threw and threw since the launch of the Play station I hate sony. there are many reasons as to why I.E both playstations broke on me within a year of buying and my phone which I'm still trying to get fixed.

but yeah if you hate sony cuz your not a game N00B please feel free to say.

oh for all of you who say oh but the consoles have so many good games. uh sony dont make them. they dont probibly even found games being made. they just stick their ore in first with every game and if a game looks like it may do well they buy up all the rights to have that game made for their console first.

for the basic reasons of plain retards see games on the playstation first and think OMG it must be so great. but in actual fact the playstation consoles so far have been on the weaker end of the specs between consoles since playstation. the sega saturn had much better specs and so did the N64 and then sega baught out the dreamcast which for your information was an amaising peice of game technology shenue will always be the best game of all time. so far ahead for its time.

If you hate Sony as much as you say because your PS and phone broke here's a piece of advice.

'Stop buying Sony Products'... Simple soloution. Whinging about it isn't about to help.

(Not saying you can't or shouldn't, each to his own.)

I on the other hand think Sony are great. I've used alot of their stuff over the years and the only thing I've had a problem with was my PS2. (But they cost next to nothing now so who cares) Everything else, my TV, DVD player, even my Mp3 player are all great. So you've had a few bad experiences with Sony... Try something else >: )

P.S Isn't this a SoE forum not a SCE/Erricson/or other product one???

When I read the title of this thread, I just knew I would see some intelligent and compelling reasons to dislike an entire conglomeration. Playstation is the responsible for so much misery.

What I like the most is: He bought two playstations. The hatred of the first caused him to buy the second. And, then he bought a Sony phone. You're funny to me.

Haha. So true. I fear that "simple solutions" to remedy this Sony problem may be too advanced for some people.

Personally, I've had a Playstation since launch and mine still works fine. There seems to be a striking relationship between how people take care of their systems and how long their systems last.

and if you googled about ps2 stuff, you'd probably find out version 7
PS2s are way better than the current ones due to a laser lens defect,
but hey, no harm done

lol ive had a playstation for what like 5 years now or whatever, mine is even chipped which is suppose to damage it quicker and it still works fine to this very day. My ps2 works great as well, mayb ur just unlucky either that or ur doing something to them like dropping it from a high building i dont know.

Thing is tho sony may or may not mak the best console but the fact remains the best game developers choose to work more with the playstation (could be challenged by xbox360).

As someone else said if u dont like sony stop buying ther stuff and whining about them on a matrix forum isnt gonna do anything.

Yep. Most people have the ones that have the lens defect even though Sony says that their products are omnipotent and we are not.

I have a Sony Discman that I got in the early 90's and it still works perfectly today.
