Have you heard about this? Instead of the flop "Enter the Matrix" was, They are making a new Matrix game for the current consoles.

And you get to Play as Neo.

Personally I think, as far as the story goes, Enter the matrix was useful. But Gameplay sucked...

I Pray that they wont mess up this one, because if they do, They are Going to catch a lot of flak from every Matrix Fan...

Your thoughts?

Yeah, "Enter the Matrix" was quite a trainwreck.

But it was still cool to play through it to see more story! SMILEY

Path of Neo looks pretty impressive, I hope it turns out to be a hit.

i haven't played "enter the matrix" and i wasn't in a hurry to pick it up... but if the new game is built around badass abilities, a big world to run around in like in spiderman, gta, or mxo. it might be worth picking up.

You can probably find Enter the Matrix in the Wal-Mart PC games bargain section for like $10... That's where I got it, DVD version too. SMILEY

Yes Enter the Matrix was pretty awful, while some aspects of it had potential, ie from the viewpoint of playing as Niobe/Ghost, the rest of it was just a disappointment. But aside from that Path of Neo looks really good from the trailer and I'm hoping Shiny Entertainment have learnt much from Enter the Matrix. There previous games have always been pretty good.

Even if Path of Neo turns out to be a good game, reviewers will most
likely jump on the popular "games based on movies suck" bandwagon.
There will be so many reviewers who will give it a bad review no matter
how good it turns out. Especially after Enter the Matrix.

Yep.

Even though Enter the Matrix was not so good, I personally considered it a 7/10. Maybe I'm a little biased.

I think MxO got pretty fair reviews from IGN and Gamespot. They pretty much told it like it was, even though there were a few things they didn't look into much and made some unfair claims about the game and it impacted its overall score.

Atari's making it.

And ETM was pretty good - I've seen much worse movie based games. The movie footage alone was worth it for me.
