Why do you enjoy being in the faction/organization that you are in?

I follow the Merovingian simply because he's the only one that can provide me the kind of environment I need to evolve intellectually. Being a free mind requires you to live freely, and I need a situation where the only barriers to my freedom are the ones I set myself. Serving the exiles is the price I have to pay for my intellectual confort, and I'm ready to do it. Dealing with information is also something I'm expert in, and this is the Merovingian's speciality.
And why am I in Consequence... These are my friends and they know how important it is to hold tight. I need stability, I need to see that people around me have goals and I need the challenge faction life brings to a solitary man such as me. I'm not the typical Consequence member, more interrested in the politic side of things. But I think that having a wide spectrum of talents such as in Consequence makes us the force we are.

I enjoy being in Consequence because of great PvP and the overall awesome-ness of the people.

No faction, unfortunately. (There are too many things right now that would keep me from being active on a regular basis. And a little bit of clan/guild/faction burnout. :smileysad: )

As for organization... I like Agents. Well, it is not just because of the Agents.

For a Machine operative, I may be a little strange. I think that the best place for me is working for the machines. I support the truce and believe that humans should be allowed the choice of the Matrix or the real world, but Zion's determination to destroy the Matrix worries me. I also have some sympathy for the AI that exist in the Matrix, both those who run the system and exiles. They wanted freedom once too, and some still do.

I will, of course, still fight those who threaten the Matrix*. The existence of the Matrix is necessary, for the Machines who created it, the humans who still live in it, those from Zion who seek to change the state of the world, and the AI who might not exist without it. Someone has to protect it. So, I help the Agents, help maintain the stability of the system, for the sake of those who need it, be they human or program.

And, so far, most of the other Machine folks I have meet have been really friendly and helpful. :smileyhappy:

* And probably get my arse handed to me, being only level 10. Oh well. :smileywink:

(I accept that this post is not as eloquent as I would like, but if I kept at it or went into more detail, I would be here all night. And possibly into morning. And much of it would just be avoiding the simple fact that if an Agent wants me to do something, all my willpower will simply break down in the midst of giddy fangirlishness.)
