the matrix. The presence of 'AI' in the Matrix does not mean that there then a Matrix inside of a Matrix has to develop, because the Architect is obviously aware of its existance. The Matrix comic Let It All Fall Down ( http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/ ) gives proof that 'AI' can exist inside the Matrix and be commanded to 'awaken'.
Now If Neo was just human and not some sort of hybrid... how:
Is he born inside the Matrix?
Carry the anomaly code?
Can he see the Smith Virus as Bane, but not Trinity?

Neo didn't die in the first movie because it wasn't his time to die yet, he still had a purpose to fulfil. The only way he could die is if he was cancelled out by his opposite which was Smith so Smith had to die aswell, which is what happens at the end of Revolutions.
