There seems to be a new power finisher for the Self Defense style where you're grabbing your opponent's throat with one hand and performing a few additional hits with the other. I've never seen that one before, so I guess it's a CR 2.0 feature.

Since I've hardly used Self Defense back then, here's question to those who have: Are there more finisher changes in the Self Defense style? Have any further been added or removed? Does that particular one now replace an old animation?

There's a grab one where you I think are supposed to pick the guy up and like spin him around and throw him down, but it never works right so your person just stands there while the bad guy spins around in the air hehe it looks funny ^^

This is most probably one of the Lupine abilities in a place it's not supposed to be. I've only experienced it in Self Defense about two times, but I'm sure it's exactly the same animation the victim of that Lupine attack performs.

theres also  the grab one where you do cartwheels, pick up the oppoent, and throw

Wasn't that an Aikido move? If yes, it's not new at all.

Well, it's not like you couldn't use Aikido at level 11 :smileywink:

However...

And i think the spinning one is aswell, and i've seen it work properly once lol (animation wise.)

Well, I'm pretty sure it's a misplaced Lupine attack -- that wouldn't be the only case with wrong animations: Guard Breaker often causes the wrong move, and the Lupines conceal some of their attacks as silver bullet shots. However, I'm not so sure... maybe both animations are just similiar.

It's just that it's not the standard way a broken grab finisher looks: Normally, the loser falls down to the ground, dead, and then the winner performs his attack in the air.

However, I think I now remember the new Speed finisher, either. Again, has any former Self Defense finisher been removed due to the new ones?

OK, before we continue, I'd like to adjust the name of my thread. Apparently, I had forgotten (or overlooked) the new Speed finisher, and maybe there's also a new grab finisher, who knows? Anyone mind if I change the message subject? You can always change it back later SMILEY

*changed*

Yea, let's start with that: Has the grab tactic also been enriched by a new move?
