You would have though that after one broken DOT gun was found, the devs
would check for the rest. Apparantly not. Let's take a look at the
stats for the Q-Gun shall we?






Q-Gun (Revolver)




Reuse time: 4.5secs



Base Damage 4-4pts



Range: 16m



Damage (20% Chance) Causes 160 Damage over 20 seconds



Ballistic Accuracy (-2pts)



Min Level 7







Now, what's the issue here. The fact that a level 5- has just used a
level 7 gun on me in PvP. Because it causes 160 damage PER SECOND with
a 20% hit chance. This is far, far worse than the boosted shotgun. I
didn't CCR the person who did it, but anyone I catch using this in the
future is certainly going to be getting one. There is no excuse that
you 'accidentally' used a lvl 7 gun in lvl 50 PvP.

Did the weapon do 160pts per tick or did the total sum of all the ticks add up to 160pts?

The issue is bugged and brought to the devs attention.
