IMO this is a very serious problem undermining much of the enjoyment of pvp, as has been stated the low damage generated by the basic tactics means that as a battle draws to an end, when IS is inevitably low, the deciding factor is increasingly who has the biggest stash of healthpills....that is surely not a scenario anyone wants to see develop?

I would suggest a reuse timer in excess of 20 seconds would facilitate a reasonable balance ...

Actually if you read through the masses of threads asking for nerfs, non hostile players do form the majority...but in all cases it should be a matter of a measured response aimed at promoting a more involving and entertaining combat experience....most requested nerfs are over the top and knee jerk reactions...it has been my experience though that a number of fights recently have been decided on who has the largest stash of health pills and in the scheme of things I feel it undermines the overall enjoyment of any encounter, you talk of dealing high damage well at the end of a fight is is generally low and specials at a premium so we become reliant on the basic tactics and the rate of health regenerated has not been adjusted inproportion to the lesser damage dished out by the new system... a nominal pill timer would be a simple compromise (the time to be agreed in a reasonable fashion).

Its not a case of wanting the pills removed, but a review is needed of the degree and frequency of use of all healing abilities in line with the smaller amounts of damage that cr2 delivers outside of specials (it is the conclusion of a fight that the issue becomes so critical). The whole point of CR2 was to bring combat down to a balanced level, to reintroduce some degree of skill of execution rather than just a few uber builds etc. More and more heals are being spammed, fights getting more and more drawn out and less governed by what you do as opposed to what you have.... Like the neurodart the frequency of use of heals makes it very evident they are more influencial in combat than other aspects there is a balance issue that needs to be considered is all that is being said.

Since Vector-hostiles, merge there has been mainly zergs 'numbers meaning everything' Now in a 1v1 or even 1v2 in pvp i proberly wouldnt touch a pill depending on who it was etc. But i feel that the pills are like that for damm good reason... because without them how would meros and machines survive agaist the zergs! Spamming thems one thing that shouldnt be done but.. using them when you need em i guess is.. Overall i think the best thing you could do with is like most people are saying is just to increase the re-usage timer to stop the spamming, just making sure its not rediculaiously long lol

ehh...I don't like the timer on any external heals idea...its fun to fight an agent or something and have people healing you...but I still stick with what I said earlier, 5 or more seconds on the health pill timer would be good.

This is my thinking no way should Heals be able to be taken in consecutive rounds of combat
