Now i know i havent been in game much recently but from what i have read in the forums, it seems to me that these commandos are more interested in the way zion fights exiles than actually doing anything major against the merovingian.
i had the thought what if they are studying zions patterns of attack so that when the time comes they will be well prepared to defeat zion simply because zion were weak enough to accept help from an exile to destroy another.
also i believe if the merv does get deleted who do you think wants the position of power he has now?
my personal opinion of it all is as followed, the commandos are using zion to delete merv so the general can move into the mervs seat of power, the commandos are studying zionists fighting style as soon they will have to deal with them aswell, and zion are blindly accepting this help without considering the consequences, they are willingly training the commandos and giving them first hand knowledge and data on how they deal with exile programs.
please give me your views on this i am interested if anyone else has thort of this or has any ideas on the subject.

TO ALL ZION:
We do not know what the General's true motives are. That is a solid fact. There is no denying or getting around it. But what is being asked of you is not to trust The General, but to use his services. So far he has supllied us with weapons and soldiers. These are valuable instruments to defeat The Merovingian. The Merovingian is a bigger more real threat to us than any other. With the General's help we can shorten the Merv's life. Please do not be unwilling. Zion MUST stick together if we are to accomplish our goal. So you do not need to trust the General. But please Accept his help and tools.

as we've talked about it and i agree.

Although While the Merv and the General may be potential allies, this doesnt prove for a fact they are working together. So far the general still gave us weapons to combat exiles. Plus there are reports of Commandos raiding Merovingian bases. A sign of a truce? I doubt. Until we have concrete proof that the general is against us we must continue the current plan.
