You are correct your stats no longer affect your crafting if they ever did... I would have to dig around to find that out. But it should be noted that your stats do not need to buff your crafting abilities as Signal Boosters and clothing quite adequately compensate for the higher level difficulties on level 50 apparel and weapons.

ell what we were getting before was level 24's able to craft lvl 50 abilities while at a booster, i know this has i had every ability crafted by myself by the time i was lvl 26...
this surely shouldn't be possible? not realistically
and i think the devs knew about this and lowered the ammount they buff us for.
