As the Merovingian's controller, I am constantly bombarded by petitions and requests from the peons below me. Usually, I just have someone throw these in the fire for me; you applaud my economy, no? However, once in a while I get an unusually amusing message. In the case of one I received recently--from our Vector liaison officer, addressed to the Merovingian--I see no reason not to share it with the rest of you, as a means of instruction.

Instruction in what? Must I spell everything out for you? Please.

The letter to the Merovingian ran as follows:

"My first month serving in command has proven quite exciting. Profitable. Pleasurable even. I have secured promise of allegiance from all your loyal captains. Our brethren are uniting behind me without difficulty. In fact, most are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to prove themselves in your name.

"The latest incursion of these raving Neo fanatics is barely worth notice. My brothers and sisters dispatched them with ease. They even offered me the opportunity to quench my thirst upon one. The initial tests of my code have exceeded expectations and I consider myself ready to try combat against the tin soldiers.

"I have had an abundance of parties to attend and no shortage of distractions. Training can be ever so boring. But my bodyguards, ininja and Tseng insist that I upgrade my code, and soon.

"I believe that one of our brethren insisted that I transmit this picture to you as a show of the support of your most loyal children.

"Oh, I must add, several of our operatives have discovered one by the name of the Watchmaker. He appears to be waiting for something, although we have as yet been unable to ascertain precisely what. We are still working to uncover his price. He would make a unique addition to the collection, no? Although it seems he has drawn the attention of some of the other, less friendly, residents of this world. I will see if he can perhaps be persuaded to consent to our protective custody.

"Loyally Yours,
Entropi"

Has a month gone by already? It seems like yesturday that the Merovingian introduced Entropi as the liason. She has grown quite powerful in the short time she has been here. And soon, those tin soldiers will be nothing but a petite appetizer.

Oh Flood, trying to pawn stuff off as your own again?

It's amusing that you put out this letter as if it was complete. Trying to cover up the flames from a disaster in the form of intercepted emails? The Merovingian is slipping in his old age...Entropi has made some big mistakes and soon those will backfire on her and you. I'm watching...its only a matter of time for there is a "why" that I possess that the merv does not.

This is not the full truth Zion, seek the answers because they are out there.

My goodness, Entropi.
That little sweet thing.  I wonder how long it will take, Bonopi.
Unfortunately, your Commandos aren't too friendly with us Machinists.  I have not received any orders to attack them, but I will defend myself if such a need is required.
But be sure, we will stay out of your way when the Merovingian's time is up.  Well, at least that is our plan at the current time.  Things can change quite rapidly.

((Where the heck is our liason?!?!  LoCross, I've never even seen the guy.  Can we get someone dedicated to the Machines?  PLEASE!?!?))

Congratulations to my factionmates ininja and Tseng.  We have decided to help her in her endeavors.

Flood, why don't you ask Entropi about her other letter directing you to our Communique To The Merovingian?  I know you don't speak French, but that's no reason to put it in the round file cabinet.  After all, there are parts of it that concern you.  Curious?  I thought so.  Perhaps your boss can translate it for you...

Merovingian operative's could not be more delighted with their new liason, Entropi has overseen a cosolidation of an ever more potent Merov force while our enemies disintigrate into pure chaos. Cypherites, Neo fanatics, a shaky alliance with some tin soldiers and we havent even come close to talking about Niobe's personal problems lol. Our powerbase feeds on such turmoil growing every passing day and this is only just the beginning :smileyvery-happy:

hmm disintigrate?
Maybe we wanted you and Entropi to think that...so that this could happen so easily and without resistance.

It's fitting that this is in a church...because it signals the funeral for Entropi.
Get used to that view Entropi, you'll be seeing it a lot more.

Wow, what skill it took for 20 level 50 Zions to attack a level 32 Mero while she was sitting down in a church pew.

Consider this when you're babysitting Niobe's level 10 nooblet Alsos....there's no way he's going to go over level 15.  He seems to much the scaredy-cat type, even with the Zerg to call upon.  I always see him shaking for some reason.

1)  That's not the whole church you see.

2)  Entropi stayed dead before auto-reconstructing for a good five minutes.  This was taken later.

3)  Let's say it was 8, it's still typical for Zion.  8 50's vs. a sitting 32.  What a proud org you have!

On Edit:

Of course Alsos didn't help.  God forbid he should turn his flag on and get pwnt!  lol
