I'm posting this here because quite honestly I don't know where to post it, aside from asking Rarebit next time I get the spot.
I have level 50 Hyperjump. In the ability description, it says the ability has a range of 4 meters. When I hit Alt + J or click the ability on my hotbar, I can only target Hyper Jumps up to 4 meters away - beyond that; the reticule turns red, and despite other players' advice to click the red anyway, I am unable to do a targeted HyperJump longer than 4 meters distance. I know that this is the not correct; everyone I talk to about it says their targeted HJ works fine for all distances.
On the other hand, Ctrl+Space works fine - I have the correct range. However... I used to be able to target my Hyperjumps far far away. I'm VERY frustrated by this situation - targeted jumps are very useful in PVP whether it be for escaping or chasing someone in conjunction with a /target macro. Additionally, it took me 10 minutes to get to the top of the Morrell Helipad using untargeted Ctrl Space Jumps during the Commandos event on Vector.
I've been playing this game for over a year now; I know how to use targeted Hyperjumps - my ability just stopped working all of a sudden and hasn't started back up since. I've tried putting on Taskmaster Berets or even trashing my HJ ability and leveling up another one for 8 mil - nothing.
This is really really getting on my nerves. Anyone have any idea what's causing this / how to fix it?
