Dear OpenSorce, dear Nocti,
Word has spread upon the relentless rumor mill that I had explicitly attempted to exclude the Nocti from the recent meeting of the Merovingian faction leaders. While I cannot entirely agree with your involvement with Merovingian affairs since you have stated it to me quite clearly in recent light that your faction is indeed -not- a Merovingian faction, but a group of orgless warriors, I still thought it best to explain myself.
More than a month or so ago EndlessVoid spoke with me regarding the assembly of the recent meeting, this was during my last days with the Nocti. You see, up until my last days with the faction I was under the impression that the Sidus Noctis was a Mervingian faction and so served/recruited for/ and represented them as such. Due to internal affairs and massive miscommunication OpenSorce shed some light on the true nature of the faction I had been serving since .. it's conception.
As I recall, I thought that EndlessVoid told me that he had spoken prior with OpenSorce and that OS had expressed his disinterest with working alongside Merovingians thus forfeiting his seat in the meeting. Because internal negotiations were still going on I told EndlessVoid that I would represent the Nocti until the various matters were sorted, I thought if anything, the Nocti should still have a representative present for even though they are orgless, they still carry the Merovingian tag.
Speaking with EndlessVoid recently he thought he had heard that OpenSorce was disinterested and had welcomed my offer in his stead. Void and I agreed that this was a miscommunication on both our parts as I would do no such thing to specifically try to exclude a faction from participating in an event. All this took place prior I believe to the Nocti's attacks on the MadHattah and during the week of my depature from them to form my own faction.
In addition, I was not even able to attend the afore mentioned meeting ((rl obligations and such)).
And so I'd like to apologize to the Nocti first and foremost for the miscommunication on my behalf. You were my family and I respected you dearly, even after the departure I still speak highly of the Nocti as some of the best fighters on this server. In any event, it's never a good thing to feel ostracized. I have not the pride to think that I am incapable of making mistakes.
I am glad that you were still able to attend the meeting. Perhaps meeting with the Merovingain leaders, Ookami, and the MadHattah reconstructed has inspired you to serve the Merovingian once more for I suppose you've found that being an orgless warrior upon an island can be quite lonesome. You'll always have a place in our community as your talents as a whole are quite exceptional.
