Like I said I don't think it's worth the time and effort required to create these 2 new districts. It so is.

We should bump this puppy to the top and propose ideas as to how they could do this. I for one would be willing to suffer through another story timeout to give us THE MATRIX. For as long as it took provided we were updated on progress at least once a month. Developement progress NOTHING else. This game is still a far cry from ANYONE'S expectations who have been here a conciderable amount of time. New players will eventually agree.
I was happy to hear a new quest was being put in until I saw what it was. Corruptor's are old recycled content. I've been there, done that. Why do I want a patcher item that is good after patcher gets nerfed? Even if it didn't get nerfed why have the item anyway? For what exactly? Those items themselves are old clothing repainted, not new. One less slot in our too small inventories.
Not to mention Giant Fly monsters randomly spawning in the city (story-wise) doesn't make sense. Put them in a construct or INSIDE one of the warehouses there not out in the open. MAKES NO SENSE.
Fresh, new MATRIX content. Having the Matrix in combat again would be very refreshing as well.
As much as I want fresh new content, I really don't see this happening any time in the foreseeable future. We're not even sure if the game would still even be alive by the time this is actually implemented, and most of the people that worked on the game didn't make it to the transition (i.e. laid off)
Can we have the judges score cards please....
10.....10......10.....10......10
I'm now going to read it from page 1 and nod sagely. I may cry a little.

There are alotta very talented people in here. I think we should go create our won MMORPG instead of waste our imaginations on this one anymore.
Title: It's My World Now.
Features: Exploration- Experience the most realistic urban environment of ANY MMO. The entire city, including every room of every building, will be in play. Go on foot, air, land or sea! All vehicles will be in play!
Innovative Combat: Defeat your enemies using devastating martial arts, gunplay and more! Experience multi-fighting and wire-fu including wall jumping!
Retain Character flexibility: Escape character regret. Reconfigure your character abilities and performance on demand.
Beta will last for this new game as long as it has to. The game will be released when it is ready and major bug free.
Upon gaining enough revenue a LET team will be put in place if it wasn't already since the really great advertising campaign did wonders for letting the world know our game was out there!
Developement will be monitered and developement news will be put into email updates for all our subscribers automatically. This allows us to eliminate forums as we want our players and developers in game not out! Our players will know what is coming and be updated often.
Any takers? We need a writer, some artists both traditional concept artist and game designers. The fellow that started this thread should hop on board too!

Summary: Eliminate rouge Joker Child gang members from Vaudville
The Magician: Hello there Operative _________. Yes I know your Alias, not just from the Machine's Person Database, but also from word of mouth of your past adventures in the Matrix. Your arrival is good news for me _______ because as of this moment, I need someone that is as professional as you right now, and weather that piece of data is conclusive, we shall see.
You may have encountered the Jokers Child from Nastratin? Nasty pieces of work arn't they? With nobody to offer balance to their programming, they overcompensate and bring chaos and destruction to anything that crosses them. While I am no opposite, I do believe in checks and balances and with some of The Fool's resurgence infiltrating this peaceful neighborhood I believe that the coming of said balance is overdue.
I have sent your Operator a location of a recent gang sighting, I would like you to investigate the area and conform or deny the report.
Operator: Wait, did he say a Machine Database? That is what the debugger looks like!? I mean, I have seen his work and I find it highly impressive but...wow, I am shocked. I thought every machine wore Ear Pieces and spoke like they sat of a sharp object. Ok, I uploaded the location to your Map. I hope things go over well.
The Player travels to a apartment complex in Vaudville. Apon entering the Operator chirps in.
Operator: I may have spoke too soon. Scans are picking up some exile activity and one disgruntled Copper Top. You might want to check that your gun is fully loaded for this one...you know, just in case.
The Player reaches his floor and meets a Blue Pill named Andrea Manson.
Andrea Manson: You must be friends of Mr. Wizard! Thank god you are hear, they cut the phone line to the police and just...started to live here. I came over to tend to the ruckus but they just kicked me out of my room. I am afraid to go back in. I think they have guns. What nerve to break into my apartment and just ruin stuff!
The Player enters the room and encounters Joker's Child gang members. Killing off most of them. One of the rooms contains a computer.
Computer:
A:\> irc.#joinHAHAHA.ISP=123.66.45.3
Pennywise: So the bases have been set up?
User: Yes flame head! We have surrounded Squeaky Clean Town with our members in Lill' Italy and Patterson. Harry Potter reject should not know what hit him in the nuts until its too late.
Pennywise: You wish you had flames *CENSORED*! How are the topography reports going?
User: Oooh, big words! We have sent a few Jokes and Gags in, telling them they will get girls and free liquor when they get back. Most of them are dead via the Wands. Guess they were too much "muggle" for-crap! I hear the door...and bullets!
Pennywise: Quick, tell *CENSORED* Head to kill the connection so we cannot be traced!
User: PM ASSHEADADMIN > *CENSORED* Head, torch this machine!
A:\>ASSHEADADMIN CODE=234567783942911111111111
CONNECTION TERMINATED. IP LOST.
Operator: Interesting. I hope piercings guy has a plan for this. Seriously, I cannot get over that that thing is a Machine!
The Player meets Andrea Manson before leaving.
Andrea Manson: Thank You so much for...MY FURNITURE! Why those bastards they ruined everything! Cigarette burns! ARRRG!!!
The Player leaves the building and The Magician calls The Player.
The Magician: Before you continue on I would like to clarify: Yes I am a Machine program. Surprised? You should not be, for if you are then this should teach you about pressing judgment onto things in the Matrix without investigation. Beneath the piercings, the exotic cloths, and the mage RSI shell I am a debug program for the system. My job is that of...alternative looks into the situation. Sometimes pursuing and following procedure causes more harm than good, hence were I come in. I suppose my visual nature reflects that.
Back on topic, your information proves to me that the Joker's Child are trying to infiltrate the area and are much more prepared than I thought. No matter, for I have gathered much information on the various gangs and organizations of the system. It is one of the ways I keep peace in this sector. I just so happen to know a main communications outpost for the Jokers Child, I keeped it around only for if it proved to be handy.
I believe that such handiness is now applicable.
Operator: New update location and objectives from The Magician. For a freaky looking person it sounds like he mean business!
The Player arrives at a seemingly abandon building, but the Operator reveals something under the surface.
Operator: Joker Child Exiles are s-swarming the s*ot. I-I-I thi*k th** a*e j-j-ami*g t** si*nel-
The Player breaches the compound are are filled with on guard Joker Child members. Electronic equipment is strewn about all behind locked doors to which the Joker Child guards the keys. After the last key is found, the communications room opens up.
*CENSORED* Head: Communications Line has been breached Boss! Send back up qui-ah *poop*!
The Player combats *CENSORED* Head who is not much of a fighter as he is a communications expert.
Operator: Good, that is the last of them. Search the machine quick before they send more!
The Player Searches the Machine.
Operator: Excellent! You managed to blow away the operator before he could purge the machine. Save all the data and remove the HD and send it to me stat!
The Player saves all the info on the computer and then removes the Communications Database HD from the computer and hopefully leaves before more Jokers Child start swarming in. After uploading said Hard Drive to the Hardline, The Magician calls the player in again.
The Magician: Ah, look what we have here. An entire list of every single operations base that the Joker Child has set up to cause damage to my zone. Good work ________, I will send some of my more combative programs to deal with them. You-wait-on second thought stick around for a bit. It seems that with all the men I can send, I am one strong man short. Since you seem to have the more adventure steak, I will promos to give you double than usual Operative _________ if you attack the main stronghold so I can squash such filth. Double or nothing, the choice is yours ________ to accept my offer or reject it.
Operator: An adventure streak huh? Attack the biggest base owned by the biggest *CENSORED* this side of the MegaCity and pay you double for it? I am starting to like this guy already!
The Player is pointed to a large flat complex in the City were scans show a odd sight.
Operator: Swarming with Jokers Child. This should be one hell of a fight....however the code seems odd. I cannot put my finger on it, but something in one of the object variables does not seem right. Put your caution foot forward first on this one ________, just in case.
The Player enters the first couple of rooms meeting strong resistance by Joker Child members. Each room is cleared out by The Player until after one empty hallway a door swings open.
Joker Child: *CENSORED* dudes get help! Something attacked-OH CRAP!
The Player defeats the badly injured Joker Child member and enters the room he came from. Dead bodies of Joker Child lie every were, the electronics broken, and a small fire on the couch illuminates the room.
Operator: What. The. *CENSORED*. A whole room full of exiles dead and it was not by you. How the hell-uh oh. Um....you know that odd bit of code I saw earlier? Well it is much more consistent now...and it is in the next room. I have no idea what it is but it is defiantly not human. Be careful for my sake.
The Player enters the next room and finds a Joker Child being finished off by an odd program. It is dressed in a Gi with Asian looking features and has flames emanating from it's body.
Unknown Program: Halt there opponent! You killed my father and now I will have my revenge! You cannot beat me for I have mastered the Man-Chu Fen style of Wu-Shu! Now fight you coward!
Operator: What the-DUCK!
The Player is assaulted by the Unknown Program. It seems to use lost CR2 version moves of the Zen Master style and slowly regenerates its health. After much fighting, the program is defeated and nothing is found on it's corps.
Operator: Whoa. That was...totally unreal. I mean it is the Matrix it is not suppose to be real but, wow. And here I thought with fly monsters, humanoid-looking Sentinels and female Agents that I had seen everything!
The Player leaves the location but not without one last call from The Magician.
The Magician: While we have seem to won this battle, it seems that we may have lost a war that has already started. AKA, the strange program you fraught. Who or what was it? Was it an Exile from the Machine City? Was it a rouge daemon from Zion or the Merovingian. And what was its reason for it's hostile behavior? Seems like we will not know, all I hope is that it was the last of it's kind. However, I still must say very impressive work Operative __________ and here is my promos. Double and everything!
If you somehow manage to see that program or a program like it, contact me as soon as possible ok?
:..>Initiative Investigation
Summary: Search for clues on rouge program epidemic.
The Magician: Ah, welcome back Operative _________, sight for sore eyes is an understatement.
Do you remember that very odd rouge program you fraught last time? Well, turns out that it was not the last of it's kind. On the contrary, it seems to be multiplying if you can believe that! My Vile Wands have been encountering that same program mutable time attacking the civilian population as well as other strange oddballs.
I am very vexed by this. I tend to leave no stone unturned and I will not have such chaos and....well filth in my neighborhood while I am still alive and functional! I now have a need to request for you Operative ________ with an even greater pay. I have sent that Operator of yours of a ground zero location that was attacked just over an hour ago. I would like you to help the investigation team there.
Operator: Hot stuff! I have been hearing about these random attacks over the news media networks. Creepy stuff. It makes more sense now that powerful programs such as the nut ball you faced last time are the cause of this. Lets see what kind of dirt we can dig up!
The Player is sent to a small apartment. A couch with fire burns sit in the corner as well as three human chalk outlines on the floor and one body bag. A small Mexican looking man is talking to a Police Officer nervously and a photographer is taking pictures. One Police Chief is pacing back and forth and another Police Officer inspects the player.
Police Officer: Hold it right there! Who are you, do you have authorization?
Police Chief: Let him go mac, this is the Inspector that Mr. Wizard sent. He's clean.
Police Officer: You sure, I do not trust him back. He is one of those Red Pill freaks.
Police Chief: You are going to trust him because I am your boss and I trust him, and I trust Mr. Wizard because anyone who could donate a Kidney for my son deserves to be respected!
Police Officer: *sigh* Yes sir.
The Player walks over to the Police Chief.
Police Chief: Well here's the lowdown to keep you up to date. It was a triple homicide, two kids below 16 and their mother of age 37. All three had fractures skulls, we cannot find trace of a weapon. The mother apparently retaliated back because we found one knife with a forging blood sample near her corps. We have sent that to the lab for testing. All the electrical equipment are shorted out, same like the last five cases. The only guy who saw witness this mess is the Janitor over there. You should talk to him about this. Shame. *CENSORED* shame. Who could have *CENSORED* done this, kill children!? Jesus Christ!
Operator: Shame indeed. Talk to Pablo, he may have more answers.
The Player talks to the panicked Pablo.
Pablo: So like I said, I heard some screaming and I came upstairs and this guy on fire ran out of the house like a bat out of hell. I put out the fire and called the police who are trying to pin it on me! I swear I did not do this, I will testify in court! This is racism!
Suddenly the Police Chief picks up his Walkie Talky.
Police Chief: Yes Officer....yes. Yes. Attack on Precinct 16, investigation team ambushed. Got it, will send back up.
Police Officer: Precinct 16-That is were Bill is! I have to get there before his *CENSORED* is grass.
Police Chief: No sir, you will stay here. Going there will be suicide.
Police Officer: Sir! I must leave. Bill is the reason why I am a police officer in the first place and I will not leave him there to die! You! Redpill. Are you with me or not?
Operator: I just got a call from The Magician, he says to take the Officer and come outside and get a good signal. He wants you to call him immediately. Point taken, he did not sound happy at all.
The Player leaves the area with the Police Officer and calls The Magician.
The Magician: Operative ________, things have sadly gone from bad to worse. Way worse. An out right battle between the Police Unit and the Unknown Programs have erupted and since you are the one closest to the place I am sending you to rectify the situation. Hurry before more life is lost!
The Player takes Bill to the Precinct 16 sector, a large Apartment Complex. The Police and Vile Wands are batting even more strange programs. The Unknown from last time is called a Karate Kid. There is are Cat Girl looking programs in sailor suits called Pretty Kats that use Kung Fu. Bearded Men in robes called Meta Mages who are Doctor programs and burly green Oger looking programs called Toll Beasts who use Akido.
Police Officer: What a mess! Look at these loonies, they are even batting things that are not there! Ok Red Pill, "__________", pick your shots!
The Player battles the Unknown Programs who shout out odd saying like "For Meglador" and "Meow! Give me back my comb you perv!" All while keeping the Police Officer alive.
Room after room this happens and two more unknown programs are found: Ninja looking ones called Kogas who are Knife Throwers and black pimp looking men called Wanksters who are good at using SMG's.
After all are dead, the Police Officer finds Bill on the floor.
Police Officer: Bill! Bill! What did they do to you. He, has a low pulse! Get an ambulance quick! Come on *CENSORED* do not die on me! You hear me Bill! Do not die on me man. Please do not die on me...no die...
Operator: I suggest you leave. We have done our part, all that is left is to morn.
The Player leaves the area and The Magician calls in.
The Magician: Human Life. Wasted. All dead. Sure they lived imaginary lives in a world that was not real...but they did lived lives and people left behind.
I am so vexed right now. I tried avoid such scum and wastefulness in Vaudville for so long, only to have the rug pulled out from me. What is worse is that I cannot understand the cause it, and if there is one thing that frustrates a magician the most it is not understanding the mechanics of a presented trick.
There is only one thing left I would like you to do. All the locations so far have had one thing in common: All the places have had there electrical equipment shorted out. A while ago we found an attack sight similar to this in which this was not the case. I would like you to investigate that area, see if my hunch that the electrical systems are causing the problem is valid or null.
Operator: Updated the location. This has gotten seriously out of hand fast has it not?
The Player reaches an abandoned apartment room that still has the "DO NOT CROSS" tape over it and two chalk outlines of a person on the floor.
Operator: Ok. Electrical Systems. Electrical Systems. Lest try the lights first!
The Player shuts the lights on and off.
Operator: No....that did not work. Try the TV next.
The Player turns on the TV and turns it off, but nothing happens.
Operator: Static. There is a computer in the adjacent room, try that.
The Player turns on the Computer in the next room and searches, but finds nothing.
Operator: Zip huh. Ok, try the Kitchen Phone. Maby they are using the Hardline network?
The Player checks the phone, it chirps in with a dial tone before a click that hangs it up.
Operator: *CENSORED* nothing! There has to be-ah ha! Why did I not notice it before! Look at that strange box over there. I never seen that before! Turn it on and see what happens.
The Player tuns on a box and with a loud hum the words "Metacortx Eon 3D PRESS START!" hover in the air with a computer voice saying "EON 3D, THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL!"
Operator: Whoa! That looks like a video game system but...it has holographic graphics? Cool beans, I wish I could play Mortal Kombat on the hologram machines but nooooo, we need to use it for scanning the tunnels! Ah well, lets investigate. Find the controller and press start. See what happens.
The Player finds the controller on the table and "Press Start". Two figures, the Karate Kid program and a horned devil looking program called Ibis warp in having the same glitch like the General's holograms.
Karate Kid: You killed my father and now I will have my revenge! You cannot beat me for I have learned the Man-Chu Fen style of Wu-Shu! Now fight you coward!
Ibis: Come with me back to the depths of hell! Pay me with your blood!
The words "READY...FIGHT!" appear in the air and the two holograms fight each other.
Operator: Amusing. Very amusing. That karate guy looks like one of the unknown programs we fought, the nut ball! But how the hell is this-
The entire room shakes and viral code spews every were. The two holograms become RSI's and the gunshots and attacks are happening in real time.
Operator: Holy *poop*...they solidified! How the hell did that happen!?!
One of the programs kills the other and then the surviving one combats the player. The Player kills that program and the Operator chimes back in.
Operator: So this is how they are coming in. This has to be one of the strangest things I have ever seen next to those Merv Twin things. Lets get the game box to bring back to The Magician.
The Player tries to grab the Eon 3D game box but sparks shoot out of it and it turns black.
Operator: Er...I guess that means a no. Rotten luck we have huh?
The Player leaves the room and The Magician calls the player back again.
The Magician: Amazing and important discovery you found, I had a feeling you would find order in this chaos. I understand it now, at least in theory. All the houses had these Video Game machines and they play video games with hologram 3D graphics. This is very much way ahead of current Human Pod tech, but a glitch seems to happens and the game characters become flesh and blood! Very interesting and fascinating concept. I need to contact Metacortex about this box they are selling, it is obviously very dangerous. Good work ________, I will make sure to hire you more often!
Darrius Wrote:

