Okay, let's not start accessing the External Playtest server before it's ready, folks. Generally, if we don't make something available publicly, there's a reason. (Just waiting to see the flood of "My version isn't working!!!!111oneone" posts because someone logs on early. 
)
As far as "soon" goes, it looks like we'll be posting access information today for opening of the server tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 10). We want to get the access information out a bit early so everyone can patch as soon as possible.
Unless we find something broken today, things are looking good for tomorrow. Keep those fingers crossed.
