Not sure if it's all, but I know when you fight NPCs in Zero One, it still shows damage and damage absorbed..

Looks like damage absorbed is back everywhere.. not just constructs... also I took my level 20 in to battle tengu in yuki... i hit a good amount of times, but tengu wasn't taking any damage either...