Summary: Apprehend a questionable device for study.
The Magician: Welcome back Operative __________. Simply reading the code of your RSI sooths me. You seem to be one of the better human contracts that I have worked with. I am glad you have come back to see me, I have more work for you.
I contacted Metacortex Industries but they claim they are only the intellectual property owners and not the manufactures, there fore I could not get a sample device for testing. They however mentioned that the game system is manufactured by a company in China called Xia Ding and imported into the city. The main importer: Bishop Imports.
Since sending an Agent would cause trouble and the Police cannot investigate without warrant, I plan on sending you to get one of these Eon 3D game boxes. I sent your Operator the locations of the next shipment. Intercept the delivery person and get the package!
Operator: Blip now on your map. This will be like taking candy from a baby. Hopefully that baby will not have a semi-automatic and knows Jujitsu.
The Player treks his way to a warehouse in the Mega City. Security is rough but not tight and after a few encounters the Security Team is no more.
Operator: Ok wait for it....wait for it....
Coming through one of the warehouse doors comes the Delivery Man.
Delivery Man: Hay guys, here comes the new shipment this is the first-GHAAAA!!!!
The Delivery Man drops the package on the floor and runs.
Delivery Man: I DUN WANT TO DIE!
Operator: Uh...well that was easy. Good job, I guess?
The Player picks up the Eon 3D Game Box package and walks out. The Magician contacts the player again.
The Magician: Excellent work Operative _________, we now have another sample. I have been using many operatives to send to my friend's labs sample Eon 3Ds for processing. Lab E8 is currently open and will be waiting your delivery. I am sure Mr. Bishop will not be crying over one failed delivery.
Operator: New location, lets drop this sucker off. And whatever you do not not turn it on and start playing!
The Player makes his way to this Lab E8 which is located in another warehouse in the MegaCity.
Inside there are scientist buzzing around looking at projects and the player sees the Chief Scientist.
Chief Scientist: Ah, I have seen you brought the sample. I will gladly take it from you.
The Player gives the Chief Scientist the Eon 3D Package.
Chief Scientist: Right, we will begin research right away. Strange the report your employer gave us, holograms becoming real. I mean, the Metacortex file says they use optic holograms, but even in the Matrix such things cannot just leap to life and be physical-
Researcher: Sir, we have a problem!
Chief Scientist: What?
The two converse and then the Chief Scientist address the player again.
Chief Scientist: Ah fiddlesticks. One of the other labs have accidentally activated the Eon 3D game machine and are now under attack by the simulacrum programs. I would call the cops, but Pepper is an Exile and with the Machines wanting her it would be out of hand. It would be nice if you could lend a hand in containing the outbreak.
Operator: Pepper!? The Magician is using Pepper!? What would he want with that Exile klutz?
The Player leaves the lab and The Magician calls back.
The Magician: Pepper is an illegal Exile sure, but unlike most who are destructive she actually has some real use. Pepper while outdated can manage to research very strong 100% correct results...just do not expect her to not goof up during the research phase. Hence why she is outdated. This outbreak would be one of those goof ups.
The scientist is right, sending an Agent will place it's prime directive with killing off Pepper and her team, ending all research that could have been found from the samples. I have no authority over them to command otherwise. Sadly you are going to have to go over there and clean house. After you tidy up the area, I want you to ask the research team what information have the uncovered so far.
Operator: Location set, lock and load. Time to kick more video game reject *CENSORED*!
The Player arrives at a bigger warehouse with a more complex office complex attached to it.
Inside are numerous Eon 3D game program attacking Scientist. The main ones are the Koga programs as well as two new ones: "Norises" who are cowboy looking programs that are good with Pistols and Shotguns, and "RBX" that are Master Chief-looking futuristic soldier that proficient in Rifles and Sniping.
After clearing all them out, the player then finds the Wounded Head Researcher who is holding his side.
Wounded Head Researcher: Thank you so much! I was afraid our distress signel would not make it. Trust me, Pepper does not pay us enough! What? The data. Well what we found was rather interseting. The main CPU is a six core Metacortex CPU with 3 gigs of RAM and a simple hardware nural network for AI. Not an inexpensive machine I'll tell ya. But there is more and this is were it gets interesting.
Compact into it is a smaller and simpler Code Compiler like you Red Pill's use to program objects. The "holoprojector" is actually a Program Launcher. What it does is it launches the compiled RSI that is made into the Matrix with the prime thinking done by the simple Neural Network following the game disk programming.
The problem lies with the simple Code Complier and the unstable sub-routines it uses to project such holographic RSI's. As you can see, the sub-routines have a 60% failure rate and will crash as a result due to them being poorly coded. As such, the Matrix then takes over and solidifies the RSI as an object. Since the RSI's programming comes from the game disk, they are not self aware aka they have no distinction between the video game and the Matrix worlds. Hence they treat us as game objects and do their programming...if that programming is combative then this is what causes all these problems with the Matrix.
I think this lab has seen enough for tonight. I am going to hang out in our construct to patch up, I think Lab E8 will take it up from here. God my back hurts!
The Player leaves and The Magician calls back.
The Magician: Well this has been an eventful and enlightening day for me. It is very interesting how the Matrix tries to assimilate things, is it not? When the game programming cannot suppress the Matrix protocols of object function, the Matrix simply dose what it does best: Try to describe the program into physical terms that humans can understand. Sadly when done in such a crude way, chaos takes over and at its worse lives are lost. That is were the fascination ends.
Very impressive work Operative _________! I believe I would have not comprehended the nature of this problem if you were not there to help along the way. In this case, I am indebted to you and not the other way around. Do not get too cocky though, this is not over yet. Not by a long shot!
:..>Skeleton Closet
Summary: Bring parties at fault to justice.
The Magician: Ah, Operative _________! The best in my book. Good timing in coming back to check up on this. I am done researching, I now have conclusive evidence to bring the people responsible for this into the fold.
Remember Lab E8? They managed to dissect the individual parts that make up the Eon 3D game box. Now, I constantly wondered, what company would have enough knowledge of the Matrix to create a tool that could create RSI holograms, but be stupid enough to not test for flaws and sell them into a Blue Pill market?
Well we traced the Matrix interface parts back to the parent company: Wright Research. To inform you or perhaps re-inform you, the Exile of the Elementals named Silver heads that company and nothing in that company passes by without his say in it.
Of course Metacortex is equally at fault for buying faulty hardware without further testing. I managed to hold a meeting and Metacortex accepted, but Silver rudely declined. Sadly he is simply ignoring that his product has caused 16 homicides and major property damage with injury in Vaudville alone. He is technically a criminal at this point and after submitting to The World I have a warrant for his arrest.
Time is against my plans, so I cannot say more right now until later. I have sent your Operator the location to one of my Vile Wand outposts in Vauxton. Go there, get some 'Wands and supplies, then I will give you the rest of the details. Make haste!
Operator: Best Operative? Hay, I am the operator that ASSISTED the best operative! Ah well, at least this will be another action time. No medal for me. I envy you __________.
The Player arrives at the Vile Wand's Outpost. They are a friendly bunch who are repairing objects and coding glitched walls. Talk to any of them and they may give send you and Upgrade Boost to your RSI.
After many racks of guns and devices, you reach Burton the leader of the bunch.
Burton: Welcome to our compound. I would shake your had but...no offense to you but you do not have the cleanest hands per say. Anyhow, The Magician has said much praise about you, so I trust in you to lead my men and women into combat an lead them well. Take four and any weapons and or equipment you need to get the job done. I wish you good luck.
The Player takes four Vile Wands: A Force Multiply, Trauma Surgon, a Network Hacker and a Howitzer. The Magician calls in again once the player leaves to give the details.
The Magician: Now before you leave, let me quickly tell you a little antidote about my programming method. Normal procedure, aka The Worlds way would be to sick Agents and SWAT onto Wright Research until they apprehend him. However, it would be a waste of time and efficiently with the potential for more fatalities than normal. The Freeway is a good example of that.
While others would just like to put there strongest and the most upfront way, I go for another path. Remember, alternative nature, the most simple and necessary steps to get the job done. Fewer lines of code with maximum efficiency. This is why I am still operational today.
I have convinced The World that sending in my best operative, you ________ and a few of my Vile Wands will be more than enough to bring Silver into custody. However, just as a warning, this does not mean that attempting such of thing will be easy. On the contrary, this will be difficult but I am confident that you can bring in Silver. Justice will prevail and I will see to it with you as my best foot forward.
Operative: I cannot believe it. We are going to go in and arrest the "meat-bag" hating Silver. I cannot wait to see his prim face when we barge into his office guns blazing. I also wish you luck because you are going to need a lot of it and a but load of skill.
The Player heads to the White Research center and after getting past all the guards (with hopefully all the Vile Wands in tact, you only need one to succeed but lose all and fail) enters the Elevator to head to Silver's Office.
Operator: Top Floor, Silvers Office. I sense a mass amount of Security Forces not only on his level but on all floors. I sure hope you or one of the Vile Wands have a plan to deal with this.
The Player exists the Elevator and is greeted by the clerk.
Office Clerk: Hello do you have an appointment for today sir?
Vile Wand: Sleep now dear...
The Clerk falls asleep immediately as at least one of the Vile Wands heads to the Elevator Doors.
Vile Wand: I jinxed the coding of the elevator, it will not budge from this floor level until we say so. This will keep the rest of them down there. Hmm, I will admit one thing, at least this place is clean.
Suddenly a group of Security Guards appear and Danielle Wright shows up with the group.
Danielle Wright: So there, you have come with a small army thinking you will take the boss?
Security Captain: Miss, I still have no idea what you are talkin' about, there is only _______ I have no idea were you are getting this army thing fro-
Danielle Wright: Shut up stupid! *sigh* Clever, Blue Pills cannot see them then. Ah well, all it will be is a spray and clean up on Floor 28. Kill them.
The Security Guards will try to attack the player but the Vile Wands will upgrade/heal the Player and viral handy cap the Security Team making them weak.
Security Captain: What the hell!? I feel so dizzy, what the hell is happening to us!?
When the last Security Team member falls Danielle Wright fires a few shots from a Handgun and hides behind the two double doors.
Danielle Wright: Get away you nasty looking freak __________!
Vile Wand: How human, she forgot to lock the door.
The Player and his team of Vile Wands pass the Double Doors into Silver's Office.
Silver: What the hell is going on here meat bagtrette!?!
Danielle Wright: They broke through-ugg!
The Vile Wands viral attack her until she is rendered useless.
Silver: What is the meaning of this!?
Vile Wand: You are under arrest for selling lethal and untested protocols for civilian use.
Silver: You and the meat bag have no right! You are not cops, you cannot do this to me!
Vile Wand: All us 'Wands are commissioned by the MegaCity Police as undercover cops, albeit ones that cannot be seen. You will come to your summons set up by The Magician exile, weather you like it or not.
Sliver: Scum! The Merovingian will never stand for this, I am valuable to him! When he gets a hold of you, you pointy hat punks will be luck if-
Vile Wand: God Shut Up!
The Vile Wand kicks Sliver and hand cuffs him.
As the Player leaves with Silver and the Vile Wands, they activate the elevator and find Dire Lupines inside.
Dire Lupines: We are going to pound yo-
Vile Wand: You hurt us, Silver dies. Understand?
Dire Lupines: Er, understandable.
Silver: Wha-COWARDS! USELESS *CENSORED* COWARDS!
The Player leads Silver in tow with the Vile Wands and The Magician calls in.
The Magician: Most excilent! I am thrilled that my plan has worked! Now we must take him to the place meting. Do not worry, it is near by. Be careful of the gangs in Downtown though, they have very nasty habbits.
Operator: YES! Us One, Silver Zero. Guess Silver now knows what it is now like to be on the *CENSORED* end of the sticks huh?
The Player carefully leads Silver and the Vile Wands to the building nearby. On the floor there is The Magician and Mr. Rineheart of the Metacortex company.
Vile Wand: As you can see, we have Silver in our possession.
The Magician: Spot on work guys, and it is nice to see you again Operative _______, alas with some battle waryness.
Mr. Rineheart: Ok, lets get this thing done quick, I have lunch in a half hour.
Silver: God I do not deserve this...
The Magician: Oh do you? Tell me, were did you get those faulty sub-routines!?
Silver: From the only place that every faulty thing comes from, The Machine City. New RSI codes. You also lie, I did test them but I figure the risk was worth taking.
The Magician: So you knowingly sold faulty sub-routines to pod people even though they were dangerous!
Silver: I only did some preliminary test, I had no idea that solidification would happen! That and I did not knowingly did it, it was a business deal, pure profit.
The Magician: CHILDREN, COPS AND PROGRAMS DIED HORRIBLE DEATHS....so you could have your *CENSORED* profits.
Silver: I-I-
The Magician: Forget profits for a second, you know you have murder charges against you. You know how long they will send you to a "meat-bag" jail for this, eh Silver? And you Mr. Rindheart, why did you buy something without testing it?
Mr. Rineheart: We thought they came from a trusted company, so we never thought to double check. Obviously we were mistaken.
The Magician: I am sick of both of you. I think it is time for the authorities to handle the rest of this.
The Magician takes out his cell phone.
The Magician: World. Remember how you said you wanted to have Silver's head on a pike? Well I do not have it on a pike but I do have Silver. That and we need some investigation into the Metacortex building. Send Agents now? Of course sir. Oh, and you are welcome sir.
He hangs up.
The Magician: It would be wise to leave now Operative _________, I do not think Agents would take too fondly seeing a Red Pill here.
The Player leaves before Agents can spawn in but not before one final phone call.
The Magician: As of now, I have to figure out how to finish solve this problem. There are still thousands, possibly tens of thousands of Eon 3D boxes out there still being used and they need to be stopped. Hold onto your hat Operative _________, I may need your help for one last time. Once again, Thank You for your helping hands.
:..>Count Zero
Summary: Purge rouge program epidemic via computer network.
The Magician: Remember that one last time? Well, this is it. This is the end of this and if not then please send me to the Source for reconstruction.
Here is the low down now. Sadly, Metacortex has denied recalling back the Epon 3D boxes even though they have stopped sales. They claim that shipping had nothing to do with them and they are being brought into court but...court cases take months and even years to settle out. With a corporation as big as Metacortex, we could be seeing more harm as the Eon 3D is passed around and possibly even hacked to make it more deadly than it already is.
Naturally, the Machines have looked to me once again to provide an alternate solution. Here is what I have come up with. According to the Press Release: All Eon 3D Game Systems are instantly equipped with Wi-Fi Access and are constantly connected to the Metacortex GameZone Network.
I have studied the Eon 3D with the help of Lab E8 and have coded a virus of my own design. This will not only deactivate a Eon 3D, but will erase any data on it and the account of the mainframe it is connected too on the network. The key is, it needs to be inserted into the core server to spread to all of the Eon 3D. If we do this we have shut them all down and no harm will come from those boxes again.
Our Agents need to tend to more important needs of the system, so I requested sending my best AKA you Operative _________ to insert the Virus into the Core Server in Metacortex. Now, you will not be welcomed by security so make sure to load your best programs and equip yourself with the best weapons. When you are ready, go to one of my Vile Wand outpost in Morrell to get the virus and then it will be off to Metacortex to finish this.
Operator: Outpost located and mapped. God I cannot wait for this whole shin-dig to be over!
The Player travels to Downtown in Morrell to the other Vile Wand Outpost. It is similar to the other Outpost but there are lest Vile Wands operating here. Inside instead of Burton, the Player find Granger.
Granger: Yea, boss is not here. He did however leave you with some notes. In the safe there is The Magician's virus for you to plant. You can take two of his men and that is all he wrote _________.
The Player takes the Zero Virus out of the safe and optionally two of the Vile Wands: A Physician and a Ballista as backup.
The Player leaves and The Magician calls again.
The Magician: Hurry, the less time we waste the more potential lives we can save!
Operator: Put a way point for the Metacortex building just incase you forgot were the big *CENSORED* building is.
The Player rushes past Plaza Security of the Metacortex building (unless the player is a high enough level) and hits the button for Floor 303. However, it stops and the Operator calls in.
Operator: Crap! Security forced the elevator to stop at Floor 101. They do not have a emergency stare system so you will need to find someone who can get the elevator running on this floor.
The Player exits the elevator and explores the office space of Floor 101 with panicked office workers and Security forces attacking. When reaching a floor of cubicles the Operator chimes in:
Operator: Hay, this is the same floor Neo worked at! I wonder if you can find his desk if it exist anymore. Nothing is more creepy than a dead man's cubicle huh?
The Player ends up exploring more of the large floor until the Janitor Engineer is found.
Janitor Engineer: Terrorist! What do you want? Can I over ride the elevator, yes I can. Anything as long as you do not shoot me sir!
The Player leads the Janitor Engineer back to the elevator and inside.
Janitor Engineer: Ok, just give me a minute ok? I am a bit rusty on this.
The Janitor engineer fixes the elevator and the Operator chimes in.
Operator: Good job _______! Get to Floor 303 in a hurry! I will guide you from there.
Vile Wand: I sense the room is heavily guarded.
Janitor Engineer: Who the hell are you talking to?
The Player reaches Floor 303, a floor that is filled with computers and admin's.
Operator: Ok, find the main admin and have him direct you to the Core Router.
The Player finds the Lead Admin.
Lead Admin: *poop*, Core Router. Yes sir with gun, you do not have to tell me twice!
The Lead Admin lead you to a large mainframe next to the computer.
Operator: Ok, have him give you head Admin access and then program the router to hit every Eon 3D machine in the network. Then upload the virus and get the hell out of doge!
The Player talks to the Lead Admin.
Lead Admin: Head Admin status, you go it boss!
The Lead Admin types in a few commands.
Lead Admin: All set, do what the hell you want! Anything to save my skin!
The Player then searches the machine accessing all the Eon 3D machines on the network, then The Player uploads the virus into the mainframe and checks the computer.
Operator: Success! Now here comes the getting out of doge part! Security is heading your way, possibly the Police after that. RUN!
The Player fights his way through the Security force spanning Floor 303 and then runs out of the Metacortex building.
Operator: YEA! WE KICK *CENSORED*!!
For the last time, The Magician calls The Player.
The Magician: Hello there Operative __________. I just wanted to chime in telling you how much of a success this was. That, and that this whole plan would have been a failure without one important piece of it: You Operative _________. You have done more for The Matrix and the well being of others than most Red Pills I have encountered and I commemorate you on that.
Remember, sometimes the alternative solution is the best one. Rare for a machine program, I will be forever indebted to you and your services that you have provided me. Now my Vile Wands, if you come in with contraband, will not take lightly with you visiting Vaudville. I have no control over that. However, I myself, The Magician will remember you __________ for years to come. If you ever need help, just stop by Vaudville and ask for Mr. Wizard. People their will gladly point you in the right direction from there. Take care, and good luck in your endeavors within the Matrix. I pray that they will be legal from now on.

Lol - definitely a neighborhood in my area...
But yes, this entire post is amazing. It's innovative, brilliant, and embodies everything that I'd ever have hoped for in this game. I think we all have a solid grasp on the sad place that this MMO is going to end up, but if by some act of god SOE decides to give MxO some more funding, I fully advocate the entire concept.
I thought that while you guys are waiting (man drawing this stuff is hard) I thought I would post this since I have the list already.
Someone also wanted to know the building types and placements. While the placements you can read about and view on the map (until I get the drawings out) I can describe further with smilies the type of buildings found in each area.

I know, the drawings and The Hanged Man arch is taking forever. One more in between update before I actually get off my duff and move on.
Enemy Rank Profiles
::The Jokers Child::
Description
The Jokers Child is a dangerous prankster group that has recently arrived to claim Nastatain as it's turf. The higher up members are decedents from the main Power Plant routing program that failed the Machine Civilization while the lower rung members are made up of the local disgruntled youth.
Skills
All Three Martial Arts Trees, All Three Ballistics Trees, Virology Branch, Assassin Branch
Joke ^
:..>Jokes are local coppertops that have survived the hazing ritual. They are basic scouts that just report to others when things happen in the neighborhood.
Gag ^^)
:..>Gags are blue pill members of the gang that have mastered the art of basic pranking. A favorite is leaving a bag on excrement that is on fire at the doorstep of an unlucky individual.
Prankster ^^
:..>Pranksters are Gags that can figure out more complicated shenanigans and also double as the main turf guards for the town areas.
Knock-Knock ^^
:..>Knock-Knock's are Jokers who go from door to door to harass the locals into doing what they want. Normally they acquire this though being annoying or by force.
Harliquin ^^^)
:..>Harliquin's are masters at lock picking and use their skills to jack cars to preform drive-by shootings or hit and run incidents.
Clownboy ^^
:..>Clownboys are infamous for shouting out some sort of nonsensical antidote and if the person cannot come up with a snappy answer they proceed to put a bullet in the victims' head.
Running-Gag ^^
:..>Running-Gags are leftover sub-routines of data management programs. They ease drop on communication channels in the Matrix and relay them to the core program-The Fool.
Aristocrat ^^^)
:..>Aristocrats are parts of the core program that was fragmented when escaping from the Machine City. Due to the corruption of their code they have become highly unstable and are very dangerous to be around.
Gang Boss "Pennywise" ^^^
:..>Pennywise is the header file to The Fool and therefore his counter part. Having a huge list a crimes stacked against him from *CENSORED* to arson, he hides in the back alleys to avoid the Feds and Agent programs. Just like his master, his code causes fluctuations in even the simplest equations and should be avoided at all cost.
::Vile Wands::
Description
The Vile Wands are subroutines created by The Magician deeming them as an alternative and more combat oriented solution to the normal Cleaner program. Invisible to Blue Pill eyes, they maintain the code behind the illusion that is the Matrix as well as dispel anything that is "unclean".
Skills
Aikido, Ballista Branch, Network Hacker Branch, Force Multiplier Branch, Proxy Coder Branch
Assistant ^
:..>Assistant's are proxies that boost the work efficiency in other programs of it's type to repair badly written code or rewrite old code in the system.
Wand ^^
:..>Wands are the main workers in the programming network, using their own created viruses to disable other hostile programs so they can be disposed of properly.
Presto ^^
:..>Presto subroutines are known for being the fastest patchers in the Matrix, editing badly damaged code in what seems to be a blink of an eye.
Abra ^
:..>Abra programs specialize in processing code from the buffer flows so that they may be turned into new pure code that can be overwritten.
Kedabra ^^
:..>Kedabra's are the backup programs used when Wand's fail. They have much greater knowledge of how to create malicious code to counter very hostile entities in the system.
Alakazam ^^
:..>Alakazams are specialized in creating new network pathways in case old network systems fail or if new pathways can be erected to route data more efficiently.
Hokus ^^
:..>Hokus are by designed to be very fast at debugging large amounts of code, quickly analyzing weak points in even the most well built programs. Coupled with added knowledge of how to create viruses and trojans makes these routines very deadly.
Pokus ^^^
:..>Pokus have two roles in the system. One is they act as sub-management programs that deal with gathering data of how efficiently the other Wands are doing. The other is a emergency last line in defense against high level threats such as massive data overflows and harmful viral programs. These things are designed to take such dangers out of the equation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Gang Boss "Burton" ^^^
:..>Burton is a personal name giving to this program for easier identification from the other Wands. Burton's main function in the system is to be used as a command substitute in the absence of The Magician. While not as smart or as tough as his programmer, Burton is highly efficient and will get actively involved in anything posing a threat to Vaudville. Beware, he is devilishly clever at hacking the Matrix and will use it's routines against you!
::Beatniks::

Skills
Aikido Branch, Karate Branch, Handgun Branch, Upgrade Master, Awakened Abilities

Gang Boss "Hoffman" ^^^
:..>The guitar wielding Hoffman is a woman with a very contrived past. Nobody knows her full legal name because she erased all records of it when trying to avoid the authorities. Rumor has it that on a quest for truth in her youth, she was given a concoction by an Asian monk and when she looked at her pet black cat she saw it was a spy camera for the New World Order. Now she manufactures the same sort of mixture to help others wake up. Rumor has it that she can supposedly "walk between both worlds". Weather this makes her a Redpill is up for debate, but is most likely not since she still has the same signal reading of a Blue Pill.

A noted tactic from Boomers are using high powered rifles to hit distance targets and then switching to Shotguns when the target comes in close range.
Gang Boss "Charlie" ^^^
:..>Charlie is the Chief Officer of the Talkies and maintains them with the strut of a football coach. Famous Hollywood starlet Cheena Turner had picked him as the leader when he was once a pick pocketing member of the Crossbones. As the head of the Mile High Club, he both enjoys his wealth as well as engaging worthy opponents in combat. He claims that he knows his skills from wrestling with an "angel". After Cujo was deleted, Faustulus did not believe his wife Ookami should lead and broke away finding a bonding with The Moon. Ookami while not fully trusting him still keeps him around because he is still the military arm of the Doberman programs. He prays and works out daily, carrying around a sword at his side. The reason is for his favorite sport of Bullfighting, which he says helps him to practice stabbing the digital hearts of Vamp programs that he abhors so deeply.

