Lol energak. Just lol.

In the other thread you complained about the sleepwalkers and demanded to stop this "silly event". I really thought you were serious, but if it was irony, it was quite a bad irony. It should be concludable from your text that it's irony, otherwise it's a failure.

We have an event with lots of content going on right now. Starting threads about lack of content in these days is just a brainlessly following a trend. Everyone posts how bad cr 2.0 is and how little content we have. Now you just come here and repeat it all.

You could argue that cr holded the developers from keeping track of content. However, I've played it and I should say that all the things that could be taken as demerits (like the manual or-else usage of upgrades or the UI change) are really too small to be pissed off and are really easy to get used to. Those who demonstratively call it a downgrade simply don't even try to understand anything and just want to achieve attention.

Also, you claimed the devs were to lazy to fix the old system. That was pretty thoughtless from you, because it's common sense that cr 2 required lots more work than a small fix. It was something that was planned from the early days on, and planned by professionals who partially also have developed the old system and they had their reasons for that. Calling the Devs idiots is a representative example of teenager arrogance (you go to college, right?). You sit their at home swoting your "stupid college" and think you could judge about professional game programmers just because you don't understand this change and because everyone else says that anyway.

I really don't know why I'm paying so much attention to you. After all, you just wanna have some fun while swoting for your college. And starting from that, you don't have to care about the quality of your posts, main thing you just annoy enough people or get rid of your frustration. I do comprehend it more or less(after all, I also go to school), but I find it stupid to go here and post crap. I wouldn't feel better if I did this, but if it makes you sleep better, continue whatever you think is right. If you have luck, you could even achieve the "jacked out of the matrix" rank, the supreme rank in this forum.

So Mods, please don't close or delete this thread so energak can enjoy his break from college right here and won't move to other threads or start new ones. Just a suggestions though, I'm not the one to make decisions around here SMILEY

peace

my thread about contested withdraw being comparable to *CENSORED* was closed. awww some of the 17 yr olds that play this game got all offended, silly boys who aint men yet arent adult enough to even discuss the concept. makes me sick. but its a legit point of view.
I really hope this part was sarcasm.
#35500000436 04/01/2006 11:01 Re: the downgrade to the matrix part 2

but yeah, im just a dumbass college kid who just likes to b as offensive as possible to as many as possible, so why should my thoughts matter right.

You claimed that yourself and behaved like that. The first posts I saw from you were simply crap, why did you post crap instead of something relatively mature and constructive like this one? If you play an idiot, you'll be treaten like one, because no one would know that you're in fact an atomic physicist (to use a cliché image) and just feel like posting something below your level. Keep this up and everything's gonna be ok.

However, I'd like to point you to a semantic error in your argumentation: The fact that CR 2.0 wasn't necessary (in your opinion) doesn't automatically mean it's a "downgrade", because that means this is actually worse than the old one. There are people who have different opinions about that and have good reasons for their opinions, and I'm not competent enough to judge about it professionally -- I just know the animations are way better (inspite of bugs).

I would still keep from calling the game developers idiots, because it's still really ignorant and arrogant (great rhyme by the way).

I'd say if you've done all mission contacts and PB boxes (from which at least the contacts are an important part of content), there might not be much to do -- city exploration and PvP, not much apart from that. And are you really able to complete all 15 crits within one hour whithout missing any important details? respect! "SMILEY

energak clearly has nothing better to do.. and its simple to see that.. he stands in the same exact place in mara and crys about the combat system and yet he NEVER fights EVER... I had a disscussion with him and basically he told me he is here because sony wont refund him his money and he has no life so he is gonna try to ruin the game for all the other players around and basically try to kill the game.. do not listen to him or pay any attention to him.. he is just craving attention on the computer since het cant get it else where.. let him post as many threads as he wants..

Didn't know that SMILEY

Still thought I should post a reply.

Well, after all the Devs are professional game programmers, good RPers and really great mission writers, so maybe call the idiots is a bit too much, even for an opinion.
However, I do appreciate your subjectiveness, and I guess that removes any reason to flame you because of your opinion. Some of your previous posts (especially in that other locked thread where 6 messages got deleted) were quite stupid though, but that's already history and I won't refer to that anymore "SMILEY
When I'm doing the crits I still think there are always some nice ideas in the whole scenario (like agents popping up, a (faked) real-time hunt for bombs, cellphone messages or whatever), but you don't have to like it. You know, it's just what I think SMILEY

There were a few Zion and Merovingian criticals where a group of level 255 agents popped up right after the "completion" of an objective. In the Merv ones, it was right after you had freed the Effectuator. They just popped up from nothing and kicked my *CENSORED*. That was a kinda cool idea, I think.

If you're referring to the city design, for me it's just the right balance between monotony and variety.

Although especially when doing the mission contacts, it was always a bit funny when they sent you to someones hideout or base and it was nothing but another office building.

Along new martial arts styles or melee weapons and some other stuff, the expansion of the city is one of those players hot desires that aren't feasible in foreseeable future. Especially now when they have to keep up the game the other way or other, designing all the new districts isn't feasible right now, so I don't expect it in any near future. But it would rock, I agree. (although the current four districts are far from being bad, too, so why not explore them along with pointless PvP? wouldn't make less sense at least "SMILEY )

And yea, the agent threat in restricted areas should be higher. Although I don't really have a problem with the current state.

Let me add, I find it ridiculous to attack anyone who states in every second sentence that it's only his own personal opinion he talks about and others may feel different.

Thats not an insult, thats an observation + friendly advice......
Sounds more like hypocrisy. You have to understand one thing: There isn't any rule that forces you to post only positive things. You're not forbidden to voice your negative opinions on the boards.
A typical scheme: One says "I don't like this", and the other one "well, then get the **** out of our game". That's just destructive and doesn't make any sense. Just a friendly advice.

From a dilettant's point of view (like mine), CR 2.0 is really easy. I'm already playing it as if it was there all the time.
