hey everyone. There's been alot of interest in becoming reporters for the cerberus, but only a few have actually written reports so far. Please, we're wanting to get the next issue out as soon as possible so goto the website and forums and submit something to me in a PM.
Id have submitted my article 3 days ago but somthing is messed up with
the website currently i am unable to log in even with my correct PW ive
reset it and it still doesnt work any idea whats going on?
-don't make it too long. The longer the article is, the more likely its
going to need to be edited or scrapped all together. Look at the
Sentinel and previous issues of the Cerberus for appropriate lengths.
Also, this will help with getting more people into the Cerberus.
-Remember that even though we're catering more towards redpills we
don't want to be too blatant about repill culture...meaning it still
needs to be RP and at lease a semi-bluepill persepective.
-the earlier you submit an article the more likely it is to get into
the paper. If its well written and you submit it as soon after the last
issue hits the stand then there's an entire paper to fill and will go
directly into it if it meets the standards. The later you submit the
more likely that either a)there's not enough room or b)someone has
already done an article on that subject. This issue I ran into problems
with 4 people submitting articles about the Cerephytes...I put two of
them together to form one article and had to scrap one of them all
together. I don't like telling people no after they've put time into
something.
-there's a limit to the amount of personal ads I will put into the
paper. Maybe once it expands we'll make a larger section for it but we
need it to compare to the amount of content we have in articles...not
more. So I'll be taking in 3-5 personal ads every issue, so the earlier
the better. But the Cerberus reserves the right to take up as many as
we need if needed for an event...
-try to keep hyperlinks out of the article, but you can write the link
out...it just may not be linked...depending on optimization for web and
how much time I have to go in and edit the html file.
I don't even have the link for this anymore. But i will find it and next issue i will write something if i can come up with anything vaguely interesting or original.
the next paper will be coming out early next week, so send me a pm with an article if you want something in the paper. The later you send something in the less of a chance it'll get in the paper cause of layout issues.
i wouldnt mind having a go at it but its exams for the next two weeks, important ones too, but after that i would be more than willing to have a shot at it...
