Hey was wondering if any of you guys from way back before the game was in BETA still play (basically any of the stratics #mxo peeps) and many people i know form BETA.

Can't decide whether to start playing again, not played at all since SOE took over. Maybe you guys could convince me?

How's it going? i do miss the old BETA days even though the game sucked donkeys, had a fantastic community. Is FA still alive Fuse?

Oh and whats AWR? i'm guessing its a new Radio station thingy? i completely left the entire MxO scene right back at the RFZ dispute when it was KO'd. Didn't stick around to see what followed.

I played since release, so probably started in March/April last year. However I cancelled in January as I got fed up, but Im amazed to see so many names that I recognise still playing, I salute your perseverance! SMILEY

Phrog, I was a Stratics staffer for a short amount of time, remember? I remember Kaltren and Mendel purposely didn't get me a Beta spot because they wanted me to report from a non-Beta POV (as to not break any NDA) and then saw me in MxO like the second week and were like "crap".

You're right. Man, I forgot all about that. I specifically remember being told not to tell you that the three of us were in though. Something about the big faction and how you were likely to spill stuff... lol

I was pretty displeased with the way a lot of things were handled by Mendel/Kaltren back then. And don't get me started on Mendel's wife... anybody remember her from Stratics #MxO? Actually managed to drive Eris and some of the other Lith staffers out of the room permanently by just in general being a nutcase. She's part of the reason I just quit one day. Weird, but I can't even remember her name now. People who are the head OP of IRC chat rooms and take that as an excuse to lord over people are just sort of pathetic.

It's so strange that less than two years later, none of them are around at all. The last update on the Stratics site for a very long time was the SOE transfer. Heck, the poll there has been the same since that was announced.

Remember the Matrix Fests, where we all watched the films in sync with each other and talked about it as it went?
I miss that place... being able to log-in at pretty much any point during the day and having it be at least somewhat active. Those were good days.

Adonai was pretty cool, was a good guy. He made the mistake of forming Viral Vendetta with Mek, Me, Psyidelicos and Sm0ke, didn't do his Reputation much good SMILEY

I remember Ras too, from the IRC channel not the game.
Many people who knew me back then knew that i prefered IRC chatting with all us crazed Matrix fans mroe than the game itself. This game was never any good, but the community was fantastic.

Me neither. I was here when Satta was PoisonIV and Garu was Garutachi. Back in the times when Razor911 first offered Satta the application to join the collective.

I'm still around. It's good to see that some things don't change.

I did? I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I'm not a fan of PvP. Then again, it was beta.

Also, I'd like to point out that I've seen Sneaker floating around somewhere (I think he was even at the SOE block party, though I may be wrong). I've also seen Seraya log onto the forum a few months ago, and I think she even posted once or twice.

Wow N-Tell you remember that? I almost joined RIP. *Shudders*

Back before beta TC members used to post back to back in every thread similar to how Musutangu and Venatrix do today. Those were great times. TC has alot of vets from before beta. Guys like Seraosha, Sneaker, VidGamer (Remagdiv), Dasein, Garutachi, JacobiB, AGTWeezer, Seraya, Fallen Angel Eyes, Sybarite, Verlaine. Early beta we got Sugaree, Alysha, Lucen, Illyria, Nospoon, Deception, Sybarite, Upstream, Merin, Cryptoh, Mek, Rovman, Psychedelicos, BioHazard, Tesi, Aoife.. After live we got Calliente, Melt, Darkmitz, Roukan, etc... too many for me to name and I still left out alot of people.

Still out of all my experience in this game I love the archive wars the best. I have never had so much fun, despite the final night of beta. Having 4 full TC teams in the archive and back then each team could hold 8 people and taking on everybody was da bomb. I miss people like Darbacour, and Meduna who were fixtures in the archive, and Meduna's permanent speed bug. She looked like a lightning bolt running across the screen. For all you new people who came since live you have never seen anything move that fast.

Yep, I'm still around. I wasn't at the block party though, since Tuition takes presidence over plane trips.

But, I try to hop ingame a couple times a week for some good ol combat. I do love my sniper/patcher build.

For the rest of the machines remember the machine council. lol I was in MDI. When our ***** Leader was to much of a Zion sympthist, that everyone hated MDI. So I took it over made it machine crazy and then left it to start The Agency. Good times I had.BEta was great the end of beta was greater. Sometimes I wish that everyday in the matrix was like that day.

BTW i am lvl 6 cause I left the game cause I moved. and i didnt have a computer. Now that I am back let the party begin. Look for me AlexiCon, or PyrosBolos. either name you can find me under.
