Caillech's Kidnapping
Calliech and Vengany very having fun, dancing, drinking and laughing together like the good friends they are at the club, Venmm's club in Shinjuku WC. Both had a bit more to drink than usual but neither were concerned knowing that their Lupine coding would quickly nullify and negative effects from the alcohol. Both felt a bit drunk though, whether from the alcohol or the fun they were having neither knew, or cared the reason. Things had been stressful in the Pack again and they needed a break. Sadly neither Rikhu, Vengany's special friend, or Venmm, Prince of the Pack and Cail's husband had been able to join them tonight. Nor had other Pack members been jacked in. Their relaxation time had been taken on a whim and they were glad to have it.
Only about two weeks before Cail, driven wild with jealousy had Wolfess killed and had left the Pack. She returned, missing Venmm and her Pack mates too much to remain away and accepted her punishment. Then last night, they learned that ReeVerb had left the Pack. Cail, Rikhu and Cape were together, grieving and devestated by this lose. Verb, gone, it did not seem possible! Wolfess had joined them and after an ugly scene she left the Pack. Venmm had been furious about this and the tension in the Pack was so high you could cut it with a knife. Cail thought of all these things as she and Benny, danced, drank and laughed and she focused on letting go of the stress she felt and enjoying this play time.
Finally they agreed they'd best head back to the crafts, Despite the protection of the Lupine coding, both needed sleep and tomorrow could well be another very stressful day given all the Pack needed to sort out. "Put all this on Venmm's tab" Cail laughingly called to the bartender, noticing that as she did, he picked up the phone. Benny made some joke and she turned to laugh with him as they began to ascend the steps to leave the club, still laughing together.
Once outside the fresh air struck Cail and she felt a bit dizzy, slowing her steps somewhat and *giggling* "my I did drink a bit much." Benny continued walking. Cail felt the heel on the fashionable boots she wore catch, and bent down to be sure it had not broken, then she stiffened. Something in the air, something her Lupine senses felt, something not right. It screamed of danger and she felt her human form begin to slip away as she changed into the Lupine she was. Benny, she shouted and he turned, just noticing she was no longer walking beside him. "Benny, there's danger, watch out!" Before the words left her mouth, they struck! Machines and zions attacking her and shooting at Benny. Many of them and they seemed to want to kill Benny. Cail screamed "Benny" and fought her way toward him wounding many attackers as she did, but they kept coming.
Mendelevious, coding on a near by roof heard the shots, thinking only that someone in the area must be killing spawn. He continued his work, but the noise got louder and he heard a scream. He stood, leaving his task half done and rushed along the roof top in the direction of the scream to notice a group below. One man on the ground, a woman surrounded and being carried off by the attackers. She was screaming, "Benny, no you killed him!" and fighting as best she could with claws and fangs but sheer numbers overwhelmed her. He heard one of the attackers yell, "don't harm her, we need her code," and then they were at the HL and gone. His sharp hearing overheard, "to the hideout, Midian" before the code faded. And he moved, jumping to Benny's side and scooping him up not dead but badly wounded. Only then did he stop to notice, this was Vengany of the WolfPack and the woman abducted must have been Caillech.
Mendel rushed to the HL and got emergency contact with Vengany's craft so he would be transported there for medical attention. Mendel then began the process of searching for Cail.
In the meantime, Cail, mad with anger and grief, now bound tightly and unable to resist was being taken to a hideout. "What is this? what are you doing, what do you want," she screamed at her captors. "You know Venmm and the Pack will hunt you down and kill you all." The leader, someone named Trommler laughed at Cail. "They will never find you, and we'll have samples of your code to make an effective weapon against Lupines, one that will kill them!" Trommler laughed, an evil sound to Cail's ears and she shivered, as much with anger as fear. She knew that only she and Venmm had the coding that could change others to Lupines. Did this kidnappers think her code could give them what they needed to make a weapon. She had to admit, she did not know the answer to that question.
She was taken into a building through a back door, into a back room and shoved roughly into a chair. "Stay there Lupine **bleep**," she heard, "while we contact our transport to get you to the lab." Then all hell broke loose. There was shooting, shouting and sounds of blows being made from the front of the building. The small room suddenly filled with people. She recognized ambrose1 of Consequence and D3athblad3 but there were so many others. Where was the Pack. Mendel appeared too. She heard ambrose1 screaming to her, "Cail get out, get outside," She leaned down and her sharpened cannines bit cleanly through the ropes binding her, cast them aside and staggered to her feet, looking around her, feeling dazed by the battle. "How did they get here so quickly?" she wondered, then again heard ambrose1 scream at her, "Cail move your *CENSORED*, get outside, we're here to rescue you by Static's orders." Cail shook off her confusion and moved, pushing and fighting her way to the door. Hands tore at her, she kicked and hit those who tried to hold her and with effort made it outside where the battle raged in full force. So many fighting! Ambrose found her then and shoved her toward the HL, "move Cail, get out of here, now!" Stunned she did as she was told, seeing just as the HL transported her way Venmm's arrival and heard his shout, "Cail!"
Then she was gone, ambrose with her, taking her to a Consequence safe house. Cail was confused, "ambrose1 what is this, what just happened?"
She felt stunned and dazed as ambrose explained. Staticzero had information from his spies that you were going to be abducted, taken for your extra Lupine code and ability to change others to Lupines. "Static could not allow that to happen Cail, he instructed me to protect you and I've had a tracer on you for days now." Cail felt overwhelmed but there was more. "Static is again your protector Cail, your coding is too valuable and it's become obvious to Static that Venmm and the Pack cannot protect you. Consequence and the Merovingian cannot allow an effective weapon against Lupines to be developed. No-one knows if Zion and the Machines could use you to develop that weapon, but Static will not allow that chance to be taken. Nor will the Merovingian. You are under the protection of Consequence Caillech and we will keep you hidden and safe as long as is necessary.
Caillech hung her head and cried, so much, so much, she thought, all this danger to me and the Pack. She did not like to leave the Pack, but given what she had been told, she decided Staticzero was correct. She accepted the protection of Consequence.
