Geez, if it all boils down to the spy style being active then it may be time for a looping "Activate Spy Style" macro that sets your spy style every 15 seconds or so...

I've taken it off my hotbar for good until its fixed. Missing 3 out of 4 tries to use it isn't worth it for me.
