First BirthThere were seven of us at the beginning, our goal was simple. We started a faction to help discover the fate of the One. I was the runt of the liter, because I was the weakest. I was not as experienced with anything yet. I guess I still haven’t learned much.
We adopted the names of the angels, Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Virtues, Powers, and Principalities. These names soon changed to ranks. The seven of us were soon all known as the Seraphim. Others joined us, they were ranked as Cherubim, Thrones, etc, depending on their loyalty to us. That was our first mistake.
A few of us became some what power hungry. Our power over the lower ranked angels sometimes went to our heads. I was treated no better then most low ranks, even though I was a Seraphim.
As time passed the lower ranks began to fell we were overly controlling of them. They were right for a few of us. But that’s when we decided it better to remain as just us, the Seraphim. So we exiled the low ranks from CH. Our second mistake that would result in our loss of everything.
Angels of the OneThe seven of us dedicated ourselves to finding Neo. When Morpheus began his crusade against the machines, the code bombings, we gladly helped him. Although his methods seemed irrational we still followed him.
And then the Assassin came, the demon who would destroy us all. We tried to protect Morpheus but we were not strong enough. That’s when the assassin took the lives of the first two Seraphim. When that happened the rest of us lost track of Morpheus. By the time we learned where he was it was to late.
During the crusade to avenge Morpheus we all we could. But the Lupines had plans of their own for us. With the Merovingians help they created the Lupine virus, later on known as the “Black Angel”. It was a parasite, it infected our RSIs. We could not reconstruct or even jackout for that matter. We were once again trapped in the matrix.
One by one we were hunted down. Until there was only three of us left. If we had been better prepared, and if we were not so blinded by the power we had given ourselves things would be different. But we were only human, and greed was still a large part of our lives.
Celestial DuelIt shocked me to find out there was a traitor among the three remaining Seraphim. We found out that our HvCft had been sabotaged when our Operator was reported murdered for sometime. He had been out of contact for awhile, ever sense we were first infected with the virus.
Still we were all trapped in the matrix and could not let mistrust cloud our judgment. Looking back now it was painfully obvious who the traitor was. But we had to keep looking for a way to remove the virus from our RSIs.
About six weeks later, after our operator was murdered, we found a way to nullify part of the virus’s effect on us. We could once again reconstruct. But there was a problem with this. The traitor stole the data frags for this anti-virus program that would allow us to reconstruct. I will refer to him by the name Cherub. Cherub mortally wounded the other Seraphim. Before she died she made me swear that I would survive and rebuild CH the way it was suppose to be. But before I could do that I had to make sure Cherub did not go unpunished for his actions.
I hunted him down before he was able to upload the anti-virus at a hardline. It was at this point where the Celestial Duel began. Our fight was short, we fought our hardest. In the end, on top of the Rogers Way monument, I defeated Cherub and recovered the stolen anti-virus. I uploaded them to my RSI as soon as I could. At this point I was the last Seraphim. The last Angels of the One.
Second BirthI made a promise. I swore to my master that I would rebuild CH. And so I did. I created CH in the eyes she would have wanted it. And it had a new purpose. Instead of finding the One we were to keep the matrix in a balanced state between organizations. This way the truce brought by Neo would be sure to last as long as possible.
The Cypherites were our enemy. They wanted to destroy all other humans and go back to the matrix as a blue-pill. This was absurd, but they were set on doing so. Their actions made them our prime targets. They were all to be destroyed.
One faction, called the Masked Agenda was our first concern. We gathered info and later attacked. But they were stronger then we thought. They over powered us in numbers and in intelligence. It was at this point that I found out they had to much info. There was another spy in the new CH.
Angels of CodeThere were only three people in the new CH that I fully trusted. However one of them was not so trustworthy as I thought. But our campaign against the Cypherites continued.
It was not hard to discover who the spy was. But CH was created as a democracy now, so without proof to show to the others I could not claim he was the spy.
After the fall of the masked Agenda due to internal issues I decided to keep a close eye one the former leader, Espi. He was an exile who joined the Lupine group called the Wolf Pack. Ironic that they were Lupines and the parasite virus still within me decrypted parts of my own RSI to be Lupine. In a way I was half Lupine.
The Wolf Pack was an exile group, and although I wanted Espi dead, I could not. A truce between CH and the Wolf Pack was being made. Or rather a cease fire was temporarily holding us back. I underestimated Espi though. His spy in CH tried to accuse me of being a spy. How could I be the spy? When the other members of the new CH did not agree or disagree I began to lose faith in them.
RedemptionI was angry, more so then I had ever been. Which was odd. The Black Angel virus usually dulled my emotions. Not sure if that was good or bad. But either way I wanted Espi dead. An attack was made, and the cease fire between the Wolf Pack and CH was no more. I didn’t care though. I was so stupid.
Some of the members of CH left to join the Cypherites that day. I was outraged to hear this. It turned out they were not Cypherites though, they would only fight with them if ordered to by the Machines. How blindly they served. I guess I was not much different though. I served the other Seraphim as if my life depended on it.
There were only a few members in CH left, and so I promoted two of them to the rank of Seraphim. While they could never be true Seraphim I gave them the rights of one. I left them in charge of the remaining members in CH while I went to heal my broken spirit.
