My awakening glasses finally broke, and according to my level 50 friend, he can't even repair his. At minimum i'd like to wear them with no use. Its part of my costume heh. Anyone know what I can do here?

do they have any of the little dots left?
It's a known bug, unfortunatly they can't be repaired even if they have a purity dot left.
can any1 remind me how we got those awakened stuff coz I forgot. I still got my shades with full purity and don't use em for the braking reason. I collect such stuff for memories.
you cant get them again swimming it was a 1 time thing (like the mero boon or whatever the other orgs use) as for the cant repair them yea its a bug if you let any item break all the way you cant repair it even if it has dots of purity left (like RockyB said) it sucks lost a stinger to that bug but its better than losing a sakura to it any who make sure you repair you stuff before they break all the way
The awakening glasses/coat came from the Translocation program we were granted when the servers were switched from Monolith to SOE, which you could then hand in to Loripor to get either the glasses or coat.

People actually wear these things? I'm surprised. I needed the inv space so mine were recycled long ago. I think I put them on once when I got them and that was it
Yeah I got the jacket instead (the glasses were naff and round... if they were saped like the void glasses I would have kept them) I only wear it for looks... it never destabilises
thing is, we tried repairing them pre-breaking and it didnt' work either, still purple to a level 50.
repairs not working has been reported to the devs... I repaired a pair of pants the other day. For a difficulty rating of grey they took me over 20 tries to repair... but they did eventually.
Sorry for the necro, but just wanted to add to this thread that I repaired my Awakening Glasses tonight, finally after months of trying. Level 50 repair items ability, jacket with repair items 2pts, and Coder buff.
Glasses repaired to full working status, and they do provide a buff but I didn't catch what it was, 'cause I was standing in the booster influence area, which refreshed my bonus screen to fast, lol. . .
+5 tactics for like 5 seconds I think -_- . Shud be more in my oppinion as we see the reuse timer.... BTW whats the ./invoke command of them?
probably something like
/invoke AwakeningGlasses

I don't think there is an invoke command for them because the effect is tied to the activation of an item, not an actual loadable ability.

The repair bug it would seem onoly reduces your chances to repair to a very low percentage (like 1 in 1000). You can repair completely broken items... you just have to try a lot of times... took me 30 minutes to repair my gloves the other day.
