Well, my first problem is in-game related. Since the account conversion, I had no problem logging into the game itself using my new station account, however I have noticed that now all items and abilities no longer dispay that 'detail wondow' that appears when you mouse over the icon to see the name, deatils buffs etc. This goes for all items and anything that uses this window.


My other problem is to do with passwords and email address'. Yesterday, I couldn't log into the forums, instead, being greeted with a 'Loading...' page then reverting back to the log in page. Alas, this is fine today, so I know that my email address is valid along with my password. This isn't the case however when I try to use the Support page on the SOE website (clicking the 'Support' button on the MxO opening page). Apparantly my user ID and password combination are not valid. This is also true when using the /ccr or /bug feature in-game. I get the same problem.


I hope that this is something that is being sorted out and appears under the 'forum problems' catagory that the devs explained about, and is being fixed. Any sugestions to my first problem would be greatly appreciated. :smileyhappy:

I don't know about the ingame problem, but for the other two:

1) The forums had a problem and needed to be wiped and reset. User accounts were lost during this time it seems - give it a few days and the SOE guys should have it fixed apparently.

2) The support site is rather strange. It doesn't use the station password. And you will not have an account there until after you submit your first problem and a tech support guy creates a new account for you. At which point they use the email address you give to send you a generated random string, that will be your password for the support site.

If you are still having trouble with it, I suggest using the live support, open a chat session and when finished, the TSR will create the account for you.

OK, the chat support either doesn't like me or is horribly inept. I either get a 'For in-game support go to (website URL)' or an annoying 'Not Supported' message. Does this mean that I can never use the 'support'?

They might not have anyone there right now, if you wait until phone support is open you can try that.

I'll try reinstalling the game first. failing that, I'll just wait for things to sort themselves out.

Ya, I dont know what to tell you about the details coming up when you mouse over, but the forum has a small problem with peoples email addresses, im thinking it's from the reset. The ingame support site is different, you have to make an account for it too...I miss the old one, it logged you in and all that stuff. Hope you can get yout problems fixed SMILEY

The details window you speak of is a settings in the advanced preferences. That option can be turned on and off, it's possible it was reset with the settings wipe when the new user folder was created with the station account. Check your advanced game preferences and make sure all your UI tips are turned on.
