I found this article on another messageboard, I don't normally read news articles, but this one really held my attention.

Pretty messed up stuff.

eh.. some things may be so, but there is an awful lot of supposition and fact claiming without any siting of where the information came from. i'd read something along those lines before and it impressed me as little as it does now. it seems more editorial than article to me.

I'm not gonna say much on here, but I played Galaxies for quite some time. There were many people who were upset at how the game was handled, as well as many people that found "evidence" that this was not a spur of the moment change (some of which wasn't even implemented) . There's a lot of stuff out there, and you'd be suprised how much stuff is legit. But, this probably shouldn't be discussed here.

Wanna hear a familiar story?  There's something called Org Abilities that we'll be getting...next year...

The buffer that we all (Anti SoE) players have is our experiences with SoE's expansions.

We've witnessed them first hand. We know the structure of the event. We see the npcs "toned down".

A lot of players played beta for their expansions.

ust one expansion that comes to mind, Everquest's Planes of Power. Everyone zone except the end game zone was in the beta test. And when it went live still after months of progression atleast 15 guilds (usually 70+ players in each guild) were halted at 1 Event.

my brother was part of the guide  program (volunteer game masters). They had little to no power at all. they merely helped with sorting petitions and bugs. My brother told me that the group of guides were talked down to with little to no respect. Seeing that these are players stepping up to help the real gm's out, i find that to be rather upsetting.

No one escapes their past.

No one escapes judgement.
