Yes ladies and gents, I've been working hard the last little while to get all this together.

I've been reading the boards and seeing a lot of people have been getting groups together to get videos of the costumes.  Gratz to everyone who is participating in that.

What I have here is a little different.  These are uneditted, unscripted clips from the "megaparty" that AWR threw on every server (the Vector version, of course).  It's essentially "what I saw" during the Vector event.

There are clips of the party, and some battles with the evil pumpkin that was right outside the club.

Why did I go through all this trouble:

1)  People always say that Vector events are on the weak side, and don't work.  This proves them wrong.

2)  AWR usually competes the 3 servers, and the other 2 servers have already claimed victory over "who had more people".  But I'll tell ya - these clips span the course of over 6 hours (even though it's only 2 minutes of footage every little while) and our party only got stronger as the night went on.

Oh sure. I can explain the two minutes of jumping footage. Everyone was listening to The Black Market Radio, and the song said "Jump". So we did.

Besides, it may have been an AWR party in theory, but the REAL party didnt start 'till The Black Market showed up!

Yes, I believe that the party may have been started with Awakend Radio,
but the party didnt really start UNTIL The Black Market arrived.
I think the videos will tell the story.

Good job on the videos, The Black Market needed a little advertising.

Wizzy,

You know i was wondering whose party it was because no one could tell me. Who were the Awakened Radio Djs there? I must of missed them with their busy schedules on Recursion and Syntax.

Thanks a lot Mastatec.  Yes, it was quite the drain on time this weekend to stay the entire party, recode all the videos, then make the humble website.  But I'm an archivist at heart, so I feel that keeping a living record of "how it was" really helps puts things into perspective =).

As seen in the videos, the DJ for Vector was DJSitrom.  Now, I know a lot of people listen to their own stuff (I've tuned in quite a few times myself to TBMR - lemme give ya a bit congrats on it right here), but I usually like to tune to whoever organized the party =).

Oh, and another thing:  I kinda rushed production on the site, but I wanted to share any credit for my part with the the rest of CoZ.  Now, they didn't actually help with the taking of my videos.  But people like KROG and TI85Man pretty much emptied their wallets (KROG had won like 10 mil and I believe he spent it, and much more) running an impromptu Trivia game to bolster the party atmosphere.  Great job guys.

On a final note, this is actually my second creation.  The first is now defunct, but was like, pre-chapter 2 event screenshots.  It's the root of the site:  http://mxo.staticsynapse.com .  Check it out if ya feel nostalgic =P.  I ...was...planning another site:  complete battle logs of Enumerator+Vector of the Assassin.  I was pretty much at every battle we had with him (including a 1v1 rumble at Sobra Shores Church), and have some amazing screens from each one.  If ppl are interested, I can put an archive together for that.

Man this got kinda offtopic lol

Oh, no doubt there.  Many people donated to KROG (my measly donation included lol).  I just wanted to tell the story that he did actually win like 10 mil (from Trivia I think) or so, and he reinvested it for further prizes.  Definitely does not supercede the numerous, numerous donations that were given by the partygoers.

Kinda goes back to what I said b4.  It's that kinda team effort that builds good events (regardless of how many features a game has, how much sass and flash are put into it, or even how many people decide they'd rather have 3 more hours of ganking) - all you need is a (in some cases, small) group of players who try to make it a success.

Proof is in the screens and vids :smileyvery-happy:
