Ever since I've joined them (Friday) my overall mood towards this game
has improved. These are a great group of people that know their stuff
(Especially RP) and are always around to have fun. I've been lovin' it
ever since, and I know that the next people who join will love it too. :robotwink:

Time for a little new Guys related bump. I've been simply
overwhelmed by the number of applicants we've had lately, both from
experienced players wanting to swap to a better faction () and from
newbies. If we get everyone who's currently applied to join us, it'll
work out as 14 new members this week alone. Name me one other faction
who's that active

To congratualte a TGS member in the manner to which they are accustomed:

Oh, and Nightgaze's dominatrix tendancies. And M4rb's fixation with my simulcra. And d4shwear. And ... I'm gonna shut up now.

This is a great option in the matrix, joing one of the most helpful and reliable factions in game. We have great relations with our members and other machine orgs. Its fun and it PWNS so come on down.

Rather than the random, almost nonsensical faction structure most factions seem to have TGS have implemented a proper heirachical system. One rank 1 crew, 3 rank 2 crews ... and so on. We have one 'recruiting crew', the Polydectes, which I captain. All new recruits must pass through there, it's a vetting process which everyone in the faction knows about. People who want to join the faction only get in after filling in an application on our website, which is reviewed by both me and the faction leader before I give them a proper interview.

Recruits are moved out of PolyD into one of our active duty hovercraft after a week or two once they've settled in to the faction and shown they're not total noobs.

And you know what? It works. I'm proud to say that, IMO, TGS is the best thing going out there, because we make so much effort to ensure people'll fit in with us.

One of the other great things about starting in Polydectes is it gives you an opportunity to get to know everyone before making a decision about which crew you wish to be part of.

well not really. I will join who i like best. If i get into both i will decide who i think is the best crew for me.

That would involve you actually joining both factions for a short while to get to know their ins and outs. This is called 'faction hopping', and we ain't too cool with that.
