I have to say a simply awesome idea I love it.  I think it would take time to make the update for it but other then that it would be really cool.  Like you said It would give a more realistic matrix feel to it.  I mean link wasn't the operater for all the hovercrafts and captains in the matrix why would he have to be in this matrix as well?  I do love the idea.  But i have to disaagree with the part of it taking away from the coder tree ability.  You could use the coder tree for indiviual things you know to custimize for the player but the operater for the whole crew not just for the player themselves.  Like I said awersome idea I'm surprise and very imppressed that you brought that idea up.  I hope the dev's take a look at it and take it into great consideration. BRAVO 10 STARS for you my man. 10 STARS.
