To call  Mervs Exiles is a bit wrong in my eyes, seeing as "exiles" is what we call programs that have fled from the machine. Not the redpills standing at their side.
Also, the above definition only fit a few, in the same way a definition for the other organisations doesnt fit all of their members. Why I play tagged as mero? To help a people that have nowhere else to go, all they have is a shelter, a shelter that should be a haven.

Hmm... (just trying to explain a bit clearer incase there is any confusion)


Mervs, or Meros as I like to say personally, are the Redpills (humans) that are in the organisation following the Merovingian.

Exiles are programs that have fled from the machine world, hiding inside the Matrix, keeping themselves from deletion, thus living in exile.


Different Meros have different reasons for being in the organisation of the Merovingian, not necessarily loyal to him.
