I have about 4 50s now in my faction since I founded it when I was level 10. Now I am 50 I come to the new world of pvp... roll on a few months and I am very used to complaints and so forth of Zergs. What I normally say, and I know someone asked another Captain in my faction about this is to never give up, I say to all Dragoons, never give up and let the enemy respect you. I love a fat army behind me, but I also like a good challenge. No matter what I always stand and fight, mostly if its 15 v 1, they give up, and then it's your chance. I tend to say this to anyone in a team that say's 'Im going it's too hard'. This time I will say it too you all...

Shut up and fight.

If a person in my crew said; "I'm going, it's too hard", they'd find themselves instantly homeless.

I did write a substantial post for this thread, but the one time I forget to Ctrl-C, I get 'duplicate post submission'

It's not an interesting story but it's all you're getting.

Usually I find I can hit Back on my browser, Copy, then go back to the thread, start a new post and Paste.

Oh wait this is about IL right? Uhh.. there's a reason for memes like 'strength in numbers'.

I PvP alone, and I do fine.  It's all about timing, and knowing when to fall back.

Oh I didn't mean to impugn anyone's ability here, that was just the first thing to come to mind that was vaguely related to the topic.

I don't mind the "Zerg". It just showes that they have the luck of being able to organize larger groups for PvP. So it's my fault for not bringing more friends when the proverbial "Zerg" is taking me apart.

Ciao

I pull a carbuncle most of the time. Die, come back, fight to death, die, come back.. etc

i agree with this .. awesome idea... the abount of states u get when ur being shot at from outside combat is unreal..
#36300167347 02/16/2007 02:30:07 Re:The Zerg and IL
what about states you get from deadly throw, will they be induced, I've been hit with deadly throw to only be Full Auto'd recently
#36300167396 02/16/2007 04:41:43 Re:The Zerg and IL
I'd really like to be able to boost defences in IL (which would reduce the number of states induced) but as accuracy and defense work differently to damage and resistance I dont see a way to do that without impacting on the relative effectiveness of the players actually in IL. Unless there is a mechanism in game to detect if damage come from within IL or without... I honestly doubt there is... raising resistance and damage is the only way to protect the IL'ers and keep the IL 1 on 1 aspect of it balanced.

Multi fighting would be the perfect way to increase that resistance.
