Hostile EPN, Merovingian, Machine, and Cypherite forces terminated Corporal Leon with an EMCP device. He has been given a military funeral, with honors, for his tireless efforts on the behalf of Zion, and of his exiled comrades in arms.

This is only the latest tragedy in a steady campaign of harassment against my soldiers. I ask you, soldiers of Zion, to stand by my men, as they stand by you. We share common enemies, common goals, and common beliefs.

Surveillance scans of the scene of Corporal Leon's last transmission and death follow. Note well the faces of his killers. They are the foes of us all.

Corporal, you will not be forgotten.

Oh come now General, don't be so bitter. Shouldn't you be thanking us for casting out the weak programs in your employ? I will say that your little Corporal, if nothing else, was excellent at running from those stronger than him. I feel I have done a service to my superiors by help to corner this frightened exile, and bring him to his end.

Edit: ((Three cheers for the Cypherites.  Viraconrida's the one who finally killed Leon.))

How is this even possible, I thought they had backups. Or will he be rebooted?

Any day an ally of The General falls is a good one. My only regret is that I got there too late and had the priviledge of only viewing the corpse. Next time, I'll be on the front line.

End your war General, and those under your command need not fall.

Return to the source, your services are no longer needed in this world, and your quest to eradicate an enemy who does not exist is taking a toll on the lives that actually do exist.

Your words may have worked on Niobe, and I'll admit that you're powers of persuasion are powerful to those who are blinded by personal vendettas, however not all of Zion march under your war banner.

You would do well to remember that.

A life is a life (whether some deem it artificial is a debate for somewhere else) and to lose a life is a terrible thing, with our emergency jackout procedures and sense of invulnerability it can become all to easy to forget this.

Although I do not agree with the General or his policies, nor do I wish to follow Niobe in assisting him, but that doesn't make the death of a soldier a good thing.

For too long has survival meant elimination of competition. It has blackened our sky, cooled our core and pushed humanity and machine to the brink of extinction at various times. Cooperation means survival.

This does not mean that any one race must be subservient to any other. But rather we must work together.
