Alan Rogers was born in Megacity, USA. To be more specific, Southard. As he was growing up, he learned that he was a long-removed cousin of the ancient Romanov royal family of the Russian Empire. In the midst of college, he decided to drop out and legally changed his name to Alec Romanov. Studying on various laws, he discovered multiple loop-holes in the Legal System. A drug lord by the name of Simon took interest in Alec's knowledge and strength and hired him on as a go-to man in his organization.
Four years later, a mysterious client was discovered to be an under-cover for the police, and Simon was nearly killed in a gun fight that ensued the treachery. Operating under a hacker alias, Romanov managed to shut out the police in the technologically advanced warehouse. From then on, Alec Romanov was a close technical body-guard to Simon, under the strange alias of Zippy the Squirrel.

Flood: Well, operatives, it appears our dear ZippyTheSquirrel has gotten a bit soft in the head concerning our enemies, the Cypherites. We need you to go and convince him that the silly bluepill wanna-bes are as against us as any Machine, and he should get his own head out of the clouds and back to reality. You can do that simple task, can't you? I hardly think it would take very long - he's not exactly known for his common sense or attention span. Just make sure that he'll be as ready to take on ANY mission I give him. Also, we have reason to believe that someone may be attempting to learn about his bluepill life. Make sure they don't. Surely you understand what I'm trying to tell you?
Shimada: This operative has become a great pain to us, operatives. We need you to take out ZippyTheSquirrel. Just find him an eliminate him before he can cause us any more grief.
