An interesting book to read if not read already is 'The Age of Spiritual Machines' by Ray Kurzweil where he maps out the next 100 years for the advancement of AI, where he believes that machines will attain and then surpass the capabilities of the human brain and by 2099 there will be no clear distinction between humans and computers.
And a book I'm reading at the moment is the biography of science fiction writer Philip K **bleep** titled 'I am Alive and You Are Dead: A journey into the Mind of Philip K **bleep**' by Emmanuel Carrere, a fascinating read and mentions a bit about the Turing Test and how he used it for his book 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'.
