New CCR system doesnt have an attatch file button?

There doesnt seem to be a button to attatch screnshots to ccr's in the
new system now, is it just me not seeing it or is this a) no longer
going to be done or b) accidently left out?

For right now (I was told) your not going to be able to attach any screens or files, this is because the system that they are using doesent support it. They got the system from SWG and EQ2, both of those game dont have the option to upload anything, so for time being you will have to be real descriptive when making a report.

So how are we supposed to provide evidence of players exploiting/harrassing/being all round annoying idiots? This needs changing.

They can pull chat logs and system logs from the servers when they need it, so if you can give them the correct name they will get all the info they need. Just remember, everything is logged

Question based on this. We used to right click on a character to "report abuse" thus, generating a zip file of infromation allowing the CSR to track down the player in question - which we needed to attach to the report. If we can no longer do this, has the report abuse function been changed to accomodate this, or is it going to be changed in the near future? Basically, how should we report abuse in the best possible fashion to ensure prompt action by a CSR?

They will be taking that function out, it's not needed anymore. When you go to report abuse from now on all you need to do is make an Abuse ticket with what the play done and the players exact name, thats it. They can go and pull chat logs from the server and go from there, this is why they dont need that zip file...those logs will tell them everything

Yeah but the way I see it, that's a step backwards in terms of speed and efficiency. As not every player is going to know how to report abuse correctly anymore.

It's simple....it takes out a step, all you have to do is say the players name and thats it.

And trust me, it's faster then it ever has been...player abuse tickets are the ones that get looked at first, and resolved in a quick manner. We dont know what they log on the servers end but I think it's enough to where they can pull logs for each players and search through them in secounds...only time can tell us if the new system will be better or not.

Interesting, i submited a ticket a few days ago about a player harrasing another. I tried to be specific in the report, and i also wrote i had Screen shots of the incident. On the reply back the CSR told me to Attach the SS's of the incident to the report. So now im like uh....ok?

thats bad real bad....they should know that the system has changed and that you cant do that....I wonder if everyone got the office memo about the change o_O