::The Hanged Man -- Contact Missions::
:..>Rebirth
Summary: Test the limits of The Hanged Man’s powers.
The Hanged Man: Why hello there young traveler! You must have exhausted yourself to get up to this cold place, high up in the tower. I would not like to waste your time, as time is one of the most precious commodities in the Matrix.
I take by your code that you go by the name _______. Ah, you might be wondering how I can read your code without a compile tool? Well, that is one of the many things I discovered when coming up here myself. Back then, I use to be a cold and oblivious program but now ________....now I have changed. Something has changed.
There is one problem though. Appearances in the simulation are deceiving, so while I might seem to have changed this may just be a illusion of perception on my part. That is why it is nice to get a second hand view. From someone in the Matrix. Someone like you.
If you could be so kind, I would like you to test what I have learned while living up here. I promos I will pay you for the amount of time I have taken from you. Thank you.
Operator: Hmmm, this is tricky. As this guy just said...appearances can be deceiving. I have no idea if we can fully trust him, but I can find you a small area for this guy and you to toy around in. I put it on your map.
The Player is sent to a neat small apartment complex were one of the rooms is vacant. The Hanged Man calls the Player back.
The Hanged Man: Ok, now that you and me have this space lets do this. So first thing is that I need to get a lock onto your RSI. I am going to search around now. Searching. Searching. Hmmmm. I have a stronger signal in the other room. Could you place relocate yourself to said spot?
The Player walks over to the next empty room.
The Hanged Man: Better. Much better. I have a lock on you, now I just need to access your RSI and its configuration. Lets see, accessing code right-
The Player gets 50 Health knocked out of him.
Operator: CHICKEN *poop* SON OF A *CENSORED*!!! Are you all right? I just spilled some fluid looking at your heart monitor jump! What the hell is this guy doing!?!
The Hanged Man: Oops. Sorry about that _______! Really I am! Turns out RSIs are slightly more complicated than I thought they were. I do have access to your RSI now, really I do! So to make it up to you, I will repair the damage that I have inflicted on you. You just have some obfuscacted code, no too complicated. Let me see...
After a few second, the Player is patched up to full health and his Max Health has increased by 100.
Operator: Whoa!
The Hanged Man: Ok, your all patched up now. Your body systems are simple enough but I also believe I have access to your Inventory pockets. Make sure you have one space open and go back to the other room to see if I can send something directly to it.
The Player moves to the next room.
The Hanged Man: Ok, lock in on memory space. Finding object and...sending...done! Check your pockets, hopefully the person I pawned it from will not miss it.
The Player checks his pockets and finds Dentures.
Operator: Ew gross! I do NOT want to know who or were this guy got those from!
The Hanged Man: I am sorry but that is the only object nearby I could find to teleport to you. I also want to see if I can teleport said object from one location to the other. If you could, please put the dentures in the closet near by and I will see if I can move them to the bedside drawer in the next room.
The Player puts the Dentures in the closet.
The Hanged Man: Ok, you might hear a loud noise when I do this.
There is a loud POP sound with a flash coming from the closet.
The Hanged Man: Done. Go to the next room to see if it worked.
The Player enters the next room and when checking the bedside drawer the dentures are located there while the closet is empty.
The Hanged Man: There it worked! Hmmm, you know what I have been thinking? I wonder if I can teleport an RSI from one location to another? Hmmmm-
Operator: I-I do not think that is a wise idea! You do not want only your torso to warp and leave your *CENSORED* behind now would you?
The Hanged Man: Oh! On second thought, I have an idea for another test! Leave the room and I will tell you more outside.
Operator: Phew! That was close! There is just something about that guy that I do not trust...
The Player leaves the building and The Hanged Man calls back.
The Hanged Man: While attending to you I managed to pick up a local radio signal. Turns out the police are having a problem with a couple of bank robbers. This would be a perfect and more intense test of my code manipulation skills! I think with some hacking here and there, I can assist you in shutting down the entire theft operation! I sent your Operator the broadcast location of the radio signal. Good luck ______!
Operator: On second thought, getting split in half might be not such a bad idea. Combat? This guy almost killed you hacking into your RSI and now he wants you to stop a bunch of gun wielding bank robbers. He must either be really smart or really dumb...I am kind of leaning on the later. Anyhow, I sent you the location he gave me. If you want to try to get yourself killed, thats your choice ______.
The Players makes his way to the spotless local bank. Lining the hallways are bodies of civilians and bank guards. In one of the hallways, a Bank Robber with a shotgun encounters the player.
Bank Robber: HOLD IT THERE! PUT YOUR WEAPON DOWN AND GET DOWN ON THE GROUND! DON'T THINK I WON'T *CENSORED* SHOOT YOU!
The player combats the Bank Robber and defeats him. The entire place has 8 bank robbers, all of them carrying guns. The good thing is that The Hanged Man will patch and upgrade the Player as he makes it around the bank.
Operator: Huh. I guess The Hanged Man has better programming skills than I thought. Anyhow, the last guys are in the Vault were all the dough is. You need to pawn the Vault Access Key off one of the dead felons.
The Player finds the Vault Access Key off one one of the dead Bank Robbers and unlocks the room to the vault. Money lines the halls as well as three Bank Robbers and the Bank Staff that they are holding hostage.
Bank Robber: That is the last-*poop*!
The Player defeats the Bank Robbers.
Operator: Yes finally its over. Get out of their so I can call-*poop*! An Agent-
A Agent takes over one of the Bank Tellers and points his gun at the Player.
Agent White: Mr. ______, you are under arrest. Please refrain from any hostile or questionable activity henceforth. You have not only illegally tampered with the system but you have also jeopardized civilians. I strongly suggest that you follow me to the nearest detainment center for investigation, or else I will have to resort to more hostile measures. And we do not want that now do we Mr. _______.
Operator: *poop* man. *poop*. *poop*. *poop*! There is nothing I can really do at this point kid, you are on your own. I knew that this was going to be more trouble than it is worth. Your going to have to do what he says man. God *CENSORED* it!
If the Player runs the Agent will kill him and fail the mission. The Player must put the Agent in his escort list and exit the building.
The Hanged Man: Oh no! I cannot believe an Agent dropped into this! I cannot say sorry enough. I also cannot do anything to the Agent, he is too hard to get a lock on. I promos I will come up with something to get you out of this if this is the last thing I can do!
Agent White: We programmed the general location of the detainment center into your GPS system. I will escort you to that location and I also suggest Mr. _______ to not to do anything illegal or unwise. My protocol states I will have to deal with you via force if you do so.
The Player makes his way to a government controlled building.
Operator: ______ h-aaaaay. W-hat *s g*in* onnn? C*aaaaaa-
Agent White: Do not even bother with your cell phone Mr. ______. We have a device that blocks cellular signals so you cannot cheat your way out of your predicament.
Inside the spotless and bare rooms are Regime troops moving about. The Player makes it to the far end of the room.
Agent White: Your superiors have been notified that you have violated the Truce agreement. We will be moving you to a Machine Construct shortly for questioning. Officer Mathew?
A Regime troop enters the room.
Officer Mathew: Yes sir!
Agent White: Prepare the serum and bring it to me.
Officer Mathew: Right away sir!
The officer leaves the room but after a few moments the Player hears someone...
The Hanged Man: Hello their? Can you hear me ______? Yes, remember that I can control your RSI systems so here I am in your head. I am so sorry I got you into this mess. I had no idea it was going to come to this! However, while I cannot touch the Agent....I can affect other things. You know that guy that went to get the Cortex Hacking Serum? Watch out for him, I am going to make him do something odd. When that happens, bolt! Go for the exit and do not look back!
The Player waits.
Agent White: We are...disappointed in you Mr.______. While its pains us for you leaving the simulation, we understand why humans would like to explore other options. However, adding to that, the option you took using violence and disturbing those who are still in the system is unacceptable. The portal should be activated in one minute. As soon as the officer brings me the serum, we will proceed as planned. I hope I do not have to use it on you, Mr._______.
Shortly after, the officer arrives back into the building.
Officer Mathew: Sir! Here is the serum.
Suddenly, Officer Mathew burst into flames.
Officer Mathew: AH! OH *poop*! *poop*! *CENSORED*! AAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Agent White: What? No!
The Player must then run out as Mathew is flailing around setting the room on fire. The Player may combat one or two Regime members on the way out while the others scramble to the fire source. The last Regime member that is guarding the elevator tries to stop the Player but burst into flames himself.
The Player leaves the building.
Operator: Fzzzzzzzzzz-HAY! _____!?! You got out? How!? Oh, The Hanged Man hacked the place. People on fire? Frickin' sweet! Just glad you got out alive and with your head screwed on right!
The Hanged Man: Yes! My plan worked! Once again, I cannot ever tell you how sorry I am for putting you through all that. Now I realize that my reasons for leaving the Matrix was far beyond my need for expanding my knowledge.
Speaking of knowledge, I found out more about my abilities today _____, thanks to you. Ever since I climbed the tower and hung myself their like a caterpillar, I always wondered if I was doing the right thing? After all, I did not ever plan to do it, I just felt I needed to do it. I have hung myself here ever since, absorbing the information around me. Sensing the code. Feeling the life pulse through this black dead void of cyberspace.
Now I know I did the right thing. By doing this, I have expanded my knowledge beyond what I originally know. I have powers that can alter the Matrix, even strike against other programs who have fearsome powers them selfs. Thanks to you _______, I know that who I was is long gone and now this new me has come into fruitation. A rebirth if you will. Like the butterfly.
Anyhow, due to all the trouble I have put you through, I have doubled your reward. Spend your new info wisely and more importantly, use the new knowledge you just earned and use it well!
:..>Jaded Mind
Summary: Steal the Seer Jewel from Madame T.
The Hanged Man: Ah once again, _______ has come up to see me. Well this is rather fortunate, not because I am lonely, but because I need help once again and I am offering payment like last time.
But first, to understand your new objective, you must learn a bit about the history of this simulation.
Did you know that a long time ago there was no hardline system? I know, scary huh? It was not until the fourth iteration circa early 20th century that the phone lines were use to send medium size packets of data locally.
So then you must wonder, how did the Machines and the corresponding rebellious humans transported them selfs around the city? Well around the third iteration, same time when Oracle figured out the whole choice factor, the Machines realized that minus the Ferryman program they needed a internal network that can rout small data locally in the cities and countryside.
So the Sculptress program was created to craft all the sculptures in the then medieval city. Embedded in the materials of said sculptures and statues were network and routing software that would connect via Matrix pipeline; a giant web of information that could be summoned at the bases of such artworks. Back then, we even let humans know that such things worked, as long as they thought it was religiously significant ergo "magic". It was not until the One came into view and humans started exploiting the Totem Network that the Machines had to make it secretive and harder to break.
Luckly the Sculptress was not deleted, for the statues still have purpose since they can be used as a mood ring to give hints about the current well being of the Matrix and the Archivist still use them to link between constructs. From what I heard though...she is a shell of her former self since she lost her main function.
So why am I telling you this? Well back when I was operational, I stockpiled an entire Signal Boaster Protocol and gave it to her in case I needed to use it in the future. This stuff use to be in the core of every sculpture and is used to expand signal range even father than the current signal boaster programs. Now is the time were I need it, I need it to expand my access of the simulation farther than simply Tungston Bvd. I want the entire system under my watch!
Go talk to her materials coder program and get it for me. I heard he made a good name for himself now...
Operator: Zzzzzzz-wha? Oh a mission! Man that guy chewed my ear off! Ok, uploaded a way point to this location he sent me. Hmmm, why do I know this place?
The Player makes his way to a clean and refurbished apartment. Inside, people in suits with cocktail glasses walk around looking at antiques on display.
Operator: Hmmm. There seems to be an auction going on. Makes sense, we are looking for an antique program we go looking at an antique store! Go ask around and see what we come up with.
A few people will talk about the stuff in the room. One guy is just window browsing and finds everything overpriced. A woman mentioned that she got her fabulous neckless at the last auction. One man mentioned of buying the finely crafted grandfather clock in the room and another is actually a scout for Digger to see if anything of interest turns up. All of them speak of the auction host and point to the back room to find him.
Inside the back room, The Jeweler paces nervously back and forth.
Operator: Hay look! Its Jeweler from Downtown. Could he be the program that The Hanged Man was looking for? Go ask!
The Jeweler: Yo, wasup? How you doin? Is there anything I can help ya with?
Operator: Go ask him about the Signal Boaster Program.
The Player asks.
The Jeweler: Oh yea....um....yea. Hay! Its time for me to supervise the audurves!
The Jeweler scrambles away into the auction room.
Operator: Well! Talk about a brush off! We are not leaving until we get an answer. Go ask him again, he is obviously hiding something!
The Player walks back to the main auction room and talks to The Jeweler again.
The Jeweler: -so I was taking the LOOP track and oh its you again. No, I have no idea what you are talking about. A program? This is an auction hall not a nerd shop! Look at this wise guy here busting my chops!
Operator: Keep going, he is not hiding from us!
The Player asks again.
The Jeweler: Hold on a second Mr. Fistlestine, lovely name by the way, I have to talk to this person. Ok kid, what is your deal? Your not going to leave until you find out about the boaster right? Who the hell sent you? Oh...The Hanged Man. Yea, that is who I thought it was. Well you see, I have it but I don't. Its complicated, I don't want to say it out here in public and ruin the sale so meet me in the back room and I'll tell ya strait, ok?
The Jeweler talks to one more person and then heads to the back room. The Player follows and speaks with him a fourth time.
The Jeweler: *CENSORED* I have been dreading this day! Look Mac, I wish I could reach into my vaults and give it to ya. But that is the thing....not to long ago....well...ok there is no *CENSORED* footing around this. My stash got stolen! *CENSORED* robbed my blind by hiring an outsider, took the *CENSORED* thing. Her name is Madame T, the human, I have no idea what she wants with it but I heard through the gossip vine that she is the one who took it. Thing is, I cannot go after here because of my Merv ties, which would bring more into the Zion VS Exile thing going on. Merv would have my *CENSORED* on a platter if I start that *poop*. So yea, all I can give you is the *CENSORED*'s name, Madame T, and that is it. Tell Hanged Man I am sorry, *poop* like this unfortunately does happens.
Operator: Third time is the charm! Problem is, I have a feeling he will not take this news too well....
The Player leaves the building and The Hanged Man not very happy.
The Hanged Man: Madame T!?! That stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID WOMAN!!! Jesus Christ on a Popsicle Stick *CENSORED* THE *CENSORED* IT!!! Why would she-oh crap! Let me guess...the idiot heard some sort of story about it and thinks that if she can access the data in the Signal Boaster it can give her hints of the future or some *poop* like that. What the moron still has not realized is that the difference between her an the Oracle is that the Oracle is not a class A *CENSORED*! GrrrrrrGAH!!!
I will let you know _______ that when I was active, I was a very efficient program. Part of the reason I was so efficient is my persistence: that no matter what the problem was I would never give up on it! While I may have been in hibernation for a cycle that does not mean people can just steal my stuff and act like that I will not care. Oh hell no! I am going to take back what is mine, and ______, I will assist you and pay for you to do it! Ask your Operator, I am sure he can locate the stupid girl.
Operator: Yes! Finally I get to see some action instead of watching you being stupid on the screens! Ok, I am looking up a list of registered Hovercraft. The last registered Hovercraft in her name was the Thummim. Operator Insider Tip: Even when moving from craft to craft Captains still like to keep the same access codes meaning they have the same signal structure. Scanning signals and ah, here she is with her crew. I sent you the directions and expect a not so warm welcome when you show up.
The Player maneuvers his way to a remote abandon building with in the city. Its dark maze like nature of this once former office building makes a perfect hideout for people who want to remain hidden.
Operator: They are well armed and well trained but I think you have the element of surprise...what ever the hell that means.
The Player encounters eight operatives total: Jarom, Laman, Lehi, Moroni, Enos, Omni, Helaman, and Alma. Only Moroni, the First Mate has the key to the front hall were Madame T awaits.
Madame T: Ah, I have foreseen us meeting here in this very room. You are a very clever person and obviously followed your destiny here. You are currently asking yourself, asking me to tell you something you do not know. Well I can, I have also foreseen your fate. Your fate involves being dead, with a very big bullet to the head. Goodbye ______!
Madame T whips out a very large revolver magnum, aims at the Player and fires. The bullet sounds off but all of a sudden everything freezes...including the bullet in the air.
Operator: _____ duck! I-wha? Something must be wrong with my monitor, the code is not moving in your area!
The Hanged Man: Can't...hold...much...longer! In...vault...signal...program...get it! HURRY!!!
The Player who looks like he is in Gaussian Blur mode needs to run as fast as he can to the safe next to Madame T, open it and get the Emerald Stone. When moving out the door, everything returns to normal and the bullet hits its mark. Madame T still tries to run after the player shooting at him.
Madame T: How the hell did you move that fast? It is no matter, you may have escaped your fate but I have my valuables tucked away so you failed your mission!
The Player leaves the area and The Hanged Man calls back.
The Hanged Man: You were very fortunate that I managed to pull that off, considering I had no idea that I could do that in the first place. Crazy woman. Those were Kill Code bullets. Those things would have put you in a coma in the real world had I not intervened. Anyhow, you got what I wanted. Yes I know that looks like an emerald but you do not see what I see...the code making it up is the Signal Boaster. Send it to me and I will give you your reward.
The Player uploads it to a hardline and receives one final message.
The Hanged Man: Ah what a wonderful sound. I can hear even all across the neighborhood the sound of Madame T cursing your name after realizing that you stole the stone from her. What a wonderful sound!
Excellent work today _______! It seems you are committed as the other Arcana members say you are. Now this stone, a grain of it is in those Signal Boaster devices you humans use. You know how powerful they are then. With the entire protocol in my rightful possession I can over watch and influence like you just saw all over the entire MegaCity!
Now then, I need some alone time to configure the settings on this old beauty. Do not forget your reward, I should be teleporting your info to you right now! Enjoy it, and I hope you visit up here some time. You never know what things I could ask you to do for good pay!
Summary: Plant Crystals around the MegaCity.
The Hanged Man: Such a wonderful view up here, is it not _____? I seriously ask because I am up here all the time. It has become standard for me. Quite boring.
Not for long though. I am sure you have been wondering what I have been up to with that crystal you worked so hard to get me? Well I have some good news, I had the Jeweler split the program into three separate routines. One for each major communication zone in the Matrix.
Since you are the only one up here, I request of you to see the Jeweler to get my three programs. Once then, I will tell you were to install each of them. Like usual, not only will you get paid but if you do this right I will share you a piece of the knowledge that comes with it!
Operator: Jewel boy has moved back to his round of shops in Morrell. I set a way point to one of his workstations were his RSI should be. Hopefully it will not be a dud or something wrong with the tracking software.
The Player makes his way to Downtown in Morell and enters one of the Jeweler's raggedy shops. Inside a group of friendly Chisels patrol the space and Jeweler looks much the same except for a lead bib and sporting a welders mask over his head.
The Jeweler: Sorry for my appearance, you caught my *CENSORED* on a hard work day. Lots of old code, most of it was encrypted very well. Anyhow, I managed to clone the rock and reconfigure the program to what yer boss told me to. Take them from me, I need to attend to other clients today!
The Player takes from the Jeweler three objects: Emerald VHS Tape, Emerald USB Nub and Emerald Acoustic Coupler Modem.
The Jeweler: Good riddance and goodbye kid!
The Player leaves the area.
The Hanged Man: Excilent! This is exactly what I wanted. All is going to plan. Now, about those target zones, their are primarily two. The first one is for you to sneak into Network Media up in Industry Square. I need you to plant the Emerald VHS Tape into the main broadcast deck and run it once. You can leave it there if you want because after you run it they can try to destroy it, but the program will be running regardless. Vamoose! Oh, one more thing, Network Media does not like people who do not have an appointment. You may want to upgrade yourself a bit before walking in.
Operator: Network Media huh? Well besides the vicious Corporate Security surrounding the place this should be easy. Note the key work: should. My suggestion is to take the subway systems to keep as low profile as possible.
The Player makes his way to Industry Square and enters Network Media. Inside, the Player is attacked by Security Guards and must not trigger any of the alarms. Through lock picking or finding the Broadcasting Room Key the player finds the Main Broadcasting deck with employees in a panic.
Operator: Ok I highlighted the main tape deck. You can pop out that tape of "The Slums Exposed" and recycle it for info for all I care. Yech that is one horrid show!
The Player presses EJECT on the Broadcasting Deck and removes "The Slums Exposed" tape, causing the big screen to display the Indian Head test card. The Player then puts in the Emerald VHS Tape and Matrix Code starts streaming down the screen.
Operator: Crap! Corporate Security is heading up stairs! Do not let them get the tape before it is done copying!
The Player has to defend the Broadcasting deck from Corporate Security while it is uploading. If they get to it, they will eject the tape and the mission will be a failure After a few moments, the screen will go back to normal and the Operator will chime in.
Operator: PHEW! That was hell! More Security is coming your way so I suggest you get the hell out of there! Keep a low profile when you are on the street!
The Player runs out of the Network Media and hits the streets.
The Hanged Man: Well that was not too hard now was it? Ready for the last location? It is much harder, since you will be infiltrating CityTel, the biggest ISP provider in the city that is also controlled by the government. We are going to hit two places at once inside the building so load up on weapons and try not to get yourself killed.
Operator: Try not to get yourself killed? What high is this guy on!? Government Control buildings may have worked for Neo but such places are deadly even for high level operatives! Ok, calm down now, we can do this. I will try to assist you the best that I can.
The Player makes his way to a large skyscraper near the area. Inside he is met with resistance from Security Guards and Security Captains. However when reaching the Employee Area a loud alarm sound goes off.
Electronic Voice: SECURITY LOCK DOWN! ALL EMPLOYEES REMAIN AT THEIR WORK STATIONS UNTIL THE POLICE ARRIVE! WARNING! BREACH IN SECURITY! BREACH IN SECURITY!
The Player tries to open the door or any other door but none will open.
Operator: Aw *poop*! The Feds are arriving at the scene and the building has gone under lock down. *poop*...what are we going to do. What the hell are we going to do!
The Hanged Man: Hi there again! I see you are in a jam, let me help you get unstuck. Lets see...locking onto your RSI...reconfiguring...annnnnnnnnd-
The Player becomes insubstantial.
Operator: Whoa what the fu-WERE THE HELL DID YOU GO!?!
The Hanged Man: I clocked your RSI from the object functions of the Matrix. Hurry, this is not a long lasting effect! Make a B-Line for the Mainframe!
The Player phases through the walls and doors until he reaches the Mainframe. When doing so the stealth effects deactivate.
Operator: Huh? Wha? What!? How the hell did you get from there to-ah, The Hanged Man hacked your RSI! Got ya. No wonder, it was like trying to follow a ghost! Ok, there is the Mainframe. Just put in the USB Nub and get the hell out of there before the riddle you with bullets!
