I was under the impression that US players would receieve a free month's subscription for transferring to SOE, which would be credited after the existing subscription time ran out.
However, I run a monthly subscription, and have been billed for the month of August, the month of September, and now I just received my October bill in the mail.
Was the free subscription cancelled, or was I just left out?

I never really tracked my billing cycle. I know the free month was only given if you transferred before a certain date.
I cancelled a few weeks back and I know I got my "free" month since my subscription doesn't run out till 10/25.
When in doubt, spend 10-15 mins on the SOE billing line.

I have just sent a nasty-gram to SOE about this as well. I was double billed as I am an Access Pass member and MxO was added to the Access Pass, so I got my Pass bill (which carries all my SOE games) AND I got billed for MxO. Funny thing is the bill seems to be from WB which shouldn't happen. I started my MxO account before SOE took over so I had my 30day trial there, and was supposed to receive a 30day free period as well from SOE (which didn't matter since I pay for the pass anyway). I signed in the day SOE took over billing, and already had the same info as I knew that the SOE aquisition was coming. I am curious how many others got double billed in this fashion. I hope SOE makes good on it, they can be worse than some insurance companies about saying "No" as a matter of policy.

I never got my first free month for purchasing the game or the free
month for the station account thing... which i did the station thing as
soon as i found out about it.
