While most people seem to be in agreement that the new system permits people to be more flexible in their clothing choices, I suspect that certain items will still retain their popularity.  Thus we will have a chain of look alikes from time to time.  Therefore, can I make a recommendation?  Why not provide some flexibility in the clothing drops - particularly the hideout and construct drops.  Or maybe just those special drops.
I recall playing on the QA test server almost a year ago and Loripor's jacket came in a couple of different styles for male and female.  I don't believe this ever carried in to the game, but it would be a nice feature.  We could have 3 styles/colors per sex for each rare drop.
Of course we would need more room in our inventories for those of us who want to collect all 3 styles of each! (grin)

How about the ability to store things in our LA code lockers, i mean it's all code anyway, whats the difference, i mean if we can't have a larger inventory on us, might aswell at least have somewhere to keep the stuff.

Also, expand code archive **bleep** it, i can't believe mines full.

Use the mail system to your advantage.  The mails are unlimited in duration now.  :smileywink:

I think that didn't carry through (special drops having more than one model) as the devs don't want to 'needlessly' use up the clothing allocation slots with pre-existing, identical items. Although with the recent change in shielded/armored clothing and the influx of identical model clothing with differing buffs, perhaps they could consider adding two new models per exile/archive drop.

For example, I know some players don't like the Sakura Ninja Mask for females and would, instead, prefer a bandana. Perhap the devs could consider this idea of yours and add a bandana model for that drop. They say they have plenty of space left in the clothing allocation slots, and I bet there are several hundred current clothing items not even being used - that if tracked down, and voted against by the community, could be removed from the game, freeing up even more slots and ensuring that your idea could be used.

You get five imaginary stars from me, anyhow.
