well i was in international and found a trial player to play with and she told and showed me that she had a beta cap from QA and she didn't know how she had it... how is that possible?

people who played on the test server for a certain amount of time got the beta hat, so she probably did that and idnt realize that the hat was the reward for it.

But trial player? the trial came after QA was shut so theres no way she could have been on the server

Marketplace? I noticed there was a few Beta caps on Recursion and Syntax
Yeah just buy one or if you ask the right people theyl just give you one. Not that hard to get.

Every low level alt of mine got a beta cap and I didn't even transfer them to the QA server.
Yep tradeable and can be sold on marketplace, chances are thats how they got it.
What they did was see if you played more than (Whatever the time was) that they set and if they did they gave a beta cap to every character you had created at the time. So I have 4 or 5 beta caps on my account.

Beta Caps are Tradable, either someone sold/gave it to her or she bought it at th Marketplace.
If other MMO's are to go by these Beta Caps will be worth a hell lot of money, in a year or 2
It could also be that someone created a new character on QA whose name was later taken on one of the Live servers by this trial player. The beta caps were awarded to Live character names which matched the list of QA names with more than an hour of playtime. However, the QA server and the Live servers have two different authentication servers, so it's possible to claim a name on QA that's taken on Live (like "Void" for example).

I deleted my beta clothing on syntax a long time ago, because it was taking room in my inventory.
but then they implemented the email thing. 
I think it is really cool she has one .....and I don't care how she got it!...just glad she did.