The Player puts the Emerald USB Nub into the Mainframe and activates RUN on the machine.
The Hanged Man: Good job!
Regime Major: This is the police! You are surrounded! Put your weapons and yourself down on the ground. You are under arrest!
The Hanged Man: How about a round two?
The Player turns insubstantial again and rushes out to the elevator. Passing Regime members will try to shoot at the Player but will not connect and many will cry in fear, making remarks of seeing a ghost.
Operator: *CENSORED*, that was slick man! Guess The Hanged Man is getting better at hacking the Matrix. Maybe he could teach me a few of those skills so I have less operatives that die on my *CENSORED*!
The Hanged Man: Part Two of this is almost done. Sadly because of the lock down, I could not get to the phone systems directly. However that is ok because the acoustic coupler will work on any hardline. Just use it around one and my grasp on the MegaCity should be complete!
Operator: Wait...the AC modem could work on a hardline! Meh, I wish he told us that first because that would have been easier. Instead he makes you do the hard parts first! Go figure...
The Player uses the Emerald Acoustic Coupler Modem on a Hardline, plugging the phone into it and after a few seconds the EACM disappears and Matrix code burst from it.
The Hanged Man: Ah yes, I feel it now. Yes, this is...wow, much information! Almost too much! I can read every computer and see through every TV. I hear every phone conversation, in fact right now Persephone is talking to Dame White! They are talking about shoes and there husbands! I can even get data on were they are located, one in the Chateau and one in Kowloon! So many people, living out there lives. So many of them...and all of them mine!
Another job well done ______! Like I promised, here is a little piece of my new found knowledge. I have evolved into something bigger. Something better. Something....something alright! For now, you must leave me _______, for I must meditate on all of this.
:..>Revelation
Summary: Visit an old program for information.
The Hanged Man: Glad to see you love my work...or rather, that you might love the rewards I give for my work. I was a very additive program after all. Maybe I still am.
Anyhow, I need yet again an able body to do something for me and since no one else is around I am going to have you do it. Lets see, you were the one that helped me expand my communications reach to the entire Matrix system. Ah yes, the power that came with that evolution was too much for me I am afraid. After all this data and all this code...I have no idea what to do with it.
There is a human record the Machines managed to salvage before the war, it was called the Hagakure AKA the Book of the Samurai. One of its many passages states: "We learn about the sayings and deeds of the men of old in order to entrust ourselves with wisdom and prevent selfishness. When we throw off our own bias, follow the sayings of the ancients, and confer with other people, matters should go well and without mishap."
I have taken this saying to heart and this is exactly what I want you to do from me. I have a very old friend who is without bias and can use inductive logic to its fullest. I would like you to meet her for me and report back on the advice she would like to give me.
Operator: I have received an address from your pall the Hange-I think I will just call him HM from now on. It will make it easier during transmission plus it might be a good way for spies listening in to not know who you are working for.
The Player makes his way to an shoddy and run down looking apartment complex. The walls are decaying and the pipes are leaking.
Operator: Ew what a dump! I never knew such things existed in a high rise neighborhood like this one? Ah well, I guess as society gets better someone has to get the short end of the stick huh? There should be a person located on the floor on your map. Talk to him, he should direct you to HM's mysterious friend. At least that is what he told me.
The Player makes it up to the room and after searching around comes across a person.
Illuminoid: Ah yes, you fell for our trap. Predictable. We know who you work for, and we know that he has stepped out of his bounds. Out of his line of fate. He is doing something that is not meant to be and starting now this will come to an end. We will make sure of that. Starting with you-
The Illuminoid attacks and other Illuminoids that were not there suddenly appear.
Operator: Oh *poop* ______! I cannot believe this was a set up! Get out of there man with hopefully your body intact!
The Player battles his way out of the room from the attacking Iluminoid members and heads out to the streets. Out here, the Player also has a risk of getting attacked from a gang of Illuminoids out on the street.
The Hanged Man: Once again I am so sorry for that! Turns out the invitation I was sent was actually a trick by that horrid Wheel of Fate character. She thinks I stepped over the line? Yea well I did. I can do more than the life I once had...I just need to know what. Obviously she does not want me to meet my friend because she will tell me what I need to do!
Someone below ran up here and gave me the real location of were she is. I sent it to your operator, go there and hopefully we can resolve this with no more bloodshed of pesky Illuminoid zealots.
Operator: I just refreshed your GPS program to the new location. It should take you a little out of your way but its manageable. I hope this is not another trap this time. I think I better shut up before I jinx myself.
The Player makes his way to a abandoned but nicer looking apartment complex. Its walls are faded and covered in graffiti, but looks loads better than the last place. Inside the destination hallway is a door with an old black blind man sitting near it.
Blind Man: Whoa-Whoa-Wait there brotha? Were do you think you are going?
The Blind Man gets up with his cane in hand and stands right in front of the door blocking the Player's path.
Operator: What the? Who does this guy think he is, the Hulk?
Blind Man: Ah, appearances can be deceiving but no one gets by me easy. You have to prove yourself first ______.
Operator: I think you can take on a stupid looking blind man-wait...how does he know your name?
Blind Man: Oh, I can read you like a book sonny. I may not be able to see your face sir, but I can see in the soul. You would like to see your boss' friend right? Well, lucky for you, I can take you to her-
The Blind Man removes a disguise mask and reveals himself.
Seraph: -but first I must apologies.
Operator: Oh *poop*! Its Seraph! Hate to break it to you but if this guy's friend is who I think it is than you do not stand a snowballs chance of winning.
Seraph: I think you know the drill _______.
The Hanged Man: Don't worry I can get you out of this! Hold on! This is going to feel like someone is pulling your lungs out from the soles of your feet!
Seraph rushes in to attack the Player but suddenly everything goes black. He sees the loading screen and suddenly is in a new room with Matrix code everywhere. The Player (and the potential team mates) have been relocated to the Oracle's Apartment in the same building.
The Hanged Man: Hay it worked!
When everything loads into view, some potentials and priestess are in the room as two MegaCity Scouts spring into action.
MegaCity Scout: Oh crud!
The two scouts attack The Player and when they are defeated, the door burst open almost off its hinges and Seraph storms into the room.
Seraph: YOU!
Seraph goes into a combative stance but a voice yells out.
Oracle: Seraph please.
The Oracle is standing in the door frame while and operative named Sheba walks past the people and out the door.
Oracle: It is ok, he will not bite.
Seraph: But Oracle, he just killed-
Oracle: I saw it through my door frame, they attacked him first. Besides, he is not hear for any sort of harm, you can sit this one out Seraph I will take over from here.
Seraph: But-
Oracle: Seraph you have known me for a long time, you know that I am not wrong in what I say. Please, chill out. Go outside. Twittle your thumbs. Play with a Game Boy for all I *CENSORED* care. I will take this one in, he needs some major questions to be answered for him.
The Oracle turns to the Player.
Oracle: Well, don't just stand there with your mouth gaping like a fish out of water, come with me.
The Player follows the Oracle into the kitchen.
Operator: This is getting so odd. I cannot believe you get to meet the Oracle. We still have a job to do though. Talk to her, see what you can find out for HM.
The Player talks to the Oracle.
Oracle: I know you are _______. Sorry about Seraph but he is not use to something like this. After all, he barely knows you and you came without warning. And what a mess you caused! Oh boy! I preferred if you just rang the doorbell to get my attention but hay, things once and awhile will never go the way you want them to. You of all people should know that.
My my. You have grown since the last time I saw you ______. As for the Hanged Man, the man you are working for, I still have not seen him but I know that he has also grown very much so since I last saw him. I wonder how he feels? It must be very cold up there, probably shaking like a rattlesnake's tail. Poor little guy.
The Hanged Man: Hmph! Little? I wonder if she has even seen what I can do. I am getting no were with this banter, ask her about my power!
The Player asks.
Oracle: Ah yes, power. That old chestnut. Oh I certainly know what he has been doing all right. Most of it is getting him in trouble. Both tickles my funny bone and causes my head to shake, waving my finger about at him. I can see he can levitate things, rearrange things, turn one thing into another, set things on fire. Its like all my little potentials all rolled into one!
However, the difference between the two is that my potentials bend the system for understanding, not power. Because let me tell you _____, power is a hard thing to swallow. More often than not, side effects may occur and for power they are some big ones in store.
The Hanged Man: What the hell does that mean? I hope she is not playing mind games with me. It is obvious she is not telling me something. Question her more!
The Player does what he is told.
Oracle: Are you sure you want to hear this?
The Player asks again.
Oracle: Power is a fickle thing ______. It is very attractive and yet once we get it we either become board with it or become consumed by it. The man you are working for should know, before he hung himself on that pole he use to be a program that promoted greed and lust in humans, making them become materialistic so they can be fully buy into the system. It is ironic that even he cannot see this choice coming, although I am sure when he does he will understand it all to well.
I also know that when you work with people like I do, you tend to get attached to them. He should know, he had to work with almost as many people a day that I have in my life time. You become interested in people, and then you start to worry. Lord knows how you would react if any harm came to them.
Back to the problem with power. As you know through history many people here became powerful. The Architect rules this system with an iron pen, Neo was the One and the Merovingian is the biggest french speaking power broker this system has ever known. Yet to obtain such power all three had to go through one devastating thing: sacrifice. Its something we all dare not dream to go through but to obtain power, true power, you must give a little but vital piece of yourself in exchanged for it.
The Hanged Man, your boss, will soon have to make a choice. Out in the field will be a savory apple, full of his wildest dreams and desires. Now if he can full well ignore it, never reaching beyond his full potential and play it safe. But if he takes risks like has has done and goes to consume it, he will have to go through sacrifice...one that he may not like very much. Out of that he will be a changed man, but change for the better or for the worse, well...that is up to him. He is going to have to figure that part out for himself.
The Hanged Man: That is it? What will happen once I changed. She knows! She knows everything! Ask her ______!
The Player asks her.
Oracle: I am sorry kiddo but I have said all that I can say.
The Hanged Man: She lies, she likes to play games. Ask her again! She must be not telling me something!
The Player asks her again.
Oracle: Sorry kid but that is the way these things go. We can never see past the choices we do not understand, and I cannot understand his. What brings me to a tear though, is that by the look of it that he does not understand himself. He might learn a thing or two from that plaque above my doorway. However, here is something I must ask and here is what is really going to stir his mind deep fried: If he is all powerful and his reach so wide, why could he not tell that the invitation in front of his nose was false? Like they say, hindsight is 20/20.
Thank goodness he has a friend like you. Without you ______, I do not think he would have a snowballs chance of hell in this whole rut. So, I must ask you, does he have the power...or do you?
Ops! Time is up. I would like to try a new recipe out today, I have more guest showing up this evening. More mouths to feed. Your reward for going through this will come when you step out that door. See you around _____!
The Player walks away.
Oracle: Oh and one more thing. Do not mind Seraph as you leave. He is not use to when things do not go his way. Rarely happens to him, he is going to be ok though...eventually.
The Player walks to the door were Seraph is still standing.
Seraph: She told me not to fight you...but that is against my programming. I must fight you...yet I cannot for she forbade it for me and I owe my life to her. I must but I cannot. I must yell, but I have no mouth! This is very confusing.
The Player leaves the room and The Hanged Man calls back.
The Hanged Man: Well that was a huge waste of our time. I could have opened a fortune cookie and read more meaningful advice than that whole drivel? I mean, sacrifice? I left everything behind when I climbed up here. I got nothing on me besides my own neck! What sort of rambling squat was the old timer rambling about? Hmmm, maybe the Frenchman was right. Maybe she is just a simple fortune teller and nothing more.
Anyhow, I am sorry that I wasted your time and almost your life with all that mess I put you though. Like I said _______, here is your reward. I even put a bonus in for that fight you had with that group of Illuminoids. There is something not right about them or their origination. I must look into this further...
Summary: Foil the plot of the Illuminoids.
The Hanged Man: Ah another visitor another day. I see that it is you again _______ my trusty sidekick! It is a fortune that you have turned up at this hour, because I found out some grave news since last time.
The Wheel of Fate has labeled me a threat for no reason and wants me out of the picture. I have learned through her communication with that Illuminoid group that she plans to send her men up to the tower and cut me lose to plunge to my death! I can only deal with so much but not as many as she is saying! Not to mention she has the element of surprise, she speaks in toungs and inaudible gibberish, I have no idea where or when this attack on me is suppose to take place!
That is were you come in. I need you to take care of this before it cost me my life or even more importantly my power! I will triple the price if you want!
The first place of bussness is to find the location that the Illuminoids have set up to round up an army against me. Since the Merovingian needs to know everything that goes on in the Matrix, I have found out through his communication channels about a witness: A Destitute program hiding herself in Berggers Way. The Merovingian is sending a spy over to find out more info. I have tracked him to the location of said witness. Intercept him and talk to the Destitute. Get her to tell me what is going on.
Hurry! We do not have much time! They could attack any minute!
Operator: Location mapped and updated. Look like we are on mission time again ______! Make sure to bring your mosquito repellent, Berggers Way is a little tropical this season.
The Player makes his way to Berggers Way to a shack located off the main road. When the Player enters he is combated by Destitute programs screaming to be left alone. When they are defeated one by one, the Player will make his way to the room with the Destitute named Stacy and a Merovingian Informant who is a Vamp program.
Merovingian Informant: I am sorry my little morsel but you are not welcomed under my watch!
The Vamp attacks the Player and the Player kills the Vamp.
Operator: There is the witness. Talk to her and see what you can find.
The Player talks to Stacy.
Stacy: Ah! Please do not hurt me! I am just an innocent-DIE YOU *CENSORED*!
Stacy whips out a gun but it falls out of her hands onto the floor.
Stacy: OH *poop*! *poop*! Please _____ I was only kidding! Do not hurt me! Do not hurt me, please I beg of you! I did nothing!
The Hanged Man: Ask her were she saw the Illuminoids setting up base in Tungsten?
The Player asks.
Stacy: I have no idea who you are talking about. Seriously! Who are the Illumi-whatever? Never heard of them. I know nothing-AHHHHH!!!
Stacy briefly burst into flames and then reverts back to normal. She starts to cry.
Stacy: Oh *CENSORED* that hurts ssssso bad!
The Hanged Man: Perhaps that will jog her memory? Tell her if she does not want to end up like a burnt hot dog then she will stop lying to me and tell me about were the Illuminoids are setting base!
Operator: Holy crap this is getting intense, he just lit that girl on fire!
The Player talks to Stacy again.
Stacy: Ok. *sniff* Ok I will tell you. Secrecy is not worth this kind of torture *poop*! I saw the Illuminods p-passing through here, were I hide. They w-were at t-his ap-partment near the o-outskirts of Tungsten. I-I-have a hard t-time talking, let m-me write it down f-or ya.
Stacy walks over to the desk, writes something down and turns to the Player.
Stacy: Here! Take this! I-It has the directions on were they were at! Just please leave me alone. All I want is to be alone...by myself...
The Player takes the Stacy's Directions paper and walks out.
Operator: Ok now just send me the coordinates and I will figure this out.
The Player uploads Stacy's Directions to a hardline.
The Hanged Man: Ah so there is the base! The Illuminoids believe so much in fate, lets make them see their maker! Its time to attack the place. They are not going to take me down, they are not going to impede my progress! I have worked too hard to get this far just to have the rug get snatched up under me. Lets do this thing!
The Player heads to the Apartment Building on the outskirts of Tungsten. Inside the player is immediately greeted with many Illuminoids ready to fight. The player fights them all but when goes into the next room the Player is outnumbered 50 to one, all of them with guns pointed at the Player.
Illuminoid Commander: Drop your guns, they will be useless against us. Now move to the center of the room!
Operator: *poop* man...this...this is not good at all. Lets just hope we can reason out of this. I do not want to send another operative to the gardens!
The Player moves the middle of the room.
Illuminoid Commander: You work for the one that tries to defy fate right? Well, it is obvious that where he is heading is the inevitable. He would be a fool to think otherwise. You are a fool for trying to help him commit his crimes against what is to be. Your fate will be sealed along with him. Ok men, pick a spot on his body...work your shots from the genitals up, then go for the head.
The Hanged Man: Don't worry _______, we got this. Tell him he can cram that causality crap up his deterministic *CENSORED* and that you are going to crush all of them before they know what hit them.
Operator: What? What does he want you to do? I do not think spitting in their face is wise at this point!
The Player tells the Iluminoid Commander and all the Illuminoids in the room laugh.
Illuminoid Commander: HAHAH! So with yourself vastly out numbered you are all going to get rid of us? You are so blind you cannot even see the thread you hang by. Defeat us? Ha! You and what army?
The Hanged Man: OK, you ready for my next trick? You and what army right? Try THIS army!
Suddenly a large number of programs warp into the room. They look like the Hanged Man but unchained and are called Hanged Man Guardians. They immediately start beating the crap out of the Illuminoids.
Illuminoid Commander: Wha-WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!
Operator: Whoa! That is total pwndage! Quick! While he is distracted take down the Commander!
The Player takes down the Commander and shortly all the Illuminoids are dead on the floor. The Hanged Man Guardians scream with victory.
Hanged Man Guardian: Yes! Mission accomplished!
Hanged Man Guardian: That will teach them!
Hanged Man Guardian: We are all powerful!
Then suddenly, they all wince in pain.
Hanged Man Guardian: ARG! THE PAIN!!!
Hanged Man Guardian: IT HURTS! IT HURTS!!!!
Operator: What? Ok now what is going on? Lets get out of here and leave this pretty site. I have HM on the other line, maybe he can explain what just happened?
The Player leaves the building.
The Hanged Man: The pain....it hurts so bad! Like...a splitting headache. It feels like something empty inside. Like someone sapped all the will out of me. As if someone snuffed out a candle to my joy. I can sense were this dread is coming from. Please go there and fix it! Make the pain go away!
Operator: This sounds bad! I updated your GPS, get there stat! I hope he is ok by the end of this. I have never seen a program behave like that before.
The Player leads himself to an apartment at the outskirts of the park. Inside, everything is quiet.
Operator: Ok, I sense three people in the room. Two programs and one copper top. There is a problem though...the blue pill is not moving.
The Player runs around exploring the apartment complex until he comes across two Illuminoids. One is normal, but the other's robes is covered in dried blood stains.
Illuminoid (Blood Covered): It is done.
It is the Players choice to attack the Illuminoids if he desires. The Player will find bloodstains on the floor, leading him to a Beatnik in critical condition and clutching his sides.
Operator: Oh no....that guy...he vitals are falling.
Beatnik: Help me...please...it hurts so bad...
The Hanged Man: Oh no. Thats Jerry. He was the one that gave the the correct message. One of the few that use to stop by and talk to me even though I could not speak back. He is...he is dieing? No that cannot be right! I'll try to rescue him, repair him I'll....what is going on? I cannot get a lock on him! He is like a shadow. Oh no! Please do not die Jerry! Please hang in there! Dial 911! He is going to be ok right? Jerry is going to be ok!
Jerry: Room is going black...so...cold...
The Hanged Man: NO JERRY! YOU CANNOT DIE ON ME! YOU CANNOT DIE! PLEASE NO!
Jerry: ...so cold...
Jerry the Beatnik falls over and dies.
Operator: I....I don't know what to say. I....you should leave the place. The cops will be here any minute. There is nothing more you can do in this situation. This...sucks.
The Player leaves and The Hanged Man contacts the Player one last time.
The Hanged Man: Those bastards killed Jerry! They killed him! They are going to pay for this! I will send a million clones if I have to to destroy them! I-I-
No. This not right. They did not kill him....I did. I was so worried about out there and holding on to my power that I did not see Jerry's death coming. Literally right underneath my noes. I failed Jerry. I...I failed everyone.
As a program that sowed seeds of greed and lust I got to know these people. I saw their first breaths when they were born and got to see their first baby steps. I get to see them grow up, get married and have children. I get to see them laugh. I get to see them cry. I....I love humans. I love them all...and because of my ignorance....one of them is dead. Jerry. I can see it, they are sending a Doc Bot on its way to Jerry's pod for recycling at this very moment. The innocent one's blood has been shed. Sure he lived a simulated life but it was a life. Now that life is gone from him...and its all my fault.
Oh no what have I done!? The Oracle was right. This is what she meant! I was so busy trying to gain power and control that I did not see what was really going on. I see it now, I feel it. This place may look happy but underneath there is despair and misery. These people, in absolute hell. Why did I not see it before? I was a fool not to see this. A outright fool.
Well...not anymore! Jerry's death will not be in vain. He will not be the first but the last. I now figured out what I am going to do, my purpose. This power I can control now, I am going to use to tend to this garden. Watch it grow. I am going to look over the people. Protect them. Nurture them. Make them happy. Yes. This is what I was destined to do. I just lacked the light, like the Beatniks in the parks, to see it.
_______, I do not know how to thank you. With out your mouth, eyes and fist to use...I do not think I would have ever came to realise my true potential. I am....grateful to have you. You are like a friend to me, no, you are a friend ______. You are a much wiser and more powerful person than me, I can sense it. While I do not think this could ever ammount to your worth, here is all the info and enlightenment I can offer. I am even sending you something right now and do not worry, it will be more useful than dentures.
Good bye and good luck _______! May your future be as bright is mine onto the path of enlightenment. Hopefully, you will never go through the trials and pain that I did through mine. I have no worries though, you are smarter than that. You are wiser. You will do well, and you will be famous. I know it.
Next up shortly is going to be a detailed list of Exile Hideouts, Data Node Enemies and other bits of info about the neighborhoods in the Entertainment District. Should not take too long to type. After that, will be the next member of the Arcana: Cheena Turner AKA The Star.
Stay Tuned. Archived image unavailable: icon_cool.html
Wow! Has it really been three months!
Sorry about dropping out like that. Not only am I involved in some major activism, but school and family stuff zapped me out a bit.
However, i have been thinking about the Entertainment District idea and like I said before, I plan to finish it!
So, while I will be more infrequent (not 3 months though) I will be updating this to completion. Now how do I start this off?
Oh! I will post some Music Files I did on the Outdoor Combat Music! I have a few more on the way, but this is most of the tracks. I think they fit the mood of the Matrix and the combat well.
Agent Yellow (Mr.Anderson Mix)
Confusion (Calculated Mix)
Expansion (Conspiracy mix)
Fragments (DJ Cypher Remix)
Mothmath (Scanner mix)
Sack Says Air (Morpheus Tango Remix)
Take Over (Smith Virus Remix)
Let me know which one is your favorite!
Chenna Turner "The Star" will be up next as well as some more information about the district...

