I went to my girlfriends uncles wedding today, as i told Aquatium. The church was lovely and so was the bride (who was an hour late btw).
After the wedding the family was getting their photos took, so me and another guy thought we would get started on that free bar!
After the photos were took and everyone was getting thier drinks and food was on it's way. I was talking to my girlfriends granddad as he went to the toilet and i went for another drink. About 5 miniutes after i got back to my table i noticed a few people running around. My girlfriend went down to check it out. Not a miniute later she stumbled out the door, face red, mascara running. I suddenly sobered up and ran down to her. "My granddad isn't breathing" she said. He passed away. He passed away on his sons wedding day.
The sounds his daughters pleas will live with my for the rest of my days. For a while i thought i was in a nightmare. But now, now i know it was real. He's gone.
Make sure you tell those close to you just how much they mean to you. You never know whats around the corner. I found that out the hard way.
