"Sir" the broad sargeant jumped to his feet, pulling himself from drowsiness just in time to meet the Councillor's approach. Trey's eyes glared from the darkness, the light of the lamp reflecting in the pools of his eyes, creating an almost demonic aura to his gaze. He shook his head, but remained silent, the look had been enough to tell the sargeant the consequences of tardiness. Hurriedly the Sargeant looked away, his fingers tapping impatiently at the keypad on the door next to him. As he pressed the final button, the great steel door slid open, noiseless, yet its motion still creating a tremor in the walls of the tunnel. [size="x-small">[face="georgia,palatino"]A great cave opened out from the door, sealed away from all but those granted access by Trey. None ventured into this realm, none left this realm, without his approval. He smiled often at the thought of the cave, for in this place he was God. The Giver and Taker of life, the creator and destroyer. Had any man been born inside the cave, and lived his life there, he would know nothing of Zion, nor of anything beyond the great door, he would only know Trey. The man from beyond. Trey's thoughts often spiralled off into incredulities, but he enjoyed the moments distraction nonetheless.