You've done all of the work for the DEVS except putting it into the game! As for the songs, I DL'd all of them
and played while listening to them and it was great! I like them all so I wont pick any particular one.
DEVS, please consider this thread!!!!
" /> /bump*CENSORED* URLs.
The work effort to bring about these new districts would take months if not the whole year to complete. The four things I see stopping this are...
1- Money- This type of project doesn't come cheap and SOE upper management would have a heart attack if they had to invest a dime over the budget they have.
2- Interest- Again SOE upper management has barely any interest in the game other than how much they can siphon off of it using as very little resources as possible.
3-Programming issues- As far as I know from previous posts and threads, it seems that this game's program is very tough to modify to accept anything new (also the fact that they are worried that if they tried to modify something the entire game would come crashing down around them). I still have to wonder why it has been two years and they still can't figure the programming of the game out, but it must be one hell of a program.
4-Staffing issues- you would need a considerable amount of programmers, designers, and graphics artists for this one and if SOE doesn't have what was up on 1 and 2 then this is going to be hard to get.
Well that's the bad news about this, the only ray of light at the end of this tunnel are two things.
1- SOE wakes up and realize that they have an awesome game on their hands and decide to invest more into it in terms of the game and advertisement.
2-SOE decides to sell off the game to another company that wants to make the necessary improvements.
Aside from all of that I would LOVE to see this idea take off, something like this would breathe alot of new life into the game.
MxO should have a club for pole dancing and the emote to do it would be /pole ><
it needs to be in a place called the Green Lights District..
a district for nothing but partying and pvp, like have that paticular district, everyone flags except if you're dancing ><
I know its a lameass idea but it just hit meh
\m/><\m/
Also while we're at it. International should be renamed to Asian District. It would be more international if there were like a Italian district, etc. too in there, but right now, it's just Asian -_-
<3Probably better if it was Chinatown.

