Ive had this idea for ages but never saw any action being done.I figured by now i wasnt alone in the idea and it would been placed in.

The idea is this, when your a lev 50 coder anything you can code or have compile, the recipe you learn is the stats not the clothes. As well as clothe recipes.Have them completly seperate.Maybe another tree like crytography could be used to actually create clothes the way you want.Dpnt change loot tables or the drops we get.Just give us the option via crypto to combine code recipe with any clothing recipe.

So say i found a black shirt recipe, and i already have a 4% ballistic acc recipe. With crypto i can combine the 2 and have a black shirt with 4% accuracy.

Just an idea id love it.:smileyhappy:

under the old clothing buff system they said it wasnt possible, or at least wasnt manpower and time possible. maybe the new system is more friendly to such a change

Yeah, we've been wanting this system for a long, long time. It was our way of praying for some variety in pvp clothing. But I think it's more the clothing system than the buff system that prevents it. From what we've seen from Rarebit, the enhanced items have hard-coded buffs, meaning that every enhanced item has buffs which are assigned permanently. These buffs aren't designed to be dynamic, and the work to make them that way would be... extreme. Not to mention having to design a whole new interface just for the combining of clothes and buffs.

While it would be a wonderous, amazing thing to see... don't expect it any time soon.

True and unfortunate.

Nice idea, but it'll require a complete rewrite of the coding, clothing, and enhancement routines currently used. It'll also need a complete rewrite of the database. As such, don't expect this idea to be done for a very long time. The amount of work involved would probably actually be greater than for CR2.0.

Yes a very good idea, I would love to seperate clothing from buffs I had high hopes CR2 would achieve this but sadly the approach just seems to be more variety of buffs...... not a wholly satisfying solution imo.
