The Full System Check is tricksy!




To correctly run the system check do the following:


  • flip the switch before accepting the SOE EULA (white text on black background message that you have to accept)

  • the launcher will patch and restart

  • accept the EULA

  • Before entering your username and password flip the switch a second time (this will actually check the game files, the first time only checks the launcher)

  • The game will scan and patch then log in (just like during a patch, except it checks all files)

it says that the patch is down or no internet connection ,i checked the internet connection and it works so what is wrong???

These may help.






More than likely it's due to the patch server actually being offline. Please post back if you fix this problem.

What exactly does it check for? What does this process do?

I know it is important and I do it periodically, but I'm just not sure what exactly it does.

You don't need to run a full system check unless you are experiencing problems.

What it does is check the game files COMPLETELY. A patch assumes your files are correct and just patches them with the new code. The full check checks that the entire file is correct and checks all files not just the patched ones.

Sometimes the data downloaded by the patcher is corrupted or the files get corrupted by a failed quit.