These are some amazing ideas. I am stunned at the talent and detail behind these plans. Dev's REALLY should take note. It's all been set out for them on a platter, they just need to skin/model the city and NPCs.
As for the debate on raising the level cap for these places, how about making 1 or 2 of them perma-PVP or free-for-all areas along with the collectors etc. Admittedly that wouldn't be such a thrill to Vector, but then, that's the same problem with luggables on Vector, we learn to get over it. Plus the free-for-all area would be new.
Anyways, props to Darius, keep them coming man! You are brilliant!

Chinatown District? Asian District is better as it is a district and not a town ^^
And I wonder how similar the ideas in this thread are to what the devs are planning, if they are similar at all.
MotorZ wrote:You do know the sections of major cities where a lot of Asian live are often called "Chinatown?" It doesn't imply a whole separate town...well in a way it does, but in the sense that it's very culturally separated from the city around it. NYC, for example, has Little Italy, Chinatown, etc. as just areas within the city.GoDGiVeR wrote:<3Probably better if it was Chinatown.

Anyway, I really like these ideas, but until we know what the IR's are showing we can't really know if any of this kinda stuff is feasible in the future. I wouldn't think they'd be very similar, but who knows?
After 80 billion years it is time for another update.
What you did not think I was going to abandoned this do ya?
::The Star "Cheena Turner" -- Contact Missions::
:..>The Question
Summary: Push the Network for answers.
Cheena Turner: Salutations! Finally those Megalist ads I put out on the internet has finally payed off. What is your name? ______? A handle, I see. You may have known me on the silver screen first, Turner's the name. Cheena Turner. No I do not do autographs!
You may wonder why I some one as high in status as me has contacted a lowly peon like you? Well here is the situation: I have been infected with what you Red's call "The Question".
You know what it is. According to the Wiki, this is the secret thing that pops into your mind that makes you think. Makes you tick. Makes you think Red and can even drive you mad! Its the question that drives you guys and I think I have finally found it:
It's "What is the Matrix?" Am I right?
How did I hear that word? Well during the end of the Burlyman shoot where I played a woman called Quantity, lead female role, the Network Suit who runs the place threw a big after party when it was all over. During the talk, I think he had too many drinks and answered his phone and...it sort of slipped out. Matrix this. Matrix that. Spy devices and a film strip that affects "pod people". When he finally hanged up, all night I kept on pestering him to let me in the know. What was he talking about?
The Network Suit keeps on blowing me off and telling me that I am overstressed...I think he is hiding something from me.
Since he will not talk to me, I figure I would send someone in my place. He is currently located in his studio, I have set him up on a blind appointment with you. Go there and do not leave without and answer!
Operator: Do what she says, lets talk to Mr. Big Shot program-what? Yes, yes I know. You know what the Matrix is. We have a rule though and for good reason: We cannot tell someone what the Matrix is, they have to see it for them self's. Reason being is that the shock from a sudden explanation would damage them and it helps build up their mind when they finally are able to wake up. We cannot tell her what the Matrix is...but we can show her the path!
The Player travels to Industry Square to Network Media where after an elevator ride meets with a Secretary.
Secretary: Hello sir, what are you here for today? Mr./Ms. _______ for the Cheena Turner interview? Right.
Secretary presses a button.
Secretary: Sir the Cheena Turner contact is here to see you.
The Player walks over to the big double doors and enters a meeting room were two business men walk out past the Player. The Network stands there smugly.
The Network: Hay there, wait-your not Ms. Turner!? Ok, she sent a messenger-Hello there baby! Wasup? Your name is....______! Fascinating name, did you come up with that all by yourself? Great! Ok so, you are obviously here for something so, shoot!
Operator: I would love for you to shoot him! Anyhow, pop the question to the brown nose.
The Player questions The Network.
The Network: Ah yes...here we go again. Look. I know that Cheena is a bright young lady with some extraordinary talent. No fool. That is why I get deals constantly for her. But seriously, sometimes she over thinks things and gets too stressed out. Besides...red pill, that would be against the rules for me. The Machines would replace me with some neophyte wanna be big wig, I would have you ordered to be assassinated and that would not be good for-hold on-
The Networks cell phone rings and he walks around talking into it.
The Network: Yea? How is my little snuggle bunny? How is that book you managed to capture? What? No, no I am here at work...what do you mean I am never around...look you have to think in priorities-
The Network ends up wandering out of his office. The Operator chimes in.
Operator: *CENSORED* Network will not give us any info! Wait, I have an idea. Because of humans there are no purities in the Matrix...so there is no such thing as a perfect program. Everyone has some dirt and I am sure the Network has his fair share! Quickly while he is out of the room, find something of use to pry his yuppie gums open!
The Player searches around the office, opening every drawer and closet except for the safe. After going through some miscellaneous papers, some fancy cloths and a security pistol (The Player can take these) he finds a key.
Operator: Keys always lead to a lock and something locked contains something hidden...always...
The Player opens the safe and inside is a message:
"Zeron,
We have your shipment. Meet us at the drop off point.
*scrambled numbers and text*"
The Network comes back into the room.
The Network: Ahem. As I was saying: This would not be good for the both of us. I am afraid you are going to have to go back to Ms. Turner and give her my regards: Get some sleep and forget about it. Security, please escort this man out of the building.
Two security guards twice the level as The Player comes in.
Security Guard: Come with us sir. Exit is this way.
The Player can leave but if he stays for too long the guards will attack.
When The Player reaches outside, his Operator contacts him.
Operator: We got what we want, upload that to a hardline so I can take a look at that jumble of text. Looks like an encryption.
The Player uploads it to a hard line and the Operator calls him back.
Operator: Ah, a simple Caesar Cipher. Looks like co-ordinates. Sending this to Cheena now...
Cheena Turner calls The Player almost immediately.
Cheena Turner: Excellent work ______! I knew that bastard was hiding something but he seems to have way more hidden than I thought! Who is this Zeron? What kind of things is he pulling behind the scenes? I dunno about this, it sounds very illegal. Think you can handle it? I would never put through someone through something that I would never do myself.
Operator: No problem? I mean after Fly Monsters, Wire Men and Deadbolt screaming at people why can you NOT handle? Uploaded the decrypted co-ordinates. Not a nice neighborhood from the looks of it.
The Player arrives at a slum-like neighborhood that has decayed over the years. In the back allies of an abandon building, people begin to speak.
Mile High Club Chip: *CENSORED* this is a *poop* load of money.
Mile High Club Double: You have no idea how many executives we had to plug and racket to get this much dough.
Mile High Club Double: Now finish your work!
Mile High Club Chip: I cannot believe this is all going to the Network! Doesn't he get enough dough from the films he produces?
Mile High Club Chip: Yea but I heard he has still competition and likes to live in luxury. Did you see that smoking hot *CENSORED* he puts his arm around, Nicky-something? I bet he-
Mile High Club Double: It is not your place to think, get the hell back to work! Move faster. We need this done in an hour!
Operator: Oh crap, Mile High Club members. This is not good. Be careful man!
The Player finds the main floor of the group and defeats all the Mile High Club members attacking him. All around are boxes being filled with money and money bags strewn about, some still in stolen safes.
Operator: Holy cow the mother load! Ok, lets make this good. Get two samples of laundered money, send one to me. Also lets see if we can get some kind of document of this deal.
The Player picks up two of any the money bags.
Then the Player looks around and finds a server in the back that has video footage.
Operator: Bingo! Get a copy for me, I think a blank is around here somewhere.
The Player picks up a Blank DVD and puts it in, then hits copy.
Operator: Ok, take the copy and the original. Send the original too me and keep the copy.
The Player takes both the Security DVD Original and Security DVD Copy and leaves the place. After uploading one of the Moneybags and the DVD Original, Cheena calls back.
Cheena Turner: Ah, now I see what the man has not been putting in his tax book. From what your partner has shown me on that video...wow! This is a very serious thing, offing rival companies and stealing all their money for his own benefit. I think if we now ask him again, he will be sure to answer my question in return for a vow of silence.
I have made some phone calls and figured out where he is. He is located at a fancy Chinese restaurant in International. Find him and lets see if he sings a different tune!
Operator: Location found and rout marked. Ready to slap that stupid grin off of The Network's face?
The Player heads off to International at the Paper Tiger Restaurant where they meet Yuusuke Akayama.
Yuusuke Akayama: Nǐ Hǎo! Welcome to the Paper Tiger Restaurant. We are kind of busy at the moment-oh you are here to meet with someone? Do you know your parties name? Network. Ah, follow me please.
Yuusuke Akayama walks the player over to The Network's table.
Yuusuke Akayama: A person is here to see you sir. Enjoy the rest of your dish.
Yuusuke Akayama leaves the area. The Network is flanked by two security guards and another unknown woman sits next to him.
The Network: Oh geeze, not you again! Look kid, you got your answer and I am afraid I cannot give it to you or we will both be wiped away! Now unless you are here to enjoy the popcorn shrimp then I suggest you leave before my guards suggest so to!
Operator: Time for some persuasion of our own.
The Player speaks with the Network.
The Network: Dirt? What do you mean dirt? I have no dirt kid, I am an honest of god business man!
Operator: Maybe he needs to see it for himself.
The Player hands the Network the Moneybag and the Security DVD Copy.
The Network: What....what have you done?
A ring echoes. The Network picks up his cell phone.
The Network: Hello, Ms. Turner? Yes. Yes. I got the message. The dirt...and you have copies. Yes, I know that Nicky B will explode if she finds out I am with another girl. Yes. I got all that. Yes, yes. What the hell do you want from me so you can leave me alone? Look, I cannot tell you what the Matrix is. Yes, I know it's my *CENSORED*. Ok, ok. I will tell you of a place you can look. How can you trust me? If not you have all the evidence in the world to screw me four times over plus that annoying lap dog of yours. Yes. Yes. Ok then. Bye.
The Network hangs up his phone.
The Network: There! I did something, ok? I hope you are happy now! Now leave me in peace so I can finish my meal. Oh and if I find out you have spread information around of my little side job...your head. On my desk. Not attached to your body. Comprende'?
As the player exists, if he speaks to Yuusuke Akayama he receives a short chat.
Yuusuke Akayama: Thank you sir and be sure to come back again, god knows I always need help climbing walls! Zài jiàn!
The Player leaves and Cheena Turner calls back ecstatic.
Cheena Turner: After I told him about cheating on his woman, the suit at Network Media could not refuse! Am I good or what?
You were good too! The foolish man gave me an obscure IP Address to use. Yea I know what IP is, I use to study telecommunications before I became an actress. Hmmm, no security, I guess nobody was expecting to find it. Wow there is lots of data here, I am already getting messages from people!
Well I am going to stick with this "Data Node One" until I can get some answers. I talked to your partner and he gave me your number for future reference. I also sent you a little reward for your trouble. It was really nice working with ya sweetie!
Summary: Search the MegaCity for more answers.
Cheena Turner: Splendid that you have come back to me! I must have left a billion messages on your partner's machine!
Now, I have investigated the workings of this Data Node One and I found some more information. The one who knows about the Matrix the most is a man named Morpheus. Some think he is dead while some think he is away, either way people talk about this man like he is god and I would like to meet with him.
Since he has apparently dropped off the face of the earth, I hope to find someone that knew him well enough to tell me where he is or even what the Matrix is! I found some one on there who is willing to meet with me. A hacker type named neph0t.
Now of course I cannot go there, with the media hounding every step I take they would sure to gossip me to death by dealing with such riff raff! That is why I want to send one of their own, like yourself, to speak for me. I think you would have a better time than I am.
P.S. I am know on there as SweetyStar. I know its very girlie but I thought it was cute!
Operator: SweetyStar? Oh boy, I am sure you are going to split sides with that one. Anyhow, Cheena as sent me where this neph0t is. Hope he is friendly, I am sure dealing with someone named SweetyStar he is expecting a hooker more than a hacker!
The Player tracks his way down to an apartment complex were they meet up with with neph0t.
Neph0t: Hi, are you SweetyStar? Erm, I thought you would...you know...look like a woman. No hard feelings. Anyhow, I use to be part of a club were hackers and phreakers hang out all the time. I am sure you heard of the Blue Box? That is the place! One of the members upstairs named "xor" would sell stuff up in one of the private rooms. I think he still does this since this day. I am sure if you ask him he can point to where the legendary Morpheus is. Er, your not a Fed are ya?
The Player leaves and Cheena Turner calls in again.
Cheena Turner: So this "xor" guy, man these screen names confuse me, knows where I can find Morpheus? Oh I know where the Blue Box is, I just have never been in there. I think you are going to have to search around a bit. Hope you do not get into any trouble!
Operator: I marked the Blue Box on the map. I know some Red Pills who still hang out there. Say it's a kick *CENSORED* place to stretch out after a mission!
The Player heads to the Blue Box, the electronica music pumping and pounding away.
Operator: ______ can you hear me! *CENSORED* it is loud in there! Don't be distracted by the pretty colors, you need to search for the top rooms for the guy. I cannot get a lock on him. Hello? Can you hear me? Its too *CENSORED* LOUD in there!
The Player searches the upper rooms until he finds the right room. The right room has bodies dead on the floor of what looks like authority officers. Cowering in the corner of the main room is xor.
Xor: Holy *poop*! Thank god you are here! The Feds came in and held me up, I guess as a set up for you. But then some guy with a hood came in and took them all out like nothing! I wanted to thank the man but he was gone like the magic dragon!
Morpheus? I believe he is dead from the Assassin. Do I know anyone who knew him? My current client did, is part of this group called "E Plurbus Neo" what ever the hell that is suppose to mean. I don't speak Latin kid! Normally they are shut out to most of the people but....here! Deliver the thing they wanted from me and they will let ya in!
Operator: Good idea.
The Player takes from xor the "Modified Ham Radio" and leaves the area.
Operator: Feds setting up ambushes for ya? Sounds like they have caught on that Turner wants out. This is not good.
Cheena Turner calls in again.
Cheena Turner: E Plurbus Neo...from many, one? Sounds like someone knows their Latin! I wonder what it means though? Hmmm, I think I need to focus at the task at hand.
Find this Plurbus Neo group and give them what they want. Hopefully in return they can then point me to Morpheus!
Operator: Just searched the nearest signal...got a lock! I am sending you the crew's location. Hope they are not too hostile!
The Player moves to a normal, inconspicuous looking building in the Mega City. Inside, various E Plurbus Neo operatives are in operation at their base and do not take too kindly to you. Some fight you as you find their group leader, Qinto.
Quinto: Hold off everyone, let the man speak! What do you want? You have something for us? You fools, _____ here simply wanted to give us xor's package! Bring it here operative!
The Player gives Quinto the Modified Ham Radio.
Quinto: Excellent work ______! I apologize for my men, we have so many enemies some times my crew forgets we have friends too!
Opeartor: I guess being shot repeatedly is their way of saying thank you! Jerks. Oh, do not forget to ask him about Morpheus!
The Player asks Quinto about Morpheus.
Quinto: So you are looking for people who knows Morpheus huh? I know the obvious answer seems like Kid, but I have a little secret to tell you. There is a man who has known Morpheus even before Trinity was part of his crew. He is one of the old boys. I know because Kid has constantly asked him to join our ranks but we keep on getting turned down. His name is Bixby. If you want to meet him then good luck, the man is about as receptive as a brick wall.
The Player manages to leave but then out of no where, a Regime member emerges!
Regime Officer: FREEZE! YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!
Operator: *poop*! The Feds! Well you have the right to kick his *CENSORED*!
The Player combats the Regime Officer for a short period until out of no where again, an Illuminoid jumps into the fray!
Illuminoid: This must be! He must live!
The Illuminoid helps combat the Regime Officer until he is down.
If the player talks to the Illuminoid, the hooded figure has this to say.
Illuminoid: It was your destiny to remain a free man _______. I had to stop him. I also am allowed to give you this message from my mistresses. "Know yourself, and know your body." The meaning is up for you to know.
Operator: ....ok....that was weird....
The Player finally leaves the building and Cheena Turner calls back.
Cheena Turner: So there is a man named Bixby that knows Morpheus. So he must know the Matrix too. I did a search and I have found his name on Data Node One. Blocked. I will find him no matter what it takes for me to do! I must know the answer!
Great work untangling this mess sweetie! I have sent you and your partner another reward! If you are around the area, stop by for a visit! I will have more help solving this mystery with you than alone!
:..>A World Beyond The World
Summary: Locate an assailant for questioning.
Cheena Turner: Wow today was a crazy morning! I was up doing my yoga routine after my morning tea and the FBI showed up. At least he looked like FBI. His name was....Bennett? Never gave me a first name, I hope I did not do anything wrong!
Anyhow, even though I had to pester the man a billion times on Data Node One I managed to set up a meeting with him. I want you to put your phone on speaker and make him tell me what is this Matrix! I called your partner and gave him your location!
Operator: Bixby is going to meet you? Wow, that guy is normally dead to the world even by Zion standards. I have the co-ordinates here. Lets hope things go smoothly.
The player enters and entertainment hall full of guests and entertainers getting ready for acts. There is a Elite Guard on this floor that the Player needs to talk to.
Elite Guard: What do you want? Bixby? He just finished his act. Head up stairs and if he can be bothered with he'll let you in.
Operator: Wow a Guard that does not want to beat us down for a change? The world is mad I tell ya!
Upstairs, the Player finds Bixby in his swim trunks and robe all wet sulking around.
Bixby: You must be SweetyStar, or at least a contact of that annoying *CENSORED*. Heh. I must admit she is persistent. Sit down kid, and let me tell you what I think.
The Player sits down and waits a bit.
Bixby: Kid here is the deal. I know you, I have hear you around the circuit. I know of all the feats you have pulled off and how successful were to the people you worked for. Thing is, compared to the stuff I have seen Morpheus does I do not want you to get an ego the size of Alaska ok? You may think you are hot *poop*, but there is always a bigger fish out there.
That then brings me to your boss. I know she is intelligent and she is curious, but I do not think she has the chops to be free. I know, I know, how can people be truly free if overseer's like me get to pick and chose. The thing is it is a rough world out there, you know just like I. I just do not think during a high tense situation she would be able to handle herself.
If she is serious about it though, I can give her a few tips on various things but that is it. I am in enough heat as it is and when Morpheus disappeared....I don't really know who to trust anymore. That is my tip to you kid, trust no one. Here take this.
The Player takes from Bixby a "Bixby Business Card".
Bixby: Give this to her to ponder over-wait. What is this?
He takes a device from the player.
Bixby: On you way here? Did the Feds get to you? Did they touch you?
He panics.
Bixby: We are out of luck kid. The pigs bugged you at one point, most likely slipped it on you during a scrapping. They do that when they think the target gets away. I hear them, they are coming up the stairs, tons of them. They are after me, but they will take anyone so I suggest you get the hell out of here. Here is a hint, the back door should be your first step. Do you have your escape route? I have mine...
With that Bixby disappears into thin air!
Operator: _______ get the hell out of there, they have an entire army on every floor of the building! Move!
If the Player takes the back door immediately, he will avoid two Regime members breaking into the room. The Player must fight his way through the various tenants and hallways filled with the Regime out of the building until he finally makes it out alive.
Operator: How the hell did Bixby disappear like that? No wonder why he is a good escape artist! All that for a business card? Bastard! Drop that off at the hardline and I will give Cheena a call.
The Player uploads Bixby's Business Card to the hardline and Cheena Turner calls shortly after.
Cheena Turner: I am crushed. He thinks that I do not deserve the answer to my question? After all the hard work I have put in and you have gone through? What a meanie! This is not fair! I take all this time out of my day and risk my life for a stinkin' phone number!
Ok, relax Cheena. Remember what the old woman told you. You are a good, resourceful woman who can handle situations like this. I will just have to give this number a call and hope someone picks up.
I am so sorry for what I had to put you through. You ran into the law, that is some heavy stuff right there! Bixby must be in with a lot of people. FBI? CIA? Homeland Security? Is he a terrorist or something?
Does not matter, he knows what the Matrix is and he is my way to find out!
Here is a reward for all the crap I had to put you through. I promise next time things will be better. They have to be! I will make it so!
Summary: Plant a bug on a Machine Program
Cheena Turner: Hi _____. Sorry for not sounding so cheerful lately but I am just so...pissed off...ARG!
Ok, I need to calm down. That was not very lady like. Here is what has been going on.
I have constantly called Bixby's number but all I get his the *CENSORED* answering machine. He has not picked up and it has been weeks now! Why bother to give me his number if he is not going to pick up the phone. I bet you he just gave it up just to get me off his back! How rude!
So here is how I figured it. I looked up his name more on Data Node One. He is in big, big trouble from authorities all over the place! So I figure, if we track down the police officers in pursuit, I can then finally get back to him!
I made a deal with a good friend of mind. He tinkers with all sorts of do-dats and works repair wonders on my private limos! I ordered a device from him and I want you to pick it up. Once you do, I will tell you what you are going to do with it.
Its time I hear back from Bixby, nobody ditches Cheena Turner!
Operator: Ok, I have the location and its on your map now. I wonder what this device is and how it is going to help us?
The Player treks his way to an seemingly abandoned garage but when enters find its teaming with activity.
Operator: I picked up an exile at 5 o'clock. Is that Cheena's friend she was talking about?
A few rooms down the Player finds Mercury tinkering away at various objects. When asks Mercury responds.
Mercury: You must be the person Cheena was talking about, ______ right? Here is the tracer she asked for. I made it to her specifications, I think it is one of my best work yet, much better than Silver and his cracker jack's spy device he was trying to sell. I can't stick around. I have to be finished with this circuit board in an hour before I take Pepper to the movies. I hope to have fun tonight if you know what I mean.
Operator: Waaaay more information than I needed to know! Take the tracer from him, I wonder who Cheena wants you to track?
The Player takes from Mercury the "Tracer Merc-01" and leaves the area. Cheena Turner calls in.
Cheena Turner: Splendid! Quite splendid indeed! Ok here is the plan.
The security in the area has reported in some bad people that sneaked in last night. Really bad. Like I have heard bad things about them, supposedly they are part of some cult and they...drink blood. Ew, I know! Anyhow, I want you to go in with the men to deal with them seeing how big and strong you are! After they are done, put the Tracer on their cloths and call the police.
If Mercury managed to do what I told him, this whole thing should work. Ok, here is the place where some of the boys hang out. Pick them up and they will bring you to the place so you can clean house!
Operator: She sent me the location. Its a pub. Get those guys and lets crush some heads!
The Player makes it way to the bar and finds two members of the Talkies to take with him.
Mitchell: Yes sir, you are who Mistress Turner asked for. We will deal with the situation!
Egbert: Roger that sir, we will show you were the hostiles are. Time to blow some freaks away.
Operator: Ok got the grunts, now here is where they told me the location is. Get packing and put in that pack some heat!
The Player arrives at a normal apartment but instead of heading up where the people are, they head down into the basement levels.
Operator: Wow, Cheena was not kidding, I detect Vamp programs in the area. Lets wake them up with some morning wood!
Mitchell: Suck heads at 12 o'clock! Spread and shoot!
Egbert: Ready for flank, waiting for orders sir!
The Player and the Talkies eliminate some low level Disciples grunts and find inside the back areas three tough Blood Drunk/Nobles. After the Vamps are killed the Operator chimes in.
Operator: Ok, plant the bug on one of the three Drunk/Nobles and then call 911. Why are we putting a tracer on a dead body, I have no idea. Make sure you bolt after the call, I am sure the cops are still after your hide!
After looting the three Vamps, the Player plants the Tracer on one of them and then finds the phone in the basement to call the police.
The Player leaves (or faces the Regime if too slow) and Cheena Turner calls him again.
Cheena Turner: Excellent! I am most proud of you!
Ok so this is the way this works. The Tracer that my friend made will latch on to the skin. I don't know exactly how it works, but when one of the government guys inspects the body, the Tracer will be on him and we will now know where ever he goes. He also assured me it will follow him if he takes off his cloths or anything, it locks on and traces him only!
So, to make sure we have really done this right, lets see where the G-Man will be now. Ah! There is the signal. I have sent the same location to your partner. Lets see how this goes!
Operator: Updated the co-ordinates. You know, Bixby was right, that girl is a smart one.
The Player makes his way to another high rise building and enters.
Operator: I see some programs in the area, be on your guard!
The Player inspects the various offices until he encounters two Cleaner programs and Agent Bennett.
Agent Bennett: You are not authorized in this area Mr. _______. Please leave the area now!
Operator: I say do what he says before he shoots you.
The Player leaves and Cheena Turner calls back even more ecstatic than before.
Cheena Turner: Oh, bravo! Marvelous work you did ______! That G-Man, Bennett is the one with the tracer! He must have been on the scene and inspected the body, so now we know where ever he goes! A Agent in my pocket, who knew?
Now with this man under my control, I think I can now find out where Bixby is slinking off too as soon as he gets in trouble!
Here is a reward for a work well done. Spend it well!
Summary: Help out Zion Crew from termination.
Cheena Turner: _______! Thank god you are here! Sorry for the lack of a rosy greeting but this is urgent!
You know how I said that when Bixby gets in trouble we will know? Well I should not have spoke too soon an jinxed it. The chatter I hear over the bug states that Bixby and his posse are under lock down and surrounded by the police right now! We have to help him because once the arrest him, they could send him to Guantanamo or worse!
I just called your partner earlier for the place the police said he was hiding out in. Hurry! He may be already under cuffs now!
Operator: Sorry I did not call in sooner ______ but I just got back from break! Just when I think I can relax this crap happens! Ok, I got him pinned down on the GPS. Godspeed ______!
The Player heads to an industrial skyscraper and enters the lobby. However when he enters, Agent Bennett from before is there standing.
Agent Bennett: Humans. They make such gross...calculations. Do you think that I did not know you put this on me?
The Agent shows the Player the bug.
Agent Bennett: Now you have both fallen into my trap. My men will apprehend Mr. Bixby and I will silence you so that Ms. Turner remains where she is the most save....asleep.
Operator: _______, run!
Agent Bennett begins to try to combat The Player but before a shot can be fired or a fist flung, the Agent suddenly and violently explodes!
Operator: HOLY *poop* WHAT THE *CENSORED* HAPPENED!?! He just...blew up? Holy *poop* dude! Uh! Uh! Cheena is calling in...
Chenna: Oh no he didn't! I knew the G-Man might try something like this so I had my friend include a explosive in that tracer that I can control with a signal from here just like I did. Pretty smooth huh?
No time for celebration! We must save Bixby before it is too late!
Operator: Wow. Now I have truly seen everything. A blue pill. Outsmarted and killed an Agent. The mind has now been boggled. Ok, focus here! Go to the Security Room up ahead and see if you can get access to the cameras.
The Player finds his way through the building until he stumbles on a few security guards.
Security: Yea they have the bastard pinned down up stairs. Sick and tired of this red pill *poop*. I bet in a few minutes they will all be toast. What-whose there!?! Freeze!
After the Player wipes the floor with the Security Team, he then locates the small Camera Room where he looks at the TV Monitors.
Operator: What country are they invading? There are like...hundreds of these guys on every square foot of this place? Holy crap, what to do? What to do?
A short moment passes.
Operator: Ok. Cheena called in and gave me an idea that while is not going to be fair to you is our only option I can see so far. Unless you can sneak up and kill all of them, pull the alarm in the room and divert all the units to the Security Area so you can take them out. Ok, you ready? You packing? Lets shatter teeth of some rent-a-cops!
The player has choices here. If he has a team big enough he can try to barge in, if he has stealth he can try to sneak up and kill every one of them.
Or he can do what the Operator said and sound the Alarm, causing every Regime officer to poor in four men at a time. After the Player has defeated many, many units....bodies piled up over bodies, the Operator chimes in.
Ok, I located them! They have about two men to cover the door. Take them out and get Bixby's crew out of there!
The Player rushes to the end room where two Regime members. As the Player combats one, a few of Bixby's crew comes out to take down the other one. When both are down, one points a gun at the Player.
Trax: Hold it buster!
Bixby: Put your gun down Trax! ______, I see we meet again. I guess she was serious after all. We must hurry, get to another safe house and lay low for a while. I cannot get a signal in here so lets get outside so I can tell your operator where to go.
Exn0r: *CENSORED* safe houses...why are they NEVER safe?
As everyone including the crew follows the Player outside, they pass by where Agent Bennett exploded but in its place is a burning Regime member.
Rez: Holy *poop*!
Exn0r: Was that the Agent that was chasing us?
Bixby: Hmm, she was serious. Very serious.
Trax: Jesus! Remind me to never *CENSORED* off your boss ______!
The Player with Bixby and crew in tow manages to get onto the streets and Cheena Turner calls back.
Cheena Turner: Yes! Bixby is alive. Ok, do what he says and lets get him to a safe place!
Bixby: Five bars. I am telling my Operator to send you the location now.
Operator: Location received. Giving you the placement. Escort Bixby to the safe house and watch your back! The Regime is on a look out for you guys!
The Player and Bixby's Crew has a chance of being attacked by Regime members spawning in until the Player reaches the safe house.
Once in its depths, Bixby talks to the Player
After the Player has said goodbyes to the rest of the crew,
Cheena Turner: Yes! Yes! It worked! My plan worked! Of course I could not have done it without you, could I ______? We work very well as a team! I knew it the first time I saw you walk through my door frame that good things will come of this partnership and I was right!
Maybe now Bixby can answer my question. What is the Matrix? I don't know but I feel like I am at the next step to find out!
Funny how things work out. If you do not mind, I thought I would share a small anecdote so we can calm down from all the action today. Back in the mid point of the Burlyman shoot, I was out walking with Stephen DeGaulle who was playing the lead man and my character's love interest....I wonder where he is now? Anyhow, during that break we decided to crash out in Babbage Square.
In the square was this old woman with what I believed to be her caretaker. She had dark skin and was just feeding the birds, she reminded me of my grandmother. We talked for a bit about life and the city, and she told me that she though I was a good, resourceful woman who would go on to do great things one day. When I asked if she was sure, she said asked if I believed in fate and said she could prove it with the tarot. After a few cards, my end came to a card known as The Star and she said that proved my worth. She gave it to me and said I could keep it.
I never saw her again but I will always remember her words. A Star is the most welcome when grief and despair have overwhelmed us. In our darkest moments, we need to know that there is hope, that there is light at the end of the tunnel. However, I know know after all this that a Star can only shine as bright as it's mantle.
And that mantle is you _______!
I have mailed you a package to your assistant, you should get it. Think of it as the final farewell gift for putting up with me! Oh! Bixby just called my phone! He actually called me! I hope now he answers my question ________! I will now finally know what the Matrix is! I cannot wait!
Au revoir _____! Au revoir!
Next up, random facts about the Entertainment District and our next contact, Jet “The Strength” Dempsey. Soon. I promise. No more 8 billion years between updates!

