I could hazard a guess here, mind you its purely conjecture...
when you do the switch over, if you already had an existing station account, you are able to sign in on Sonys auth server, (log in screen) but when we try to access the game, the game server rejects us because we dont pass the credentials for our old account?
which would mean we'd have to wait till monday for somone there to fix.

Thought of something....Is there a free trial of this game or something? If I could log into an account i knew was good...i would know it wasnt my comp.
