In-game emails will no longer be automatically deleted from the system. (If you can't see all of yours, it's because you are a pack rat and never delete your old emails.)

Just to clarify, does this mean that emails will *never* be automatically deleted from the system?  Not after 30 days, 1 year, 5 years, etc.?  Sorry, but I've been burned before. :smileymad:

   I take it you are also fixing the part when you have coder ability loaded and you use a gun and click on the martial arts to go into close combat the gun does not unload you have to put up the coder ability icon in your hot bar and click on it to change to martial arts.  but it also shows your gun in speed, power and grab, while your martial arts icon is flashing.  isn't martial arts suppose to be a melee ability and not a free fire.

I guess in the next one we will see the code infection fixes and the MS Exploit... ?


Still lots of fixes needed to the Spy Tree - hopefully too we will see Neuro Dart with a single timer and longer reuse time, and maybe even give like a 60 sec timer on Back Roll Escape... the perma-root and 90% chance of rollouts kinda make IL builds useless.

I am happy they lowered the damage on the suplex, I still believe it should not cause daze or stagg 100% of the time.....

Dunno if anybody knows this, but it never hurts to ask.  What was the DPS on Suplex before, and what is it now?

This sounds like a great hotfix...Zen Master also should be refundable.


However, I did notice while trying to transfer it between characters via email, that you couldn't for some reason.

Being able to sell abilities for the cost of leveling should have the double-edged benefit of making the Code Archive no longer too small... as you can now sell the trees you rarely use... and always recraft and relevel them if you need to.

Unfortunately there are no trees I "never" use. SMILEY

I transfered my Proxy and Utility Trees to my alt a long time ago to make space in the code storage. But now I would actually like to get them back since they are sort of fun again under CR2 - but since I know that then I have like 8 spots open for frags, bits and recipes I guess that won't be possible. Code storage needs to be increased - nuff said.

walrus is there any way you can keep the ability buying venors and the red frag drop like this a littel long maybe a week, its spring break for alot of users and i think having these two things happen during spring break is kinda trying to minimize the use of it. i for one will only be able to have two days to sell the abilities i dont want and farm for red frags to code the abilities i do want.
please if there is any way could you keep it for at least until next thursday, everyone please agree wiht this so maybe they will.

Its passive roukan, its applied when you have duelist ability on without the actual duelist upgrade buff.

The patch notes said the red frag drops will be increased until April 25th - which is like almsot 2 weeks from today and it didn't say anything about the vendors not buying back abilities after a certain date

the vendors buying the abilitys back for the proper ammount is a permanent  change.. it would make sense for them to pay the proper ammount...

they nerfed suplex it looks like... hopefully it onley does like 5 damage now SMILEY

Point taken - but you have to admit that there is something wrong when one of the most "crippling" abilities in the spy tree is one that you can get at like lvl 10. When Spies are around I get hit by more Neuro Darts than anything else....

Well - considering we were supposed to have a server restart on Tueday I think - and that was forgotten and then done on Wednesday I'd say it's a good possibility that the person in charge of applying the hotfix this morning (again) called in sick, was late to work - or was held captive in the bathroom by explosive diarrhea.

Weird. The Hotfix notes appear at launching, but the vendors still don't refund me the whole value of a leveled up ability, like Hyper Strength. I tried with each vendor available, but club wendors. Are we sure there's a hotfix online Walrus?

1 of 2 things must have happened.



1. There was an unexpected error with the patch and they didnt want to publish it yet.



or



2. There was another miscommunication and the people who were suppose
to release it thought it was going to be released another day.



There is the chance that they forgot too, but there is also a chance
that they waited the extra day to fix the code infection crap.

There was a problem deploying the Update 42 Hotfix this morning which resulted in the update not being applied to the game. The team is looking into the issue and we will attempt to deploy Update 42 Hotfix tomorrow morning, Friday, April 14.

Why haven't u fixed the stun bug?


When you die. Recon or rez and then come back. Some times you get stuck wit hte stun ability on you. You cant do anything. Nothing works. So you /suicide and the problems fixed.


That should be fixed. Its a huge problem. I almost missed out on a box 4 because of that bug.

Naw, some of the DPS of the IL Spy abils could be higher... but the bugged neuro dart with a short reuse timer and backroll escape with no timer and 90% effectiveness is not balance. Both should gave a 60 second timer.

The howitzer area radius is way too nerf. Now as someone who's been using the loadout since cr2 went live, I agree it did need to get nerfed, but not this nerfed. The radius is as big as it was before the patch when I didn't have Howitzer upgrade loaded. This nerf seems like a sick joke. It also seems as if the bonuses aren't being taken in correctly. I have a 23% area radius, and it's only going about 6m around the target, which is deafult.

I agree with the Sepster about the AOE nerf....while being able to take the whole of Stratford from the centre of the square was a tad excessive, but I think it's been reduced a little too much.  I'd like confirmation on the area radius bonus too - it would appear to make no difference to me.


I can see the flames already - "But you complained it was too big, now you complain it's too small!  Make your mind up!".  I only use Hacker for farming, and now that Miasma isn't a looped ability, luring lots of NPCs to one area to take them all out in one go is a pain in the arse now.


Top marks for the rest of the patch though...just my tuppence.

I agree with the previous posters, The AoE has been hit pretty hard with this hotfix.  Admittedly, it did need to be taken down a notch or two.  As it stands now tho, when using the Howlitzer upgrade (a 10% bonus) and the ability Range Booster (12% bonus) you would only see about a 2m increase on an ability that had a 10m AoE, right now, most are in the ballpark of 5m, so you would only see a 1m increase.  Seems a little low, when in the old system Range booster itself gave a 5m increase.

From what I have seen so far, It looks like the bonus % are not even being applied. With or without Howitzer upgrade and/or Range Booster, the Area Radius stays the same :smileyindifferent:

I'm going to agree with the radius buffs not working correctly. I did the test as well and saw no difference in the radius with and without. This nerf was excessive but at the same time the radius before was insane. It was like I ordered a Whopper before CR2.0, saw the Double Whopper in CR2.0, and then given a cheeseburger in the end.

I agree with the previous posters that the Howitzer/Artillerist area nerf was too much. It was really a blast the way it was.

With such liberal red frag drops I know it must be nerfed. However,

Well I`m gonna jump on the bandwagon also and say I too went hacker since cr2 went

 live and while the radius was very excessive and did need toned down just a tad,,

u toned it down way way way way too much,, for god sake,, 66%  (was 80%)

debuff radius bonus and your lucky if it does as previously stated in above posts

circle 6 to 10 metres round the target,, your radius should extend to at least the

distance u hav to be to cast on a target.


stop crapping on hackers,, we have it hard enuf without you further demising us,,

what will simply happen in the end is no one will play as hackers.. u might have

noticed if you pay attention almost every person in the matrix is now either ma/guns or spy.

 (cr2 the ma/gun/spy update)

IS regen is a joke, radius is a joke,, and hacker style u can do 1 damage

Further to this regarding the selling of abilities,, personally I`d say leave the

frags at the higher drop rate,, maybe turn it down just a little and remove the

 selling of abilities after a period of time once everyone has had a chance to

 see what they like.
