LinksLife looked at the man before him. Long... lanky... weak. But a Frenchman severent and therefore he had to show him with the respect that others would show him.
He was in a strange room... a building that he didn't even know existed. But he was alright with that... after all he wanted to do this with as few people as possible. Not even The Great Wyrm knew of what he was going to do. But Links was alright with that... Wyrm would learn of this soon enough.
The man looked neverous. "Are you sure you want to go through with this Monsieur? I can understand if-"
"No I must go through with this... I must prove that I am not the same Links that everyone had come to know. Lets get this over with." said Links coldly. He knew all the reasons as to why he was going to do this. The sign of the Ouroborus was more than just a sign. It symbolized the passing of all his previous lifes... His bluepill life... The life of Vanon... The old Links. Three lifes had come and gone... it was only right that he put this sign on him.
The severent took a small metal object with a design carved into it and places it in a blazing fire. After a few minutes he took it out, the metal glowing light red. Links fell on his knees and held out his right hand. The man stoped when he saw that Links had left his gloves on. " Um... Monsieur? Don't you think..." Links glared at the severent and the man didn't contiune his sentence.
He placed the metal on the back of Links' right hand and a awful hiss rang out as hot metal met leather and flesh. Links also let out a hiss as he struggled to keep his hand from moving away. After about 5 seconds of pain the man pulled the metal away and stood silent. Links stayed on his knees for a second, gripping his hand. He let a small chuckle escape his lips as he slowly rose from the ground. "Thank you sir... you may leave now." Links hissed. The severent ran out as fast as he could.
"With this symbol... my fourth life begins!"
((For those of you who don't know, the Ouroborus is a winged serpent that consumes its own tail representing the cycle of life and death. I thought it would be fitting for Links... seeing as he has gone through the cycle a few times. For a visual, the symbol is on my sig.))