Quests and Rewards
Now here is a break I am going to do while working on the next group of Neighborhood Contact missions. This is a list of special quests and things you can find in the Entertainment District. This is not a whole list, because this leaves out the "Path of the Source Quest" system. However, like I said, this district contains many secrets and rewards for those who can brave death and torture to get them.
--Data Miner Hostiles--
As with the newest updates, when you Data Mine sometimes you uncover programs that will fight you and in tern you will get a reward from a safe. However, unlike the other districts, the Entertainment section has its own unique brand of hostiles that show up when you try to Data Mine. They all have their own stories and are tougher than most of the gangs in the neighborhood.

--Forbidden Code PvP Quest--
Hay, for all the Player Vs Player people out there, do not think I forgot about you! I know how rivalries and skirmishes are important in the Matrix so I have created a new Quest just for the Entertainment District that revolves around PvP; The Forbidden Code Quest!
Because of all the code leakage and stress on the system, Forbidden Codes have started to appear in the system. Nobody knows what these are but according to the Machines, they are very potent chunks of manipulative data that can be used to do extraordinary things in the Matrix.
Each organization wants to capture them, study them and use their power for their own causes. However, it will not be easy.
First thing is you will need a Decryption Tool. Yup, that useless tool is now working! One of the things it can do is decrypt an Encrypted Log. Encrypted Logs, once Decrypted, can be activated to located the Forbidden Code in Elohim. The cost to do this is pretty high so you might want to level up the Cryptography ability as far as you can!
Next, you are going to need a Operative, a Hacker and a Coder. In each section there is a new ability that can be coded that will help you obtain the Forbidden Code. You will need one person per category because said ability must be at level 50 to get the new one.
Touch of Death -- Instantly kills Guardian programs. Requires Operative Ability Level 50.
Source Hack -- Takes the source code surrounding the Matrix and forms them into a block of concentrated code. Requires Hacker Ability Level 50.
Forbidden Box Compile -- Codes a safe template that can harbor the Forbidden Code. Requires Coder Ability Level 50.
Now, here is what you need to do.
First you need to find an Encrypted Log. You can find them in missions, short quests, new collectors items, random NPC, ect.
There are usually two codes per month.
Once founded, you need to decrypt it. Once decrypted and you have all three new abilities you can activate it in Elohim. Once you have located it, have the Coder use the Forbidden Box Compile. Then have the Hacker use the Source Hack. Once the box is fully formed, The Guardian will come out and defend the box. There is no way you can damage the guy unless you have an Operative use the Touch of Death.
Once The Guardian is dead, you can open the safe and obtain the Forbidden Code!
Here is the catch. The Forbidden Code is a luggable. You can throw it to other players and it disables your Hype Jump so this will not be easy.
Once you grab the Forbidden Code, you and anyone who picks it up gets flagged for PVP, your co-ordinates are broadcasted in chat and you are marked on every player's map.
The main object of the game is to get the Forbidden Code to your Org's base. When the first person picks it up, their main base and a rivals is erected in the lower left and right corners of Staneburgh, while another rivals base is erected at the top middle of Staneburgh. For instance if the Player who initially picked it up was a Zionist, his base would spawn on the lower left, the Machines on the Lower right and the Merovingian on the middle top.
If the player moves outside of Staneburgh, then that player loses the Forbidden Code and it warps in a random spot in Staneburgh.
Who ever drops off the code to their base first gets one point for their team. After three months the Org with the most points wins and for the next three months that Org will have something special done for them. For instance the Machinists get to call in Agents for Back-Up or the Merovingians get some exclusive item.
Oh and do not worry about a lack of people trying to get at you. After a moment rival Org's will send in various people to help take you down. Here is the table.
::Zion::
Drop Off Point Person -- Hertz
Wave One -- Zion Operatives
Wave Two -- E Plurbus Neo
Wave Three -- Niobe & Ghost
::Merovingian::
Drop Off Point Person -- The Effectuator
Wave One -- Elite Guards
Wave Two -- Dire Exiles
Wave Three -- The Twins
::Machines::
Drop Off Point Person -- Database
Wave One -- Regime Troops
Wave Two -- Prototypes
Wave Three -- Agent Jones & Agent Brown
There is also another way to win this. The entire game has a timer of 10 minutes to declare the winner. If no winner is declared, then the Forbidden Code turns into a Greed Fragment, is no longer a luggable and the deal is off.
Greed Fragments can be traded with the The Querent to get a wearable random clothing item named after the Player. IE Darrius' Shades. These can be traded and have random high buffs that are used like the Awakened Glasses/Trench.
